45 meter benneti yacht was not sinking
there was water entering the beachclub and
the crew could not close the transom door .
the yacht was then towed to a port to be
repaired end of story nothing happened
really, although the crew should have been
able to close the door even if the hydraulics
failed so somebody is gonna pay for this
incident either crew or shipyard
It does however beg the question. Why did they open it in the 1st place? To be certified compliant for insurance that portal must have manual dogs.
To late now damge done 😂
@@fredjones7705Maybe because the owner want to use the beachclub?😅
@@famaccount479 Probably but the Captain decides such matters and opening a transom door while underway could well void your insurance. You just don't do it.
@@fredjones7705 They are anchored, don't you see?
The transom door won't even open underway.
This happened off Washington coast and was towed to harbor and did not sink.
The Washington coast is fucking beautiful... I've never been, but 1 day I'm definitely checking out the Washington and Oregon coast
Better to have your hydraulics working. And in case of failure, with an important system like the transom door, there should be a manual override.
No kidding it is pretty ridiculous
Just having a manual emergency override is not enough. You must be sure that the crew knows how to work it.
It's water tight so let it ride
Agreed, a serious shortcoming in the design.
Oh yeah I’ll just step onto the water and lift the door myself
Fun Fact : there are more planes in the ocean than there are boats in the sky.
So, I assume you don't count life rafts as boats then.
there are over 400 shipwrecks in the lake i live on alone. And i'm talking ships, not small craft.
It is estimated that there are over 6,000 shipwrecks in the lakes, some dating back as far as the 17th century.
these range from 1,773 GRT steamers, to 13,632 GRT lake water freighters.
People just underestimate the lake when it starts throwing 30' wave at you.
Don't recommend this channel, just for the song
Betten than "Yo-ho all hands" all the time.
its just as bad@@omegasail9299
It is not sinking. Only some dufus did not close the beachclub door. Possible troubles with hydraulics. Because of that reason, the beachclub is watertight, and closed off from the rest of the ship by watertight door.
agreed, however that door in the watertight bulkhead can be left open open allowing water to enter the engineroom, thus potentially disabling pumps and power etc etc. one issue leads to another 😉
@@reighbh13
Get a grip matey.
If the door in the watertight bulkhead AND the transom door was open it would be all over in seconds.
It is clearly obvious - or should be - that water in the transom area is sloshing back and forth.
Clickbait b.s.
I have no knowledge of this particular type but it would be reasonable to assume that there is an interlock involving the two doors i.e. the transom would not unlock unless the bulkhead door was electronically confirmed closed.
So why are the life rafts in the water
@@hyltonleaf-wright4298 a precaution?
@@hyltonleaf-wright4298Because people tend to panic in reasonable situations.
When you don’t have the money to pay the insurance
True😂😂😂

