That was exactly my thought. I have PTSD and can’t handle loud popping noises (like balloons popping for example) and if she purposely did something to make loud noises I would have flipped her off and walked off stage.

I went to her show once- oddly enough it was her 1000’s show ( so we ended up with some great swag ). Even being we had no idea at the time it was the 1000 show. Whatever else might be said about this, Channing Tatum did not appear to me to be especially bothered. Real fear of the kind experienced in very threatening situations would have had the guest getting up and running for their lives. As for Ellen being horrible or scary, she's always been easy to watch and listen to - quite a soft toy for a TV presenter. Scary with a doll? Not convinced. Quite a lot of people have never experienced real fear and go to water completely when they do. That's not happening here. And I wanted clarify one thing from my comment, I was hinting at cultural acceptance for that slogan “No means No” when it's a woman saying it to man, but often neglects to extend the same courtesy to men. If you've ever seen the social experiments, you know in the first try men seemingly abuse women in public to gauge people's reactions, and then on the second go women abuse men in the same settings. You might've noticed there's always a disparity in how people react, if they do at all and the intensity of their interventions when the male is the victim.
So my intent was merely to point out the hypocrisy in the cultural perception of what is acceptable in terms of gender equality.

I got home late a couple of months ago and saw a shadow on the door across the room. As I cautiously investigated my fear was confirmed... huntsman spider. A very dark coloured one that was large sized. I was about to get the spray and fly swatter when it saw me and compressed its body against the door it was on then sprang right off the wall towards me!!! I nearly died! I ran for the spray keeping my eye on it and began spraying it as soon as I had the can in my hand moving forward to close in on it.... and it started trying to get away.... it ended up going under the door into a bedroom so I sprayed along the whole door frame and under the bottom in particular. The body was found the next day. That's what they get if they try to enter my space!!!!!

But they tell their fears to someone ahead of time, so maybe don’t go on Ellen?
Ever since I saw her the first time i thought she seemed like a cold and unlikeable person. I don't get how people found her endearing.

(though I did feel bad for Channing Tatum as Ellen relentlessly tormented him......I have some serious phobias and would FREAK out if confronted with something like, say a tarantula (supposedly harmless, but nonetheless, huge and ugly and terrifying!!) I've had people persistently try to "de-sensitize" me to a fear by exposure to that fear......it's not for this gal ❣😆😉😊 ❤
