When showing the final load out you should do a pause on the whole screen for bit so we can pause and review. You have it zooming in all the time when we just need to see all the mods and stats at once. Just some constructive criticism. otherwise killer videos.

To attract viewers who want to watch them, though if we have to go through extra steps just to get an overall snapshot of the build then we’re likely to find a more user-friendly video. Don’t get me wrong. I appreciate the effort, but this platform is a give-and-take. There’s too many options to risk inconveniencing the majority of your viewers.

Protea was my main since her release. I've made so many builds for her to the point where I had to delete most of them because I couldn't use them all, lol. And a fun fact about her needing strength, I typically don't mod her for it. I use abilities/arcanes that grant me a nice chunk of strength. Molt + GP + madurai = 125% extra strength. Still an awesome build thought nonetheless. Might actually use it and tweak it to my liking once gee prime is released

If your into it, there’s another version of this build I made that can scale her turrets into level cap, instead of roar I used terrify to armor strip which makes the turrrets do 300-1m heat Dots

I was looking for a video on how to play and build protea. All the other videos didn’t get me the info I needed as I still feel super new. And way better than any websites with builds. This was perfect. Explained the mods not just for Protea but for the weapons and comps

This is intentional It's mainly for engagement and to reduce stupid comments but as someone trying to make it within the builds space, I get a lot of people who skip to the build section and just copy the build with nothing else put into it. The zooms make this less prevalent and are thus, much better for me.
@@kyaii people that only want that will take 4 screenshots instead of one, people that want all the info will watch, making it annoying for the majority isn't gonna take you further. NO other content creator does this in any game that I've watched and been watching builds for years on many games. But you do you, annoying, but still worth a watch imo, but others might not be as patient.
Relative to my older stuff I have much higher watch time on these videos during the build showcase sections... I understand that it is an inconvenience and I apologize for that but it helps me out a lot.
i liked your video, i love protea and don't see her being played that much while I see her helminth ability on every wisp x) on the build side, i use a low strenght build with her ult augment for armor strip (no helminth) i compensate the lack of strenght for my first 3 with zenurik's well, molt vigor and her passif, grenade fans are used to armor strip the whole map
6:27 when whispers in the walls drops tomorrow, overshields will not count towards your shieldgate anymore as it was unintentional. with 555 base shields you will only get a 3.36 second shieldgate. edit: 3.36 seconds with shield satellites.

Didn't mention archon shards namely Casting Speed and Energy Max to save mod space. Other than that great vid, figured our builds would be similar! Just two mods different, I have Overextended/Narrowminded in place of Umbral Intensify/Constitution. Personally I like having more Duration, still scales her damage while also being QoL not having to spam buttons quite as much. Can always use Augur Reach instead of Overextended for more strength, but I like having some extra range too.
@@hendrikmaartens4257 True my bad, you can tell I've never actually used Reach lul. With Overextended her turrets get the same 50m range as Mesa so I really like that and never changed it.

Outstanding video, this and Gara Prime especially have both been amazing videos, particularly the level of depth of explanation in the Gara Prime vid. I'm fighting with myself to just wait for Protea Prime which has to be soon after Gauss Prime; rather than spend all the time to farm Protea and all the forma just to have to start again xD
I remember when I was leveling her and I absolutely loved her playstyle... I didn't want to build her since I thought her prime wouldn't be too far away. She's amazing to play and I can't wait to play her again
I definitely like the higher production quality. Just giving credit where credit is due, I can tell you're making a deliberate effort to improve your cadence of speech. Not talking too fast, taking pauses when needed, however not breaking during the flow of information.

She's my first frame after the default one and got her from a twitch drop. Can't believe a frame from a twitch drop will be my favorite frame. I've only been playing for more than a year and she's my most used frame. I remember when we we're doing steel path survival. One is an arrogant high rank who told me to not use my turrets. I didn't and they got overwhelmed fast and two died. I used my turrets to clear and they shut up after that and used my turrets with no further objection. 😂 Still on the process of getting nautilus for cordon. I prefer playing frames vanilla save for some. Thanks for the build.

