Love the r but a gen 3 ess mustang probably on 100mm pulley on ms109 would be making well over 900whp. They are well into the 4s 60-130. Something massively doesnt add up.

I’m in between a mk7.5 or mk 8 golf r. I love my mk7 gti but it’s not awd and the golf r is a lil nicer. Thankfully my work would give me a slight discount on a brand new golf r so I’m leaning towards mk8 but I haven’t seen any mk8 come close to what you’re doing. Sick mk7.5 r man seriously there’s a couple that come to my town for the loe show in Pottstown that vw sponsors. But nothing at your level of fast.

That mustang with those mods must've been a lemon or driver doesn't know how to drive, because respectfully there's no way, especially going off the other cars that ended up beating you. Good runs though bro.
A golf R of that year chased me from behind. He had a bigger turbo and underestimated my comp g gtp. He gave me a huge hit and brake boosted but could never catch me in moderate traffic. He sped away angrily after that 😁

Golf R's are light compared to newer cars,
Get a mech lsd and good tire setup and on a roll in dry conditions you won't need awd
Get a golf r32 trust me
Get an a3 2.0
It's hard to justify going to an r after a GTI. Sure every GTI owner wants an r but the cost to upgrade is too high for such an incremental upgrade

Gen1 B58 trans would slip before the pures800s reach full potential. That 340 was probably around the same hp as the golf r but weighing more.

EA888gen3 and up gan handle 600hp without internal upgrades. That said, just to be safe, wouldn't be a bad idea.
