She didn’t want to because allegedly the parents of the child were the superintendent and mayor of the city. The principal served as the mayor’s campaign manager for his reelection.
DCP&P don't do anything anyways! They pick and chose who they want to respond to. Someone at DCP&P ignored my call about assault on minors. The man taking the report told me they couldn't do anything because the children were no longer in the home. I took the child with me and called DCP&P right away. Its not like the child was out of the home for days, not even hours. Mandated reporters, Police and DCP&P ignore Children claims of abuse, that's why these children/Teens are running around harming each other in the streets. They rather be outside taking their anger out on others, rather than being at home being abused and ignored.
@@JV-NY987 The problem is, Most don't take the step to even investigate the incidents. I've made many calls for Police and DCP&P to investigate allegations of physical and $xual a$$ault against a minors. I work in the social service and mental health field. I see many co workers who ignore the allegations, because they don't want to "get caught up in all of that".
Shes a mandated reporter how did she pass the test but yet failed to do the right thing so if she went to the home confronted them they got upset and something crazy happened then what she just jeopardized that childs safety or even worse what if the child got scared and ended hurting the parents or whomever
Don't forget a few yrs back when Laquetta Small had her cousin working in the schools and living with her while being inappropriate with little kids. Or a few months ago when she parked in a handicap spot and acted like the victim. Lock them up
Maybe she wanted to investigate herself if everything the student told her was true before reporting it. The student should have also told someone else about what was going on. The principal can’t be held responsible for all her students, there are principals/teachers that do worse things some of them just don’t get caught. I can definitely see both sides to this story but I don’t think she should be charged for this cause it wasn’t really a crime. I do sympathize with the student and the principal should face some consequences but charging her for something like this is a bit much in my opinion.
You should always believe the child. That’s not her job to investigate if it’s true or not. That’s the police job. She’s a mandated reporter. She’s suppose to call the police.
You are 10000% WRONG!! the law states in no uncertain terms that if a student brings abuse to the attention of a school official they are to go directly to official government agents. No questions...no making up your own decision...DO NOT PASS GO..that is why you are not in this position.
She should have called the police!

Their main job is to keep the child with the family. Cant just remove child without following the steps

That's a lack of leadership if that is true
Mandated reporter thats on her..
They set her up, they white balled her out😂
How would they set her up? She didn’t report it.
Set up. She failed to report child abuse for political purposes.
