These are also the type of cars car manufacturers want to produce - cheap, inefficient, waiting for a trip to the dealer. I'm sorry but there are eco friendlier cars from the 1990s that are non car enthusiast oriented. These cars are for the old and super naïve (in essence a scam).

wait until you find you that at home you can only charge single phase. Nobody has 32A on their single phase to use the full 6.6kw per hour charge speed. So even if you have a three phase type 2 charger you will only be able to use 1 phase. So 3 to 4kw per hour max at 16A. Even DC cannot charge more then 30kw but you cannot have that at home. So you will be doomed to queue on public DC stations or charge for 8 hours at home.

Comfortable to drive, and as our speed limit here in France is 110 kmph not much interest in going any faster. It has not a lot of space in the back, but the dog doesn't care. Good room in the boot for my shopping and if I need to shop more can drop the seats down. Does the job on our country lanes as well. Very happy with my decision.

12 k€ in France, perfect for most people who have two cars, especially in rural areas since it is often easy to install a plug at home to charge the car. In cities, the best "second car" is public transportation! You could have connect your phone to the car screen, I think most users will do that instead of trying to use the car's GPS. My mother live in the countryside and have an ICE Twingo because a Zoé was "to big" for her, but this car would have been far better than her ICE Twingo and even cheaper, and the range is far far enough for her needs, not to mention the relief not to have to go to the gas station, a far more difficult task than plugin at home when you are 78 years old.

I ordered one by mistake (I had a beer too much one evening) on Sep of 2021 and I got the car in March 2022...What can I say, after 1 year of driving this 44/35 HP (on ECO mode) car? I should drink more beer, this is my conclusion. I fell in love with this car, no, seriously! A few days ago I sent a dash-camera video to my friends showing me "flying" with the car in the city while using ECO mode setting which limits the power at 35 HP. After 1 year I can't believe this car has only 35/44 HP! For sure it is a mistake somewhere, most probably the car has 135/144 HP, not 35/44...Initially, when I saw a car with 44 HP having a speed limiter I started to laugh...I was thinking what's the purpose? Well, now I know. Light- weight vehicles are the best!

Including the government subsidies the entire car gets cheaper than it's traction battery. For the first 2 years since the model was launched the devaluation was negative, in other words, second hand cars were sold 25-30% more expensive than new ones because the waiting time is quite long. I'm so fed up with all these people saying that these terrible cars priced at 20-30k are cheap. It's as if everyone suddenly got amnesia and forgot what a NORMAL citycar price is.
For 15k you can buy a mid spec Renault Clio with the 100HP turbo LPG engine which is a million times nicer in every single way, or if you really want a barebones cheap car you can buy a base model 65HP Dacia Sandero for 8-9k and it will still smoke this pos in both usability and performance.

You gotta understand what you are driving. It's a basic small city car, never meant to be used on autobahn or on highways. It's an urban car to move from end to end of city area. Nothing more. And you do not need more for that, there's heater, AC and central lock for the doors. It looks like you've not driven the original Dacias from the 2010 huh? :D Nothing new to the door sounds, it's just they do not have ANY sound proofing. They tried to make the vehicle light as they could, and affordable as well. I would like to lease one, but those are not available at all here at Finland. At least, for now. A good choice for someone that wants a dedicated city commuter that is tethered to home charging. Not practical for road trips. I can see a lot of 2 car families buying this and their second care is ICE or hybrid for longer trips. More manufacturers need to start offering cars that are stripped down and affordable...EV or ICE.

    • @didierpuzenat7280
      @didierpuzenat7280 2 роки тому +3

Yes, but it is because ncap has evolved just before the test, many 4 or 5 starts cars would have 0 or 1 star with the new test. The new Zoé received a 0 star score, while the Spring has just 1 star. It is just because ncap now includes many driving assistances in the score, assistances that are not so common on small cars. So I guess Renault/Dacia will just have to add a few assistances. And honestly, spending money on a cruse control for a car that will probably never do a long trip, is not so smart. Too bad cars are not loosing stars when they are not zero emission, because air pollution kills 400 000 people just in Europe and every year, according to the WHO, not to mention climate change.

Vreau sa va impartasesc experienta mea cu Dacia Spring. Am primit-o in
decembrie !
Viata si-a urmat cursul, masina a ajuns in
reprezentanta Dacia cu promisiunea ca va fi reparata. Asta inainte de
sarbatoare nasterii domnului de anul trecut (nu am relatii stranse cu
domnul, dar am folosit pretextul pentru a localiza actiunea in timp). A
trecut covidul, a venit razboiul iar masina mea tot in REPREZENTANTA
