Thanks for sharing! This was confirmation for me. I recently had let go of talking to a guy at my church because he was still a babe in Christ and could not lead me spiritually. My flesh didn’t want to end it but I had to be obedient to God. There were too many red flags. When I turned him down after his many attempts of him trying to get in a relationship with me he rebounds and started talking to another female at my church. I then found out that he’s engaged to marry her after only talking to her for a month! I knew I didn’t make the wrong decision but the enemy was causing me to question myself if I did something wrong with turning him down. I feel if you’re new to Christ your main focus should be growing in your walk with God. Any other relationship you’re trying to balance with God can be a distraction. Also if someone accepts you for who you are without you growing fully into the man or woman God has called you to be you might become complacent and no longer grow if your intentions were wrong to begin with as to why you were growing in your relationship with God.

I’ve always appreciated your transparency…I agree with everything you said in this video! People will literally tell me “give him a chance”, but I’m not willing to take the risk of dating someone who’s not as rooted as I am. It’s NOT judging or saying they’re a bad person, but I “personally” can’t have a man lead me who doesn’t lead like Jesus💯. I’m standing on God’s principles no matter what.
I’m going to argue this one, because my girlfriend (soon to be fiancé) dated me prior and she was way more saved than me at the time, (I was still in the World) and slowly as time went on I gave my life to Christ & now leading her more to Christ, growing our relationship with God daily, and soon to be engaged. It’s not the chances for many people, but it works for some.
Then she was lucky. Because at first, she made a mistake. Shouldn't have date you. You were in the world. *2 Corinthians 6:14 Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? or what communion hath light with darkness?* .
@@er_5406 totally agree. But it is all about heart posture. I was a believer, went to Church but you know just because one goes to church doesn’t mean you are saved (but I was more lukewarm than anything) & as we kept dating, I took initiative to submit to God and let the World go completely, got my faith got back on track & our relationship is now God centered.
Doesn’t work for 95% of people, don’t be unequally yoked as you said, & many Worldly people love it and won’t give it up, but God did for us, thank God, if it wasn’t for Him this wouldn’t have happened.
You said it right. Your financé is the exception! Let's not give people false hope based on an exception. This video is on point and supported by scripture.
I think it depends on their intentionality and heart to pursue the Lord.

The other who’s more spiritually mature will have to be baby sitting basically especially if the person if just now coming to Christ & that’s just waaay too much work to be done. this reminds me of Megan Good and Devon Franklin. He was in the church forever and he was celibate for 10 years - she was celibate for 1 year before they got married if I’m not mistaken and I don’t believe she ever liked church prior because she felt judged. I think they were cute but that’s why it didn’t work out in the end, he wanted kids and she didn’t. They were not equally yolked but they tried.
In their case, I really believe Megan had unhealed trauma and going thru warfare. The way she dressed, her salacious acting roles suggested spiritual attack from the evil one.
She was never born again that’s the difference. Compared to a new believer, they’re a babe in Christ and there are times God can and will use swiftly.

Can you do a video on whether you should date multiple people or just one person while getting to know them.
If you want to marry you should court not date only one person. If your trying to find a spouse, be clear If dating many.
What if some guy/gal meets new beliver and God was hoping for marriage, maybe this is, like sometimes its not good idea, sometimes its ok
