Glad to see someone that finally appreciates just how good sickening pulse is on ember Side note, with the changes to energy efficiency that she received, i completely dropped exothermic from my build (never ran energize to begin with), and have had zero issues with energy economy

I used to use ember prime as one of my mains waaaaay back before she lost world on fire and got nerfed the first time, she was an absolute beast and me and my friends would spend over an hour or two in high level survival missions without flinching 😅 I stopped playing years ago (4 or 5 maybe) and have recently started up again so this was an interesting watch
Go into simulacrum with a friend, turn on friendly fire, make sure u are playing ember and they use a nukor. Then, make them use the nukor on your ember to further increase her "power"
Because how her 15% extra chance for energy orbs work, meaning they double the chance for energy orbs in practice based on stats, you may want to consider Equilibrium instead, because of an equal share in drop chance between health and energy orbs (respectfully 15-15%) it is better than the augment because from health orbs you can get more energy through the health conversion.
Unfortunately, that's because she's just a really outdated frame who DE kinda forgot even existed in these last years. She seriously needs some kind of scaling damage source and to get rid of that idiotic energy drain on her 2, when frames like Saryn and Xaku literally exist as they can nuke the map by simply looking in the enemies general direction.
Ember with tempest barrage and its augment to apply 3 status effects, then a nautilus with manifold bond and his cordon will make ember just kill enemies and nautilus continuously group enemies, without the need for weapons most of the time, fun idea and i did make the build for it on overframe if someone wanna check it out
She's "fine" at her current state. Definitely playable, but could def use a bit of a buff. Last update to her was more QoL. Still say her ult needs another mechanic to really push her.
This lad get it, Ember is "fine", but builds too much onto gimmicks to make Inferno feel like it does something, and at that point one might as well run her as a weapon platform with something over her 1/4. I'd say the only thing Inferno needs in order to bring the "offensive" potential out of Ember is for the rings of fire to be static areas of fire with guaranteed chance to deal heat procs, quite literally turning them back into mini Worlds on Fire, and then DE could make a Fireblast augment that brings back Accelerant and there you go, quick scaling heat and opens for build possibilities by making range a good option too. (Like come on, Napalm Grenades already exist and they are pretty good) Nothing crazy, just take what we once had which unironically would be better than the current, and find a way to implement it back.
I got back into Warframe a month or so ago and gave Ember a try. I always liked her, but she felt weak for higher level content. Started playing her a lot, that awesome skin that just dropped is a nice bonus though, it looks awesome.
In your opinion is she still pretty decent? I just started, like just started the game, only a few hours into it all and honestly wanted to go for ember 😭