I picked up a Protea part whilst grinding for a Sister and decided to check out what she's capable of Yeah, needless to say, I'm building her after watching this
I haven't played warframe in yonks, but protea was my fav frame before the shield gate changes. Apparently the shield gate changes made her stronger somehow, absolutely nuts.
nice build. roar on protea is soo comfy something you might want to point out is to never use augur mods on her since they fuck up her extended shield gate
While not dependant on shards they do help. Hard to tell if he's using casting speed, but he is using an energy max Tau shard in the video. They mainly make it easier to not run Flow or Natural talent on the build. You also can't get Archon Vitality without having access to archon shards.
Good video although i do recommend with one final overview of proteas build before you move onto the sentinel build just in case someone needs to screenshot or isn't following the video in real time. But otherwise great video and format was amazing
Just started playing warframe again and i tried this build and it's amazing even without grouping and priming it can still do damage. Also on a side note the turrets will kill through limbos rift
Great video, although i prefer gloom over roar on her, especially after the eximus changes i definitely like the idea of roar because her pocket mesa's are just absurd even without a direct build for em as long as you just pump duration so i can imagine how they are with roar lol
Another you can do in place of roar is gloom. It isn't going to get you the damage numbers of course but with just 72% power (I've got 77% with the umbral mods, number needed may be off slightly) and using it as your 4th ability you get 95% slow on anything that comes near you. Plus the life steal on yourself and allies that are close enough. I just find it really funny to watch things moving that slow xD Roar is definitely high on my list though once I get further along in the game. Just coming back after being away for awhile.

Only format critique I have is to make sure to the full mod loadout is displayed on screen so I can more easily copy it into game from my other monitor.
The zooms are intentional though I'll consider showing just the full builds during my outro. My engagement goes up dramatically by doing this, whereas without it, people just copy builds and don't watch any of the video which is quite annoying

I didn't like protea at first. Mainly because for me her farm was worse than nearly all the other frames I farmed. I eventually got lucky enough to get her and man she is insanely good. Great video and excellent explanations!
I already considered Protea the best frame in the whole game before the shield gating changes. After? I don't even think its a competition anymore lol. I finally got your Khora build all up and running and its incredible, really helped me finally start playing on Steel Path permanently, and am excited to use this one for Protea in the future once her prime gets here. Seriously can't wait for her prime

Weird question but I’ve always wondered why Protea’s roll is that cartwheel flip, she’s the only frame that does that and she’s not a unique movement set like the float of Titania or Wisp
Yeah, style wise you probably have some of the best of the build videos I've seen that aren't jokes/memes. And it's always nice to see people saying good things about Protea, especially when we get ever closer to her prime. Fingers crossed we get the Xoris as one of the prime weapons alongside the Velox.
I don't think he's denying that Frost is strong, just saying he's mainly a 4 spammer (not really a negative when the 4 does everything besides outright kill), though his 3 can also be useful. Frost was my OG main so am very happy he got such a massive glow-up, definitely deserves a video for sure!
Very good video. Personaly I dont like warframes which cant armor strip because of level cap problems (and without roar damage numbers are not that exciting) but its probably best warframe from those not meating my conditions imo
Roar does not increase ability strength, what it does is it acts as a last multiplier of your damage on any sources of damage (idk if all of them but weapons and abilities that do damage are affecyed by roar) so it does not make all of your abilities stronger.
@@verveunknown171 403% is the power strength on Protea, NOT the actual buff. The number being displayed by Roar is the final multiplier he's talking about. So that 110% you are seeing Roar having is the final damage multiplier it is giving you. The 403% power strength referred to in the video will not directly translate to the number Roar displays because that's not how the ability scales. If your power strength was actually capping out at 110%, Roar would be displaying like 33% buff. If that makes more sense?
these do exist for very short period of time and it is intentional. Not only does it cut down on comments of people who didn't watch the video complaining but it also but it's great for engagement.. I think even DE know that base Protea is just op. That why she getting about the last prime frame for herself. Every update she getting more powerful and i just hope that DE dont nerf her. She really is my best frame
Editing was great. You are one of three warframe creators I watch (knightmare and azn) because your builds are that good. One thing I would suggest moving forward is considering circuit builds. I’m LR3 and one of the things I do to pass time is try to have a valid circuit build for most frames and a lot of these build videos require specific weapons/companions. Get rid of those requirements for a circuit build and you’re cookin’.
Great video but all you need for a SP Protea is basically, huras kubrow, equilibrium, archeon vitality. You say invisible do to huras, you use NO primary/secondary/melee, pop a distillery and/or energy pod, and only spam your turret and watch everything burn will stay invisible the whole time
@@kyaii try it, never getting hit and just sitting back and letting SP enemies just come to you or just spam the turret. I cast around 15 turrets before I need a refill on energy, but I just drop a dispensary like every 6 turrets and never really run out of energy and just move and pop a turret and never have to worry about getting downed. Also my SP preference is to stay stealthed as much as possible. My main SP build is a gloom build Loki, and just let my god tier riven build weapons do the damage
I also I'm not saying a build like the video has is bad, its great. I'm just saying there are great more simplified builds for Protea that can still wreck SP
Regarding your style of editing, i can confidently say, that while I do like some other builds more, your style ensures that the viewer understands both the most important parts of the build and the additional nice things.
To clarify, Frost is a fantastic frame considering ONLY his 4th ability, hence me calling him a one trick pony

