That's a pretty retro style watch you've got there. At £460 it's a refreshing change to see a new Seiko release at such a fair price too. Love that cream coloured dial also. Many thanks for the video cheers.
@@ClickSpringReview Thanks very much for the reply to my comment... A Grand! For a glorified Sumo! What are they trying to do get rich quick!! LOL they're having a laugh, I remember a few short years back you could pick up a Sumo all day long for three and a half five hundred if you were feeling particularly benevolent lol Like many things these days the country seems to have gone insane! It's certainly taking the shine off this watch collecting lark and no mistake! Still fingers crossed Mad Lizzie might reduce VAT and hopefully that'll help us a bit. I'm holding off ordering a new Sinn on the strength of that thought anyway. Again many thanks for the video enjoy your Saturday bruv. Toodle Pip!
Hi Sir this one is another fixed type of bezel so no rotation but I dare you could get a replacement Seiko may even sell different coloured one could be worth checking , You would have to remove the hole bezel and then the insert by placing it in some white spirit to soften the adhesive ,
@@ClickSpringReview Thanks. I basically need to figure out inner an outer diameters for a wide array of various watches. Isopropyl acetone or nitrocellulose are fairly “safe” chemically for softening adhesives. My main hinderance is part numbers correlating to specific cases along with measurements of the bezel/inserts, overhang, geometric design, etc. Seems like I’m better off buying parts and experimenting with figments/tolerances.
..... I have the black version and think it is a simply superb watch ..... it is a dress watch and have no idea why people keep complaining that it is not a proper diver watch and as to the complaint about the non rotating bezel , do people complain that the bezel on an Omega Speedmaster doesn't rotate ? ...... oh and they look best on leather straps ...... having drilled lugs makes changing straps a breeze ..........
Yeah, because Presage watches always have screw down crowns and 200m of water resistance! They’re dress watches not dive ones. I don’t get the criticism either.
You can wind it as much as you want , the rotor is always winding the watch and so when the spring is fully wound it just slips against the barrel wall 👍🏻
@@ClickSpringReview Ok, I don't understand what that has to do with this Seiko though? and the Omega's and Rolex fixed bezel are on there GMT's and are functional bezels as far as I know? I don't think the bezel on this Seiko serves any purpose?
It's not a dive model if you want a rotating bezel Seiko 5 are the way forward , The bezel on this model is just to add colour and somewhere for the numbers to go 👍🏻
"The u should consider the 'Seiko Presage Style60's GMT SSK009J1' for the raised format logo, but u have to pay more 🤣, then u get GMT as a complementary."
Fixed bezel, so not for me. I need something to show elapsed time, I find it super useful. Why did they mark up the bezel but fix it? Seems odd. Lovely review as always.
i really like the look, but a fixed bezel and only 50m wr makes it an aesthetic piece rather than a functional skin-diver pity, i would have picked one up if it was actually useful
Hi Christy , In all fairness its a dress watch not a diver so I wouldn't expect it to have a rotating bezel this is also reflected in its 50m WR rating , You'd be better looking at the Prospex range maybe something like the MM200
@@ClickSpringReview heh, i take the point that this is more dressy/aesthetic piece like most everything in the Presage range, but we can see a very similar design language on the Clemence you featured recently and that Photic has both the ability to dress up _and_ provide that rotating bezel functionality, so it seems an oversight that Seiko focused more on looks with this model
@@ChristyOFaghanYour right the Photic was a very nice watch and had the ability to crossover for diver to dress , this made that watch stand out to me , I think Seiko like to keep there two ranges very separate from each over , It is a shame it over has 50m of WR as I'm sure they could of gave it 100m with no real cost

Unfortunately Seiko are pushing there prices up a lot of late , The new King Sumo is over a grand here in the UK

The red bezel makes it casual as well
Nice piece
Its does have a cool colour way to it, which sets it apart from the norm
Same question as my initial comment regarding the bezel and insert…
Thanks!

Yep 100% agree with you Marcus after all its from the Presage range of watches which means the clues in the title ie its a dress watch

I just got one for myself last week.
Cool what do you think to it and do you agree with the review ?
@@ClickSpringReview yes, indeed it is a beauty.
for the manual winding mechanism can u wind it as much as you want even if the watch is still running?

are there any oftheee thqt have rotating bezel apart from that limited edition???
Cant say for sure as Seiko make more models than any other watch brand Yoshi
Incredible piece. It’s like a better looking black bay.
Its does look good thats for sure
Does anyone know the point of having a bezel that doesn't move? Is this just Seiko cutting corners/saving money?
Omega and Rolex both have fixed bezels with tachymeter's

I really wish seiko would put on the logo on the watch in its raised format rather than print it would look so much petter
I'm 50 50 on that one Antony but I see were your coming from
applied logos are definitely a welcomed addition.

The colours work well I think Robert 👍🏻

Hi Simon many bezels are marked like the speedmaster or Daytona but only diver bezels rotate or GMT ones

Seiko does the best dials!
They do have some good dials thats for sure
Hahah the best noo, but they have some
@@bking82 At the 1K and below they do have some great dial but its had to beat a good engine turned dial
