Bro im coming to los angeles next week how can I be in your WhatsApp group?
Where do you go to see the drive hours? I go to my earnings report and I can see the online hours and the active hours, but I don’t see anything for drive hours My understanding is the online hours means the amount of time that the actual app is on whether you’re sitting on your couch or laying in bed or driving with or without somebody in the car Active hours means the amount of time the app is on BUT the car is moving whether or not there’s a passenger in it or you’re driving around looking for a better position … I guess my point is the app is on and the car is moving at the same time So what would be the difference between Drive hours and active hours?

@@ridexserve 👍
I figured I'd just make a video and show you because it's hard to find as you can see it's hidden and only you can get to it if the app is on.
@@ridexserve thanks I appreciate it… I actually knew about that as I always keep track of my drive time for the day. I just thought for some reason it was a different thing you were talking about. When I am going for the most money that I can make in one day and I don’t care how long I’m out of the house I will limit the amount of time that I drive without somebody in the car… So if I want to drive to a location to reposition myself I will actually turn the app off, so I don’t run down that clock and lose the opportunity to catch a ride in that time and I have more time to ride throughout the day… I hope that made sense😂
Well done. This has been a source of confusion for me for since the beginning, But you explained this at the University Level!! Thanks for clearing this prop 22 mess up. 👍

What is your gross net each day after gas deduction? What is your net each month, after all deductions ie/ gas, repairs, maintaining your vehicle (oil changes etc)?
A lot
Great job 👏🏼 What’s with the passenger side headrest missing? Is that just for your videos, your blind spot or 🤷🏻🤪 Let’s see some more videos and tips- appreciate your positivity as usual. Trying to figure out why you’re driving X when you qualify for comfort and XL?
Head rest makes better passenger experience
Got it video on tips and tit's coming and regarding Uber x vs. Uber xl. The algorithm is racist lol 😆 meaning you have to be in a hot spot or no XL rides, so I have to use Uber x till I am at a better location 😅 I'll in the boonies
Amazing content thank you! Regarding the breakdown of the times you maneuver yourself during the course of any given day and the reasons why is a huge help to me and makes things a lot more sensible. Keep it up !!!! I'm always looking forward to your content and I'm always learning something new every single time. Very appreciative!
Absolutely! You, my brother, from another mother 👩 and let’s get lunch soon
Outstanding work, Ahmed. You knocked this video right out of the park. It's as if you went to UCLA film school for an intensive 3-day workshop and this is the result. Just the fact you freed up your hands makes a HUGE difference. The bright orange shirt was a nice touch, too. Perfectly matches your channel's colors and looks good here.
Mike, thank you, and you are one of the first people who subscribed and motivated me to keep creating content. Thank you for asking great questions.
Good content bro 😎
Blessed 🙌 thank you
In episode 4 of 'YOU ASKED, I ANSWERED' series, I answered some of the most common questions about driving for Uber in the rideshare industry. From why people choose to drive with Uber, Lyft and DoorDash, to the best times for hitting the road for maximum earnings. I also share some valuable tips on using the destination mode feature in the Uber driver app to make your drives more efficient. Plus, don't miss out on a funny comment from Facebook that lightens the mood! I will alco talk about some tough feedback about the impact of driving on personal health and my car, discuss the reality of driving up to 90 hours a week, and I'll share my thoughts on maintaining a good acceptance rate. To wrap up, a personal reminder from my mom about keeping it clean on camera! Join me as we explore the ins and outs of rideshare driving. Wait, it went up what's this about? How's this a problem? Can the customer increase their tip?
It turns out if you have a great conversation with the customer instead of the generic tip they can change it and give you a bigger amount
San Diego here, love your teachings brother, I've been told by an Uber rep months ago over the phone that i wasn't getting rides cuz my acceptance rate was low, I think Uber throttles you but you and others seem to not be so I'm unsure , any input?
Don't listen or believe anything that the Uber reps tell you they are from another country and they don't even use the Uber driver app. My acceptance rate is very low and I have no issues making $1,500 a week on top of that my cancellation rate is okay but I have heard of people who have a very high cancellation rate and they do just fine. I choose to keep my cancellation rate around 5%, but my acceptance rate is very low maybe around 25%. That's because I cherry pick. The key is you want to learn to cherry pick and you want to understand a hot locations as well as the best times to drive. One of my playlists has over 200 videos start watching and study it like as if you were in college trying to get a PhD. And keep asking great questions.
I'm new but I'm looking at the miles vs $, if it's under a $1 per mile my fuel costs eat up profit. I've only watched a couple of your videos but I haven't heard anything about fuel consideration. Especially at over $5 a gallon.
Don't worry too much about $1 per mile but think of it as an average sometimes you will make 80 cents per mile sometimes you will make $2 per mile and if you cherry pick properly you can make around $8 per mile the key here is you have to practice and understand the algorithm I have uploaded a playlist with over 200 videos start watching them and you will learn everything because I don't hold back and welcome to the channel
How many miles are on your car? What's your next car? You should check out the Toyota Sienna hybrid its eligible for xl, x and comfort plus gets 35+ mpg
I have around 270,000 miles on my car and all thanks to Uber in the last 3 years as far as my next car I am thinking about getting a Toyota Prius or a Tesla just kidding the part about Tesla. And yes the van you mentioned is very good unfortunately I want to get a Prius because it does amazing gas mileage and I love Toyotas.
How do you have enough time to write all that and still do rides? If I’d be writing after every ride I’d be lucky to do one or maybe two rides an hour and my $/hr would be pretty low.
I take around 3 passengers and try to get the $50 and then take a break if it's hot and busy then I'll do five passengers and around $125 I'll take a break. When I take my breaks I work and I sometimes I end up at the airport and waiting at the queue allows me an hour to do the work.
It’s not communism. It’s called capitalism. Earn the most money while paying the lowest costs.
You are correct I knew I was using wrong words
More like corporatism.
Lol
What is the telegram chat for Los Angeles
I have what's app not telegram
😊😊😊
🙏
Those are rookie numbers. You need to get them way up. My acceptance rate is 4% and my cancellation rate is 83%. I’m not playing.
God dam
@@ridexserve 😂😂😂. Last night I hit 10,000 lifetime Uber trips (2800 on Lyft). I’ve become very selective in my trips. Sometimes when Uber is just pinging trash, I constantly hit the X and yell FUCK YOU at my phone lol
That is hilarious and I agree with you but instead of saying the f word I say hell no Uber isn't it weird how we are always talking to the algorithm.
@@ridexserve thar’s because they are spying on us through our phones. 😂😂😂

