    Thanks for everyone that commented and watched the video!
    Important notes:
    1. the total power output of the car is 33kW not 37kW like i mentioned in the video. my mistake (bad memory / not easy to think in front of the camera). so there was no power limit at 10% and 5% battery. also at 1% battery there was only 10% power limit (30kW out of the 33kW), not 20% reduction like i mentioned. - small error. apologies for this.
    2. avarage speed was about 25km/h . yes it's not a lot, but you could still go 50km/h no problem if needed however this test was more to show what happens in the city (where this car should drive most of it's time) if you are on 0% and need to get home / to work / to a charger.
    3. i forgot to mention this, but the heating was active all the way until the car died. so you could use the heating in the car if you wanted to.
    4. i will try to do the video again in March or April at 15C* - let's see what the results will be then
    5. next video will be charging the battery from absolute 0% to absolute 100% - it will be interesting 😁
    🙏⚡🙏

      Can you do the same test, but charged to 100% and then drive to absolute zero (like in this video) and give us total range and efficiency?

    • @electzro
      @electzro  2 роки тому +1

      I mean sure but there are other tests showing the consumption in different scenarios. Just add 20-40 km to each test depending on the scenario. Hipermiling to get the best results for sure would be interesting but also unrealistic. I could get under 10kwh/100km avg consumption and then the car would drive about 300km but it's unrealistic circumstances

    Looks like Dacia have built in a high percentage of hidden battery to allow for degradation and to make sure battery guarantee life is maintained, great news especially when test done in winter at sub zero temps . Great test

    Finally in English!!! Please consider doing it more often! Otherwise good job! 🙌🙌🙌
    About the Dacia, it’s quite amazing, however all car manufacturers ‘oversecure’ the cars a bit, even at the classic petrol cars, there is always a tiny bit of extra in the tank after you hit 0.
    I would be interested to see similar test, but with a much older and worn Dacia Spring to see how the battery deteriorates after 150-200-250k km 👀

      yes, the car can be heated or cooled from the app (on / off only so you have to set the temperature in the car before you close the car but generally in the summer you will leave it on cool, and in the winter on warm and that's it). pay attention to the level of equipment, the base car does not have app support. make sure to check which version you're getting if the app is important for your usage

      @@electzro We have Springs here in Poland in carsharing called Traficar. As an employee who mainly works with these cars I see that average range of the car from fully charged to ~5-10% of battery is around 130-160 km depending on the driving styles of our customers. So I can assume that effective range of the car by the private owner is around 170 km from full to the 10% given the fact that private owners have to pay for electricity and care about own property so drive more eco in the first place. Still if I am not mistaken Dacia states that the car can make around 230 km of range and even more driving with eco mode on. So since I haven't seen any of ours Springs making even 200 kilometer between charging it would make sense that Dacia adds that "0%" range to their specification on the website. 170+40=210 is much more close to the stated 230 km.

    • @electzro
      @electzro  Рік тому +1

      @bdshke thr average range for those car sharing cars is a bit lower because probably everybody who drives the car is trying out the electric experience and making hard accelerations. 230km is achievable no problem without going on 0%. I've seen people driving efficiently and even getting 250km of range or more. The difference is in driving stile (and weather conditions as well).

      I didn't count the kms for that charge as that was not the idea of the video. But if you're driving carefully and have a consumption of about 10kwh/100km like i did, and you run from 100% to under 0% like i did, you can get about 280 to 300kms with the car.

    To safely push your car (any passenger vehicle): Disengage the hand brake, put the driver side seat belt over your shoulder, like a backpack, then hold the steering wheel with your right hand and the A pillar with your left hand and start walking. You can essentially wear your car as a backpack and you can "carry" it uphill like this, no problem (depending on it's size)

    Mașina pt oraș . Sa mergi in vacanța încărcat măcar jumătate si cel puțin 3 persoane va trebuii sa oprești la fiecare 150-200 km ca sa reîncarci bateria . Cat e nouă poate avea performanțe foarte bune dar ce faci după 5 ani de rulaj,bateria va fi la fel,vor fi aceleași performanțe? 300 km in oraș este ok,200 km MAX pe highway este destul de puțin . Ca sa numai zic ca in momentul in care ajungi la 20% baterie trebuie sa te informezi unde încarci din nou . Se știe foarte bine ce preț au bateriile de schimb si dacă ajungi sa schimbi bateria nu știu câți dintre cei care vor avea o asemenea mașina vor fi dispuși sa sch bateriile . Deocamdată nu ma convins . As prefera o Toyota Corolla hibrid este mai scumpă dar cel puțin 250-300000 km nu vei avea nicio problema cu bateriile iar dacă bateriile se termina ,poți folosi motorul pe combustibil . Ca sa numai zic ca la final mai si explica de ce este așa ieftină . Deci dacă vrei si altceva mai plătești încă jumate din pret .
