As a retail employee and a pagan, I hate the holidays. Loathe it. Never understood why people lose their minds to get the best deals when they literally just "gave thanks" for everything they already have. Lmao obviously the holidays aren't for giving thanks or family. It's about trampling people and treating employees like trash and giving money to the corporate overlords. Edit: I just came back to clarify that I am fully aware that Christian holidays are plagiarized from pagan. And to add to that, the word pagan is an umbrella term that incorporates multiple types of pagan religions and you have no way of knowing what I choose and do not choose to celebrate unless you know me personally. I think it's hilarious people know me better than myself from a vague UA-cam comment.
Yes, agreed. The weird thing is that here in the Netherlands, thanksgiving is not celebrated, but 99% of the shops have ‘adopted Black Friday. I’m staying home and away from the net tomorrow.

When I was about 13 years old, my best friend and I had no idea about black Friday. We thought it would be great to get all of our friends their crappy gifts of cheap glitter lotions, body wash, and sickening body spray at a great "deal." We asked my mom to drop us off at the mall. She laughed and said we were insane and that we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. We said we didn't care and looking back I am horrified that she would drop her child and her child's best friend off into that madness lol (all jokes aside, she is an amazing mother and I love her so much). Boy, did we find out what black Friday was. That was the first and only time I've been out on black Friday. I'm 31 years old. I was thinking of going to Kohl's tomorrow but after watching this, I'll be ordering online.
After becoming involved in a physical altercation at Victoria’s Secret almost 10 years ago, I do not participate in black Friday shopping anymore. People are fucking crazy. I had a woman smack me right in my face over a lotion! It ended up in me defending myself and her being eventually thrown out of the store and arrested. I was not thrown out of the store or arrested surprisingly, but I was done after that. I went home and I have never went black Friday shopping again. Black Friday tomorrow will be my 10th year not going. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!! Have a wonderful holiday 🍂🍁🦃🍁🍂

I have never gone out during Black Friday just because of all the crazy people. I remember the Reno, NV accident as I lived there at the time. Thank you for sharing.
The "Southern California" Toys'R'Us was in Rancho Mirage, CA (near Palm Springs and Coachella). I was working about 3 blocks away at Century Theaters @ the River when that happened. One of my coworkers also worked at Toys'R'Us and was in the building when it all went down. He looked so shaken, which is understandable because that was a pretty decent neighborhood, and it happened in a toy store which you'd presume to be safe.
Its like "he's got a gun", other Customers: "how much did he pay, I want one, where's the sports department". These incidents would be a good theme for an old school video game, dudes shooting at you, trying to jump on your head, while your grabbing items off the shelves.
I don't live in the USA and always sit and watch these stories in amazement. I'm incredulous that the prospect a saving a couple of dollars turns people into savages with no regard for human life. And usually they are buying stuff they don't even need - they may want it, but do they really NEED it? There are sales in my country where people engage in similar behaviour but no one, as far as I know, takes a gun with them when they go shopping, let alone use a gun when they are shopping. That's crazy - they could have shot anyone that day. If they had no guns they would most likely still be alive.
I live in the USA and I don't get it either. as for guns, theres a post here describing a knife attack over a leather sofa in London. the store was selling them at a big loss to draw ppl in and someone got stabbed. why take a knife or a gun? it's a dangerous world but those ppl carried for mischief not self defense.
I live in the U.K. and things can get just as crazy here! People act so horribly to each other! My advice? Stay in, shop online, and most of all, stay safe! It's not worth risking your life for a 'bargain'!
"Savages" seems an apt description. "I'ma gonna get up at the ass-crack of dawn and trample over my neighbors to save $5 on a waffle maker that I don't even need." Yikes!
I think stores kinda have Black Friday week. I’ve seen Walmart online having pre-black Friday for days and it lasting four more days. Plus it’s online at most stores
I remember years ago here in London, Ikea opened a superstore and offered leather sofas for peanut money to attract the crowds. There was a massive brawl over them and knives were used. What’s wrong with some people?
weird how ppl don't see that she. the govt bans guns, criminals will use knives instead. violent ppl will be violent....Caine killed Abel with a rock ffs. I don't believe it's an historical account but it is definitely an accurate account of one aspect of human nature.