@butterflysfly6734 ember was the first prime I got years ago when I first started (believe that was also the last time she was available but not sure as I play this game pretty on and off) and I can tell you she's very fun to play once you get her going. Maybe not absolute best for steel path and all that jazz but that's ways off for you anyways. I find that there's just something fun about getting as high in the air, look down on as many enemies as you can and press your ult. She'll melt enemies in pretty much every survival like scenario. And you can always run a solid weapon if you run into boss type enemies. Also try to get glaive prime while you still can. You won't regret it!
I really like using only subsumes that would "fit" the warframe. Like, choosing terrify for armor strip on Nidus, since he is kind of the terrifying monster, or using roar on Valkyr as she is already able to use warcry, why couldn't she also roar. My most plausible is terrify on Volt, but I still think it fits him, because the anxiety of touching something electrified could instill terror in enemies. What I wanted to say is thank you, because I'm waiting for my Ember prime in foundry, and you gave me a good Idea what I could subsume on her!
@Meowsamurai If you like subsumes that "fit" a character theme, then I would highly recommend you try Dagath with Jade's Ophanim eyes + her Spectral Spirit Augment. The theme of vengeful faceless spirit dooming those she "looks" at is pretty damn badass plus insanely strong to boot.
My general purpose volt that i have done a lvl cap void cascade with uses coil horizon on his 3. I use capacitance, shock trooper and shocking speed. archon stretch, umbral Intensify primed continuity, rolling guard, primed flow. Brief respite or growing power(normally growing power tho) and prime sure footed. Molt augmented and arcane aegis. 2 cast speed, 1 duration, 1 corrosive stack, and 1 equilibrium shards all tau. Should give it ago! The grouping is pretty nice and all the shock dmg just feels right lol. I wish we had archon shards for range like bruhh
@@Meowsamurai I would recommend using Voruna's Lycath's Hunt ability on Valkyr, it'll allow all of her kills with her claws to have high chance of dropping Health orbs, and if you have Equilibrium on, then that means keeping up on Energy very well, for her claws.. Also, the new Arcane Battery, after casting her 2, will allow you to go well over the needed 500 energy for the Violet Shards Melee Crit Damage requirement, allowing you to free up a Primed Flow mod
I tried something very similar to this but sadly its just not great, she is much better as a weapon platform frame with the Fireball Frenzy augment and roar for extreme heat damage. I basically took torid and made it deal furis levels of DoT damage against hordes, and she pairs extremely well with a nuke sentinel set up from how much more heat and damage she can apply with the augment and roar and a primer.
I wish they somehow doubled down on her "heat" or "fire" power fantasy and gave her unique interactions with heat (other than strength) the same way they did with Hydroid making more use of corrosive.
I just use wisp's subsume as well as enough range to get me to 50 meters on my 4 and 3 and it works wonder, melts pretty much anything and has massive range. the only thing the build is lacking is survivability, but you already have 90% DR so

The energy fix is not that important bcs her 4th is still bugged. You literally cant hit enemies below or above you or the ones that arent visible. This is actual bm form devs even tho now her 3rd ability works ok, this frame is focused on her 4th and they didnt even think about fixing this. I dont mind if its not full 360 aoe as saryn but at least hit all the opponents in range in 180.
Just find a high point in the map or double jump in the air to get a better fov and as many enemies in sight and then press 4, you can hit clear field of enemies. It's a little bit more active instead of just dashing around while pressing a button and everything dies. I like to think jumping high in the air before dropping my comet is part of the move like I'm pain dropping planetary devastation
Yeah i get that, but jumping like that only works when ur doing survival maybe defense. And im not saying it should kill everything, bcs its not, just proc all the stuff , use 3-4 then use a nuke weapon in like 130+ missions, before that it definitely should kill everything in the ability range no matter the fov or los. Foe me this is a huge missed opportunity considering how awesome her 4 is (rather could be).

this build is based on fireball tho right or just how much u prox fire on them first so if your other weapons arent putting out enough your not doing enough is what i got but i could be wrong i ade mine as a meteor build all i gotta do is armor strip first
My personal favorite build is subsuming Airburst over her 1 and building for high range. Her 4 spreads heat procs to all the enemies that get grouped and that allows the armor strip to take care of the rest

New inaros and stuff a proper meleee weapons like redeeemer prime add its damage to sand tornado thing and yiu can add skash high crit high status and so much more ither stuff i legit ws abke to spam to round 30 on defence on ceres keveking so i was useing forma but with his augment fir sand tornado abukity yiu can add all the damage from base weapon and elemantke byukt then if ysed with ruven and primed elementsk or the 60%60% mods for vural i made a high status kinda high crit slash explosive viral and sand mstorm or nado augment adds 50%range to all abilitys instead of just the one i relized which is helpfull but im still figureing out whats route to go then ik have my inari prime bayblade

Try Wisps Breach Surge over Embers 1st. I hit Immolation, then surge, then Inferno and watch everything die as the surges jump from enemy to enemy

Chromas elemental ward/ice on ember turns her into a bigger tank than she already is.

You should do a Sevagoth nuke build since his prime is coming out. I was hitting 180 kpm with mine on SP survival, it’s quite crazy.

I think her 2 and 3 should be combined into one skill. Press&hold to activate 2 and tap to use the 3. Then add in a new skill to replace the 3.
