I have been that same friend in the past, but now, at the age I am. I listen to the advice I receive from those who genuinely care about my well-being, then go to scripture for confirmation before putting that advice into action 🙏🏾 😊
Thank You, Godly Dating 101!!!!! This video was definitely a blessing to me. I went through a breakup earlier this year, and I have obviously gotten over it when I actually started to seek His Gospel, His Truth, His Proverbs, and His Letters. It took a couple a months, but I have overcame it all. The relationship that I was in was not necessarily a bad one, but we were unequally yoked, we worked at the same job, and she was not a God-Fearing individual. All it took was His Word and some Christian-based Therapy on BetterHelp to realize that I don't need to worry about a thing when all things are going to work for my good but not on my timeline. I am grateful that we serve a God who is untouched by space and time, and that I have no better reason to remain single and have Christ as my bride. AMEN!! ✝✝

Welcome back!🎊. I’m currently in a season like this and it is so easy to be deceived or become impatient . I think it’s important to ask god for wisdom and discernment, or even a trusted leader for advice( pastor preferably). But ultimately refer to scripture it will never lead you astray, and if you still struggle on making a decision wait on god!
Been married for three years now and I feel like this at times.
I need prayers; recently, I’ve been really focused on trying to find the husband God wants for me. I’ve downloaded several Christian dating apps and things still are unclear and very confusing. The man I’m in contact with is a great man who makes good husband material and we get along great, BUT I am only following the path of the Lord, WHATEVER that means. God knows I want to be a good wife, He knows I’ve been waiting so long and I’m doing whatever I can to do that. I’ve been having a hard time discerning the difference between His voice and my own thoughts. I am willing to do whatever it takes just to follow God and only God, so that He may genuinely lead me to the man who wants to make me his wife. And I want it to be so that I don’t even get upset when I don’t get my way because His way is better; I’m just afraid that I will be upset. I just want God and only God. Sometimes I still have that fear that He doesn’t really love me❤️✝️🙏
This was so good! I really enjoyed this. This video is very timely and reaffirming to all I am thinking and going through in this season of life. I love all the scriptures you mentioned just listening and letting it seep into my soul.
I also appreciate the mention for us to direct our eyes back onto the Lord by reading the word of God for ourselves as it is the pillar to growing our own personal relationship with Him. As we mediate on the word of God our faith will too in turn grow stronger even in the midst of chaos. Two scriptures that come to mind that aligns and gives me encouragement with this is Romans 10:17 “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” and Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Also I love how you mentioned Ephesians 3:20 it reminds me to come up higher in my thinking and expectation especially in the midst of chaos.