I just had two rides for JSX passengers and they paid well and tipped well!

@ridexserve It's the electric daisy carnival. An electronic music festival. I was wondering if anyone else was working it this year. And if there was any strategy to going back and forth from the motor speedway to the strip.
Don’t

You need commercial insurance to drive on UBER Black Platforms. It is about $1,200 a month. But UBER Black still takes out for their own commercial insurance on every ride.
Thank you. That is great info for my channel, and I will update on the next faq video
This was actually a pretty dope Q&A. You're living my dream. I want a 5th wheel and a F350.
Yeah bro it's a fun and free lifestyle and lots of nature hikes lol
LMAOOOOOOOOO!! You got a damn 1-star!! Man, I'm dying laughing. That shit is funny. I got a 1-star too. I think the app does that to make us think we gotta TRY HARDER because we're not 5 star. It means NOTHING to the pay we get, honestly. I think it's mind control to make sure drivers aren't 5-star when a driver is SMART and makes money. They punish you for cherry-picking and go, "...give him a 1-star to make him take more rides to get up to 5-star again. Nice hit on the HUM piece, brotha!
I got your back on hum and private rides 😏 it's a marathon
@@ridexserve We will keep the pressure on the industry to make it right for DRIVERS, as we are the true WHEELS that make things happen. All of these tech heads think they're worth more than the car that's taking people places. Tech gets a FINDER'S FEE, and that should be it. Instead, they're taking half (or more) of the transaction as if they're entitled to it.
Hum is one solution, and private rides are another...
RIGHT!!! $4k to $5k per month for AUTO INSURANCE??? This shit is as RACKET!!! We all see it, brotha. I'm glad you're speaking on it.
Greedy corporations
How does a driver work 96 hours when the app doesn’t let you work over 12 hrs a day?
You can have the app on technically for 24 hours a day… You can only be driving for 12 hours before you need a six hour break… For example, if you turn on the app and drive down the road 10 minutes before you get a ride from somebody you have 11 hours and 50 minutes left to drive… so if the app is on and you are driving, whether you have a passenger in the car or just driving around looking for a ride, the clock is winding down so I usually try to park in one spot without moving while waiting for my ride instead of driving around wasting gas… there are times when I relocating to a new spot from where I don’t want to be at I will turn the app off until I get to somewhere else. Hope that helps
Uber driver chat got back to you. Thanks bro... I just sit and work in my car.
Dude, right on. Thank you 😊

Thank you brother 🙏 you are helping me grow on UA-cam, and I will always be great full
ScrUber always screws us
Scruber needs to be a shirt 👕
what is the lowest per mile amount that you are willing to accept?
It all depends on the day the time and the location I'm at. Sometimes I will go under a dollar a mile but most of the time I try to get $2 a mile or $3 a mile.
97 hours. Omg these are too many hours. How do you manage to drive too much. I remember when I drove uber/lyft in Southern California two years ago. Traffic was worst. I lived in Riverside. Traffic was really bad on freeway "91" on way back home.
I just sit and work on my UA-cam channel respond to comments and grow my business and thanks to Uber I'm making money on UA-cam now.
Wow, long wait

Hello! I’m in a small town in Texas and I don’t see any of this. $4 base pay it seems around town. But I am on a promotion that pays more if I do more rides. It is interesting to see how the big City works.
Oh wow! My humble advice figure out something else that generates you passive income and use Uber as a bandage
Uber is horrible. I used to work in nyc . Most I made was 3300 in a week. The thing is you have to divide your total earnings by the hours you worked meaning online time. Plus depreciation , gas , insurance , miscellaneous.. turns out to be around 15-25 hour
More like $10 an hour
Do you take the toll roads when going from Dana Point back to John Wayne or do you take the 405 back up?
405 or 5 freeway
