Andrew, first of all I have been a fan of yours since you were just a lad. When I was in university I worked for a Spanish chef (graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Paris) and he cooked a dish similar to the shrimp in olive oil and garlic, but with the shrimp in their shells and heads on them. He called the dish Camaronês à basques.
Andriu dsd costa rica gracias a usted nos llevaste a viajar por el mundo y aprender más del arte culinario de esos increíbles países y si se ve bien cometelo gracias un abrazo hermano dsd costa rica
Tapas is amazing when done well...the best I've had is the Basque version - pintxos - that I had in San Sebastian. Interestingly the reason why pork is so popular in Spain is because the native population ate it in larger quantities as a protest towards the Moorish invaders who occupied large parts of Spain for 500 years and were Muslim. That fact apart...pata negra - the best iberico ham - is the finest in the world! Parma/prosciutto/Jambon de Bayonne don't come close!
Pintxos is Basque. It's not Catalan. Don't confuse the two. You could start a war 😂 San Sebastian is in the Basque country. San Sebastian is amazing though and every foodie should visit at least once.
Congrats Andrew Your pronunciation of Madrileños was very good.

La cocina italiana no le llega a la española ni a la suela del zapato.

@@sneer0101 lol my mistake! Will change 😅
@@randyschwaggins you didnt say anything catalan did you?😅🤣
There’s some unconventional pronunciation in the translations. Jamon does not ever rhyme with Ramone.
Unless you are Michael Jackson