I've only been playing for more than a year and she's my most used frame.
I remember when we we're doing steel path survival. One is an arrogant high rank who told me to not use my turrets. I didn't and they got overwhelmed fast and two died. I used my turrets to clear and they shut up after that and used my turrets with no further objection. 😂
Still on the process of getting nautilus for cordon. I prefer playing frames vanilla save for some. Thanks for the build.
I like the armor strip argument too much for me to subsume the 4. Also its pretty cool and fun

I haven't played warframe in yonks, but protea was my fav frame before the shield gate changes. Apparently the shield gate changes made her stronger somehow, absolutely nuts.

something you might want to point out is to never use augur mods on her since they fuck up her extended shield gate

While not dependant on shards they do help. Hard to tell if he's using casting speed, but he is using an energy max Tau shard in the video. They mainly make it easier to not run Flow or Natural talent on the build. You also can't get Archon Vitality without having access to archon shards.
Good video although i do recommend with one final overview of proteas build before you move onto the sentinel build just in case someone needs to screenshot or isn't following the video in real time. But otherwise great video and format was amazing
Just started playing warframe again and i tried this build and it's amazing even without grouping and priming it can still do damage. Also on a side note the turrets will kill through limbos rift
Great video, although i prefer gloom over roar on her, especially after the eximus changes i definitely like the idea of roar because her pocket mesa's are just absurd even without a direct build for em as long as you just pump duration so i can imagine how they are with roar lol
Another you can do in place of roar is gloom. It isn't going to get you the damage numbers of course but with just 72% power (I've got 77% with the umbral mods, number needed may be off slightly) and using it as your 4th ability you get 95% slow on anything that comes near you. Plus the life steal on yourself and allies that are close enough. I just find it really funny to watch things moving that slow xD Roar is definitely high on my list though once I get further along in the game. Just coming back after being away for awhile.
great video, pretty clean straight forward and detailed, bit souless compare to stream but for build video itself is far better than knightmare frame, while also easy to understand unlike aznvasion

You don't armor strip nor do you need it
Only format critique I have is to make sure to the full mod loadout is displayed on screen so I can more easily copy it into game from my other monitor.
The zooms are intentional though I'll consider showing just the full builds during my outro.
My engagement goes up dramatically by doing this, whereas without it, people just copy builds and don't watch any of the video which is quite annoying

I didn't like protea at first. Mainly because for me her farm was worse than nearly all the other frames I farmed. I eventually got lucky enough to get her and man she is insanely good. Great video and excellent explanations!