Would you please do a full video on the wrong person being shot and killed. @dire trip It amazes me how the stores only close for a couple of hours. I guess money to be made can't wait. I use to work in retail and before the holiday if a toy said 30% off once rang up basically they only got a discount on the taxes not the item itself. Not only seeing it for myself the supervisor also told us in meetings with management before the black Friday sale
This is actually incorrect information about the Galleria only closing for a few hours after the killings of E.J. Bradford and shooting of 2 small children. The Galleria was closed (i know because I lived at the time about 20 minutes away) till sometime the next day. That is not the important part in this tragedy. The Hoover Police officer that was on duty during the initial attack took 5 seconds of placing his eyes on Mr. Bradford before deciding that he was the initial shooter and killing him. The AG of Alabama Steve Marshall, after a bullshit investigation, decided that it was justified! Many protest were held, but no change at all! They tried to vilify this young soldier on the local media. Thankfully the truth came out by witnesses who came forward. Not only was this a shooting in a crowded place by young men who risked everything on pride, but a very young boy also lost his life and a beautiful little girl lost her eye. This incident is still ongoing the shooters have yet to stand trial (to my understanding). IMHO the Hoover Police officer should be in prison for the next 25 years. If you are that afraid or if you won't take the time to get the right information before firing your weapon then you have no damn business pretending to protect & serve the public.

I remember being at the Toys R Us couple hours before the shooting. To my understanding, at least from what we locals heard among us, the shooting was gang related which is why no other people were shot and only those involved in the argument were the ones injured.
Gang related or not, everyone was lucky they had good aim because even if they weren't targeting other people, stray bullets are still a thing and they kill bystanders just as well.

It use to be fun to see what you could get on Black Friday but people have become awful on this day so I don’t even bother anymore. Be safe y’all. Unfortunately I’m willing to bet that this year will probably be the worst (most killed and hurt) people have lost their minds and it’s every person for themselves. Instead of the last 2 years making us closer it’s turned people into savage animals…
My girlfriend was in the Riverchase Galleria in Birmingham Al when the shooting happened. I was on the phone with her and heard shots in the background. She was far enough away to not be in as much danger.
Yeah…besides the very real dangers of Black Friday, there’s the disgusting display of mindless human greed for paltry objects. Some people cast aside the little humanity they have and dive in to the fray with a gleeful rabid rage. It brings to mind visions of true human desperation and need for basic but ultimately the most important of tangible items for living;; shelter, water, food, medicine, means of defense, etc. Some people show the true ugly character of humanity, abandoning morals, their self-dignity, and worst of all, safety of others, the preservation of human life, something that we are taught and instinctively know to be of utmost value. It’s like watching a crowd of the scrambling dying, only an utter mockery of it. It’s a true vision of hell. Happy Thanksgiving…😞
All black friday sales are the same sales you find throughout the year, just all thrown into one day. The whole idea of black friday is just dumb and it's too overrated.
When your passengers are all asleep and some snoring, it’s very hard for the driver not to fall asleep, it happened to me, I woke up on the PA Turnpike inches away from the guard rail, so, he should of pulled over and stretched a little bit, breath the air, do jumping Jax, what have you. This helps, I’m a former trucker so I know a few things about this.
The day after recognizing a ‘day of giving thanks’ and showing gratitude and love... let’s act like unleashed animals, go spend money on crap we don’t need, and trample the sh*t out of people. Good job 👍
I find it quite disgusting that customers get this greedy and desperate for things they don't need to such an extent they end up killing and injuring others.
Most do, just check the price history online and you'll see they usually ramp the price up in the summer so they can "discount it" at Black Friday time.
I never shop black Friday but always had to work it since I work retail. Those big TVs and consoles they only keep a couple on hand on purpose just to get ppl in the store even though they have 4 tvs that's it for hundreds of ppl. It's not much savings as well. But ppl are crazy on black Friday. And honestly if ppl got trampled and squashed at a concert, it's going to happen black Friday.
Agreed
Yes, agreed. The weird thing is that here in the Netherlands, thanksgiving is not celebrated, but 99% of the shops have ‘adopted Black Friday. I’m staying home and away from the net tomorrow.
that is so sad, pagans believe in being thankful too right? IDK actually, but I think being grateful is a good daily concept! So for the masses ,hey at least one day, is a step in the right direction! I hate the commercialism also, so christmas ugh. But thanksgiving , why not?! You wont catch me out shopping black friday sales either tho! Either way I sincerely hope you have something good in your life during this time!
Except thanksgiving is not a religious holiday. A pagan should know such things.
@@LiquidShivaz i dont know why the world is starting to do black friday, these are tragic stories but most people i know and many americans do not go or enjoy black friday, its better to buy stuff online then go to filled store full of crazy people

