Awesome breakdown of your cherry picking video, I live in West LA and I get bombarded with small trips around town, thank you for showing your patience in cherry picking. I was curious to know if you could show us or tell us how long you waited between each ride. On the weekends in LA I'm getting much better cherry picking my rides but it do struggle on other days Monday thru Thursday. I do well cherry picking during morning rush hour times but in the afternoon thats when I struggle. I get impatient waiting for rides, that's why I was curious to know the wait time in between your rides. Thanks again for your help on maximizing Uber.
I'll make a video on this great question... Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, I don't do much cherry picking from 1pm to 4pm. I'll work on my youtube channel from my car and try to be in long Beach or Newport Beach or Laguna Beach or Dana Point and John Wayne airport is Awsome because of traffic and I go against traffic or wait at airport and work on UA-cam...
It's definitely hard to cherry pick in Miami market.You literally have less than a second on trip to choose. These drivers take any garbage Uber dishes out.But I still try anyways.
Very true, but find hot spots only you know, like drive around airports while they wait inside the que... or an event or where travelers are or rich neighborhoods and take notes and create a route 🤔 park wait 10 min move 10 miles 🤔 wait and move to 🔥 Hot Spot after hot spot and you will have a great routine 😉

Hello! I’m in a small town in Texas and I don’t see any of this. $4 base pay it seems around town. But I am on a promotion that pays more if I do more rides. It is interesting to see how the big City works.

From 2020 to 2021, I drove in all these areas of Southern California. I lived in Riverside and picked the rides from Riverside county, San Bernardino County, Orange county, LA county etc.
I moved to Texas in 2022.

You got it, and Mt friend Jacob makes $500 a day in Dallas on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 3 pm to 3am...
@ridexserve that's nice. I'm in Houston. In Houston, Uber/Lyft don't pay good specifically on long rides.
Long rides got a cut in La also $34 for Uber XL for 34 miles arg.. used to be $72
@ridexserve yes same here in Houston. I stay locally & prefer to take short rides.
I try to take a long ride out in the morning and then slowly work my way back home.That wayou can make almost three hundred dollars in a day. But I put it in a good fifteen hours on that day.

No way we get those here also, but I cherry pick all day...
thx for the video here in canada if our pickup rate is below 80% we don't see where the customer is going and how much were getting paid
No way I didn't know that uber used to do that to us but once we got up front pricing that only happens once in a while...
We only get times here.... and if you're under 85% you don't see the trip duration only how far to them. I've had to kick people out of my vehicle before because, no not going there sorry. Makes me feel like such an asshole.
Text the customer right when you get the ride or call them so you can plan ahead 😉 I used to do that when we did not have destination address or lock doors lower window and ask before they get in car and you cancel the trip.... hope that helps and work on passive income

Yes if you engage with the customer and make it about them there is a 50% chance that you will get a tip and in the situation where the customer doesn't want to talk if you are quiet and you greet them well and you wish them well when they leave the car there is a 50% chance that you can get a tip. The more you drive, the more your intuition will kick in, and your experience will turn into knowledge, which turns into wisdom.
Do you start at the same time every day or does it depend how the surges are looking?
It depends... On tuesday wednesday and thursday I try to get out by six or six thirty in the morning... Friday Saturday, Sunday and Monday.I try to get out at 4:30 in the morning.If possible but if I miss it, it's okay.Because those days tend to be busy sometimes I will get out around seven in the morning... When I wake up in the morning I will check if it's surging... Most of the time it is not...
