I am so glad there is someone out here giving deepvocal the love it deserves . As my vocal synth fixation returns I'm wanting to bring Mireya back as I don't wish for her to fall into obscurity like many voicebanks i love so dearly , so to know that folks still actively use the program inspires me so much !
Timbre is the pitch selection (idk how to decribe it) so if you have a power pitch and a normal pitch (lets say power is higher and normal is lower) if you want to have the lower notes to have power, select the second timbre.
Hi! Thanks for this tutorial. I'm exploring UTAU and other alternatives to create a virtual singer as well. Question: Is the voice you use for the narration alongside your character (or sona, I think!) in this video also made with Deepvocal?
no problem! to answer your question, the voice wasnt done in deepvocal. it was just one of the free text to speech modules on capcut lol. i don't think deepvocal is very capable of simulating english speech (and if it was, i wouldn't know how to do it 💀)
I dragged a voicebank's zip files and extracted them, they're in the singers folder. however, they are not showing up in deepvocal. Do you have any ideas on why this is happening?
which voicebank did you download? if they weren't a deepovcal-specific vb then that might be what's happening. if not, that's really strange. i played around a little bit with one of my voicebanks to try and identify the problem, and the only thing that made the singer disappear within the program was taking out the voice/sksd file. check the voicebank's folder to see if anything got misplaced/is missing maybe?
I’m having trouble on the ust/vst/sv thing. I converted the file to DV but when I open the file the notes don’t show up. It shows the name of the file on the part though. Is there something I missed?
that's really strange. sometimes i've found that really old files don't convert properly which might be what you're experiencing? you can usually tell if that happens during the conversion process. there'll be a notice at the bottom of one of the pages that says there aren't any tempo markers (or something similar to that). if there's another file for the song you're looking for i reccomend downloading that and giving it a try as well

it's been a while since I had come across a video about Deepvocal. I remember learning how to make a DV voicebank through HitCoder's 2019 video :DDD!

Thanks! I never noticed these parameters like gender and others lol
making my deep vocal voice bank was a pain 😭😭 but i lowkey like deep vocals engine, it sounds clean!

does anyone knows how to make a voicebank for deepvocal?

@lyelyre oh, I figured it out already. My voicebank had folders inside folders. It's all good now, but thank you!