I'm honestly ashamed to be a human, this level of greed and selfishness is absolutely disgusting.
I was thinking of going to Kohl's tomorrow but after watching this, I'll be ordering online.
just order online, no lines, same discount, safe at home.
Cyber Monday!

I bet she severely regrets her life choices. Was that bottle of lotion really worth a bad record? I'm so glad you're okay and didn't become a statistic
Nope! Not me! Staying my butt home! Not in the mood to get trampled over an inanimate object! Thank goodness for Amazon!🙏🏻🤷♀️

I finished all your vids. Please create more, I like your way of story telling, idky but youre very easy to pay attention to even though I usually have a hard time focusing. Never thought I would find black Friday tragedies interesting but you make me want to listen somehow.
You have a bright future ahead of you by the way you deliver your content. You seem down to earth.
And for those of you who live inside the United States but have been living under a rock you have a great sense of humor.
My Administrstion of Justice professor was the homicide detective in charge of investigating the shooting at the Toys R Us. He showed us the pictures of the crime scene. It's insane how no one else was hurt. One suspect was shot in between the eyes and the other on his side. Tragic.
I’ve never gone Black Friday shopping in my 29 years of life on this planet. I also grew up watching the news where mom’s beat the shit out of each other for a cabbage patch kids doll in the 90’s. Screw that!
Soon as I got the notification I clicked so fast 🤣 love this channel to pieces … I remember being about 19 when the first story happened in Long Island … it was a huge story here in nyc at that time .. we hadn’t heard anything like that before it was veryyy disgusting and unnecessary… from there I knew I’d participate in cyber Monday every year and never Black Friday …
I did get into a fist fight at a toys r us before in nyc back in like 2014 just before Xmas .. not one of my proudest moments but glad I didn’t go to jail
Hands down the best channel on UA-cam! ..lot's of luv from Australia 💜🇦🇺
Every spot on this list is a new reason to cancel this awful "holiday".