Protea wasn't affected all that much by the changes, she's still incredibly powerful
I already considered Protea the best frame in the whole game before the shield gating changes. After? I don't even think its a competition anymore lol. I finally got your Khora build all up and running and its incredible, really helped me finally start playing on Steel Path permanently, and am excited to use this one for Protea in the future once her prime gets here. Seriously can't wait for her prime

Two questions: Did you purchase the Ordis skin or was it a Twitch drop? and for the Roar + Protea passive part, I should use Roar as the 4th ability used to maximize its potential?

Weird question but I’ve always wondered why Protea’s roll is that cartwheel flip, she’s the only frame that does that and she’s not a unique movement set like the float of Titania or Wisp

Yeah, style wise you probably have some of the best of the build videos I've seen that aren't jokes/memes.
And it's always nice to see people saying good things about Protea, especially when we get ever closer to her prime. Fingers crossed we get the Xoris as one of the prime weapons alongside the Velox.

Frost with its augment is pretty strong rn. Dong get me wrong im all for protea, i main her but frost is pretty good, you should do a video about him
I don't think he's denying that Frost is strong, just saying he's mainly a 4 spammer (not really a negative when the 4 does everything besides outright kill), though his 3 can also be useful. Frost was my OG main so am very happy he got such a massive glow-up, definitely deserves a video for sure!

Very good video. Personaly I dont like warframes which cant armor strip because of level cap problems (and without roar damage numbers are not that exciting) but its probably best warframe from those not meating my conditions imo
Even without Roar her turrets scale mad powerfully, it just helps
There are some ways to armor strip withou abilities. Unairu, Latron Incarnon, Helios+Viscious Bond, and now Corrosive with the new green shards.

I am a bit confused with Roar. When I activate it. Its only giving me 100% and not the supposed 403%
Roar does not increase ability strength, what it does is it acts as a last multiplier of your damage on any sources of damage (idk if all of them but weapons and abilities that do damage are affecyed by roar) so it does not make all of your abilities stronger.
@@resko8758 I mean the upper right corner where it shows the buff. In the video it shows 403%. In mine its capping at 110%
@@verveunknown171 403% is the power strength on Protea, NOT the actual buff. The number being displayed by Roar is the final multiplier he's talking about. So that 110% you are seeing Roar having is the final damage multiplier it is giving you. The 403% power strength referred to in the video will not directly translate to the number Roar displays because that's not how the ability scales. If your power strength was actually capping out at 110%, Roar would be displaying like 33% buff. If that makes more sense?

these do exist for very short period of time and it is intentional. Not only does it cut down on comments of people who didn't watch the video complaining but it also but it's great for engagement..

I’m new. I’m building Mirage Prime and Titania Prime. Both look quite fun. Is there anything you have done with simple and easy builds for beginners for either of those frames?

I think even DE know that base Protea is just op. That why she getting about the last prime frame for herself. Every update she getting more powerful and i just hope that DE dont nerf her. She really is my best frame
Editing was great. You are one of three warframe creators I watch (knightmare and azn) because your builds are that good.
One thing I would suggest moving forward is considering circuit builds. I’m LR3 and one of the things I do to pass time is try to have a valid circuit build for most frames and a lot of these build videos require specific weapons/companions. Get rid of those requirements for a circuit build and you’re cookin’.
most of my builds work in circuit with decrees more than making up for any deficits
Great video but all you need for a SP Protea is basically, huras kubrow, equilibrium, archeon vitality. You say invisible do to huras, you use NO primary/secondary/melee, pop a distillery and/or energy pod, and only spam your turret and watch everything burn will stay invisible the whole time
yea but why lol, she already has great survivability
@@kyaii try it, never getting hit and just sitting back and letting SP enemies just come to you or just spam the turret. I cast around 15 turrets before I need a refill on energy, but I just drop a dispensary like every 6 turrets and never really run out of energy and just move and pop a turret and never have to worry about getting downed. Also my SP preference is to stay stealthed as much as possible. My main SP build is a gloom build Loki, and just let my god tier riven build weapons do the damage
I also I'm not saying a build like the video has is bad, its great. I'm just saying there are great more simplified builds for Protea that can still wreck SP
Regarding your style of editing, i can confidently say, that while I do like some other builds more, your style ensures that the viewer understands both the most important parts of the build and the additional nice things.