He's talking about insurance fraud. 😂

Former captain currently applying for position as walmart greeter.
When he left home that morning, he said honey. You feed the dog and I’ll feed the fish.
I believe that in the life of a person who has a yacht there are two moments of true happiness: 1- When he buys it and... 2- When he sells it.
Due credit to the late comedian Jackie Mason for this line.
Modern boats and ships don't sink anymore. We are not living in the Titanic era.
Can't believe this boats still sinking 😂 well built
Some dude spent $10 million on that yacht only for it to sink
More than that probably
Maybe they requested the captain if they can swim inside the yatch😅
@@sn3akybm65Nope
@@enxvj3407nah it’s def more than ten mil
WAY more than that
This is so stupid. As someone who can sail I know for a FACT it is not sinking.
Ok, so how do you know the other side of the boat hasn’t sprung a leak leading to a electronic shortcut making the bilgepumps umfunctional?
Maybe the boat isn’t sinking anymore due to rescue but it could have sunk if no one was around. You never know the fullstory why a boat might be In trouble
@@nicksnerotw5925 because I can sail and it’s just waves flowing into the boat??? Boi stop acting like you know what ur talking about abt
It is sinking do you have eyes
@@Leaveplz ah ok, we have a someone who can xray the boat on a video with his eyes just because he can sail.
And yes, I know what I am taking about, I have seen a sinking boat with my own eyes
@@nicksnerotw5925 first of all, I’m note woke but I am a girl not a boy, and it’s just waves flowing into the deck, however, it is true we don’t know the full story
Enjoying all the comments from people who wish they were rich enough to have this problem. 😅 jealousy is such a vulgar quality.
As is being condescending and critical? Oh well good thing we aren’t all perfect.
NGL, this first Nijisanji vlog is kinda bizarre
You can see the stern lines are tied to the transom door so they obviously tried to close it with the lines running back to the stern winches. Obviously with no luck.. oh dear not much fun !!
The insurance company “YOU DID WHAT”
Why don’t they just put the sails out and go back to shore? Did Ginger and MaryAnn make it to the life raft?
Motor vessel has no sails
@@ronaldgamber1473 WOOSH.
Wasn't sinking? Why deploy the life rafts then? They don't go back in the box.
Panic? No one was in the life rafts though.
Protocol mate. If its going to sink, it may do so extremely quickly. This is a reason why many liferafts have hydrostatic release mechanisms that actually auto release when the ship sinks.
The ship should have further water tight bulkheads internally to stop or slow the water ingress, if lucky, the engine room is not flooded.
meh. just buy new ones and let the old ones go. The ocean will dispose of them.
-the owner.
Boats are great at boat shows where you can dream of an adventurous life whilst on stilts 20’ in the air.
NijiEN rn:
If you close the door and scoop out the water, does it float again?
I think theyre a bit late
Yes it would with bilge pumps on max or pretty much gain time to save it ,but there's a catch 😅 It won't pay out insurance premiums
Yes. The boat was towed to port and rescued. Nothing happened.
Yes, until you use it again. They'll say it's fixed but it's a design flaw
"The pumps buy you time. But minutes only..."
How exactly do you sink a Mega Yacht ?
The Ocean ( Sea ) is rebellious, and fiercely competitive 😮 Cruise Ships and Shipping Vessels have Struggled Against Ferocity
"mega"yacht 😂😂😂😂 nothing there is "mega"
what colour is your yacht?
Some insurance company is bleeding somewhere
And not a single F was given....
Like the MS estonia , this is what happened when the tender door is open!
True
Not called the tender door but whatever
@@Mr.RandomContent its in different languages mate
They let the water in to steady the ship .no damage is done .
Who forgot the plug?
I think it was me the last day when I was trying to install the sea water sink, sorry
That's not a canoe !
The beauty of sinking......
Flooded engine compartment. Sits in repair at New Westminster B.C now.
More money than brains. Got it 👍 😂
Guy already has life boats deployed. 😅
You can't park there just to let you know 😂
Made my day! Thanks
Better than my brother. He was on charter somewhere in Mexico with the owner and his wife and they went jet skiing and wound up drowning. He lost his job that afternoon.
Some people just don’t realize how important the bilge plug is
That's two different things the bilge pump and drain plug which it doesn't have it'd be more like an access hatch
What has a bilge plug to do with this short?
Mega yeet 👌
When you can't make the payments Sink It
Thats not sinking at all
...
That is killing my heart!!!
I guess mr crabs ordered a new yacht😂
That ship is not sinking that bay is meant to allow water. Should it be closed? I'd say yes , but sinking it is not.
I guess someone forgot to smash the wine bottle on there
I have a feeling it takes A LOT to sink one of these.
😂😂😂😂 Dépenser des millions, et à la final.. !!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Must be havin a quickie
Un genio de capitán
Die hätten sich lieber ein U- Boot anschaffen sollen.
⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️✌️✌️👏👏👏
Somebody pushed the PANIC button REAL QUICK... LIFE RAFTS OUT!!! 🤣🤣🤣
As soon as I saw this I thought the same as others, beach club flooded, boat is fine
I really don't think it is actually sinking. It looks like something is being disabled for a reason.
Disclaimer: I'm no yacht doctor
yes yes yes :D
Ohh no😅
Looks like someone couldn't afford the yacht anymore and his insurance premium was all paid up
I smell insurance claim in 3 ,2 , go
Owner dipped on the rib and left the crew with rafts
The garage is sealed from the boat so it can fill and not sink the engineers aren’t that stupid.
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮O my god!
There is just a bird floating in the sky😂
I misread the name of the ship, I momentarily thought it was called the "damsel" lol
I scuba dived to the wreckage on the bottom of sea it was crazy
why is there not a safety device like a life jacket for the boats ships etc activated if they take on water so atleast the vessel does not sink i imagine its not very hard to do 😊
Неужели ни кто не заметил хвост акулы, попавшей на яхту?😂
Close therear door, what have in Head?
Well did it sink??
I think there is good insurance there for two new yachts)))
You would be amazed @ just how many mega yachts,& etc. R NOT even insured.

Sinking mega yacht???
NAH this better
sinking 1 dollar Mrbeast's yacht:)))))))
Again an Italian yacht like Bayesian
That water would have been fine just a few more feet inside. This happens a lot launching PWC's and dingy.
That is wicked cool
Bro it is ment to do that that is where the jet skis go and they need water to get out
Then why are the lifeboats deployed?
@@jdd1979Who knows. But he’s still right.
If you look a strange flag, than you know why are backdoor left open.
That ship is at least 7 million 😬
Edit: I will check the price

Yo Chichi, get the yayo!!!
It's flying the Marshallese flag!
"This yacht is gracefully submerging, you poor peasants"

During the last year alot of mega yacht have been lost in a funny way .
That's not the correct way to launch your tender lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Strange theyvdeployed rafts with water tight door in tender garage ?
Hmmmmmmm
Looks like a regular yacht, not a mega yacht. 😂
If that is a regular yacht - I am (sob) definitely not a regular person.
Looks like an insurance deal !!!!!!
Why they dropped the Raft then? If it wasn't sinking?
That's the new way to collect water for the watermakerr after you've changed all the water tanks to fuel tanks for long voyages.
C'est la faute à pas de chance 😂😂😂😂😂
These are marina queens, why is it out in the open sea?
Maybe not registered? Or insured? Not allowed in marinas. Obviously no one on board
Who never shut the back door 😅😅😅
honey, did you put the boat plug in?
Poor Rich Kid don't know how to close the back Door to his Boat.
Why aren't there air bag saving devices on the outside of boats. Where a sensor is activated inflating 4- 10 attached air ballons to stop it from sinking?
Ohh. It's only green boat
A good design would have a mechanical back up system.. Electric system do fail.. 😂😂😂
Is it a mega yacht?
Where is credit for source and timeline ?
sea salvage operation.... you keep it, once its abandoned.
That just looks like a sinking waiting to happen. Just like the ladder on a big sailboat, better not jump in without it down.
Uhhhhhh........OOPS.....?..........