I hate shopping at the best of times, so this looks my idea of hell. A dire amalgamation of capitalism and materialism plus a nagging fear of if you're not there you're missing out. I'll just stay home and order online thanks, lol.
FOMO
I'm with you 100% here. It makes no sense for me to have to drag my ass out of bed before the sun is up. Stand in line with people that want to rip your eyes out over a Tickle Me Elmo for the brat ass kids they have that won't stop screaming in line right in front of you (reality the loudest kid is 5 inches from your face in it's moms arms because the dad is an asshole and wouldn't watch the asshats so this mom could shop in peace). So mom is ready to take her poor life choices out on every person that comes near when the Wal-Mart doors bust open.
Hell No! Cancel Black Friday already! Everything they have on sale is going to be on sale for the cyber day.
Yeah Black Friday is online too
Been Black Friday shopping for about 15 years. Missed this year because I had wrist surgery last week.
Never had any troubles with wild people, but maybe that’s because the biggest city I’ve ever shopped in was Milwaukee.
Darn it’s stories like this that make me proud to be Canadian, we have Black Friday too, but the worst things that happen on Black Friday usually for us, is someone will take your spot in line.
Would you please do a full video on the wrong person being shot and killed. @dire trip
It amazes me how the stores only close for a couple of hours. I guess money to be made can't wait. I use to work in retail and before the holiday if a toy said 30% off once rang up basically they only got a discount on the taxes not the item itself. Not only seeing it for myself the supervisor also told us in meetings with management before the black Friday sale
I also came to say this if somebody hadn't. glad you did :) happy holidays!
@@amandabrown449 THANK YOU! i live in Helena which is right beside hoover, i had multiple friends who were there at the time it took place. this shooting made me realize how quick something could go wrong
@amandabrown449 they took "protect & serve" off the cruisers tho, so it looks like that's no longer their mandate. 🫤
FANTASTIC idea for a video. people can be so horrifying for the dumbest reasons. i'm glad to live in my humble, quiet little northern state.
The only time I went Black Friday shopping is when Tekken 7 and Injustice 2 where somewhat new. The GameStop I went to was pretty chill, even held a conversation with a guy in line.

I was thinking of doing black Friday for first time tomorrow. Reconsidering.
Don't do it. people may be packing heat these days.
@@truth4004 really the first two black Friday events at local Walmart weren't big deal from what I heard. They broke it into several weeks instead of one. Plus not a big city. Really just want a projector they have on sale for movie nights with friend.

This is depressing. Is it really worth it? 🤔 Just seeing the stampede to get into a store was scary enough. Arguing over a parking space is ludicrous. For what? Nothing in these stores is worth risking any of the events in this video.
Congrats on 100k my friend well deserved. Videos like these make me want to just wait til cyber Monday😂
Ugh. Black Friday.... I do think online shopping has lessened the stress and effects, but it's nothing I want to experience! Great idea for a video, TFS 😊♥️
I don't celebrate Christmas or Thanksgiving but my children do and I hang a tree upside down for them and decorated with eyeballs. No they're not completely traumatized they enjoy it. But my oldest went with her dad to a Black Friday once and they were trampled in Texas. They came out with just scrapes and bruises but it was crazy! It's like people these are just material things!!!!

The day after recognizing a ‘day of giving thanks’ and showing gratitude and love... let’s act like unleashed animals, go spend money on crap we don’t need, and trample the sh*t out of people. Good job 👍
We all know most people just celebrate Thanksgiving for the big meal, not showing gratitude and love lmaoooo
I find it quite disgusting that customers get this greedy and desperate for things they don't need to such an extent they end up killing and injuring others.
I always wondered if they don't raise the prices first, prior to giving a "discount".
Most do, just check the price history online and you'll see they usually ramp the price up in the summer so they can "discount it" at Black Friday time.
What is wrong with Americans 🤣
they first time see discounts

I never shop black Friday but always had to work it since I work retail. Those big TVs and consoles they only keep a couple on hand on purpose just to get ppl in the store even though they have 4 tvs that's it for hundreds of ppl. It's not much savings as well. But ppl are crazy on black Friday. And honestly if ppl got trampled and squashed at a concert, it's going to happen black Friday. Also more thefts and retail thefts that's been happening here in Cali. It's going to be bad, hopefully they step up the safety factor this year

With only 3 months into the job I was one who was made to work Black Friday.
I saw old women become the dirtiest boxers in history, snatching toys FROM THE HANDS OF CHILDREN. Mothers getting into slap fights with everybody, while the Fathers act like linebackers to shove their way to anything not stapled down.
