I use a Kirkland ball. I also have a golf ball centrical spinner that spins the ball so that any "weight" goes to the outside and I then draw a line on it. Best of all worlds
Been using the °360 triple track since it came out for the LS version and I love it. The putting is way easier to line up and you know right away if you hit your line or not .
I play either Chrome Soft or a ProV1. I really like the look of the TRUVIS, or soccer ball. Appeals greatly to my eye, feel, and sound off my clubs. Gaming SIM2 MAX OS irons, STEALTH DRIVER, EPIC MAX 3W, BIG BERTHA B21 5W, and TRIPLTRACK 7 ODYSSEY PUTTER.
Ill stick with Srixon Q Star Tour balls. I’ve been trying the Divide balls and love the feed back on wedge shots with the ability to see the spin of the balls on the green. Also a complete line around the ball for an alignment aid. Good video.
That’s the “Fade” version of the ball. I used a sleeve of the ERC Soft Triple Trac 2 weeks ago. It was my first experience with that ball. I putted very well that day. Way better than usual.
I don’t mind the extra cost and have played chrome soft with good results. They work good for me and I know how they will react. Also the 5-6 courses I play I dont lose golf balls
Those are really pretty. Found one of the 360° chrome softs recently on the course and loved the new look. Currently playing the TM tour response stripe because I love the alignment aid on it. Cheers boys
They are awesome. They seem to be ideal for my swing speed. I've also good luck with the Wilson Professional, which is also soft and has a eurethane cover.
I’m sure I’m not the only one but I bought a ball marker with 3 parallel slots (to mimic triple track) and then added 3 lines (2 my 2 ball) using car ‘coach line tape’ (popular in the 80s) to match the ball marker. Works well for me and as Chris said avoided the forced ‘buy in’ they were obviously attempting to gain market share.
I use a check it spin gadget then draw my lines. I must admit, being lazy, I started using the pre stamped balls now a now and then. I like a soft feel on the green. The guides are a big plus.
I've been using the ERC Soft for a couple of years when they were also using the triple track marking. I also have an Odyssey two ball putter with the triple track alignment marking on top. I also very much like the Taylor Made Tour Response stripe. As a 22 handicap, I still lose too many balls to step up to the top tier ball from either manufacturer.
james what do you think of the callaway super soft balls with the almost rubber like cover on them? does the softer cover make any huge difference in distance?
I am curious of when (as opposed to if) you think the professional associations will ban golf balls with any type of alignment aid (e.g. stripes or long logos) and prohibit players from adding their own.
I’d rather use straight flight balls like Wilson Triad, or balance spun Maxfli Tour & X balls. Titleist ProV’s are pretty balanced. I have spun them with my Check Go Pro and that’s a testament to their quality control process. Why aren’t all manufacturers balance spinning their balls?
So true. But when you compare Kirkland's ball (CostCo) at $1.13 per ball to the ProV at $4.58 per ball, you realize that performance comes at a steep price. Is the ProV really worth more than 4 times the price? That's up to the individual golfer. If you're playing for your share of million$.....go "performance". But, will that ball help you break 90? Probably not.
With nearly 200 golf balls at my disposal from people giving them to me. All i have to do is drop a new ball each bad hit when nobody is watching. My game has never been better 😀
Well, my game driver speed is 124 to 126 ball with vice pro plus is 184 to 187mph. The problem I have with soft balls is the over compression I experience with driver and the longer distance with irons. I've found that I need 90 compression minimum. I lose about 15 yards of the driver and gain 10 yards with irons, completely counterintuitive. So finding a softer ball that does what I need is very hard.
Wow obviously you have a tracking system or ball monitor I’m not questioning that but for 60 mph ball speed difference to only be 15 yards difference? Have you calibrated? Those numbers don’t typically line up but of course not taking lower spin in consideration. That’s multiple clubs different though and the gap in speed doesn’t match what the gap in distance SHOULD be. Interested in your feed back. Thanks
@@slash-1971 You OBVIOUSLY haven’t played the Chromesoft, Chromesoft X, or Chromesoft XLS, AND the ERC! They all click! Warbirds too! The only one I’ve seen that doesn’t os the super soft, but those are 30-40 compression! Unless you have a swing speed under 80 you shouldn’t be playing those anyway.
I use a Kirkland ball. I also have a golf ball centrical spinner that spins the ball so that any "weight" goes to the outside and I then draw a line on it. Best of all worlds
I prefer the Supersoft, lower spinning for off center shots with little loss of distance and quite a bit cheaper than the Chromesoft.

If the v2 Kirkland ball is almost a Prov1 killer then how does the ERC stack up against it and at still nearly twice the price?
Or the Sugar golfbal. Great brand, feel, spin and distance for half the price of a Pro V1.
The ERC soft, is the only ball I've played with where I could see a noticeable distance increase. Good around greens too.
Morning from Bama! Been a min since I've seen Chris on the channel. Looking fresh and slim Chris!
Another great golf ball review, I do enjoy playing with a callaway chrome soft golf ball

I will definitely give these a try when i find them in the weeds, woods, or in the water during my round of golf.

Nice review.....the course looks to be in great shape.
I purchased the ERC golf balls last week. I like them Long distance high flying off the irons. They are easy to line up plus $10.00 cheaper
Love those powerlines right over your head on the Teebox. Lovely.😂😂
Those are really pretty. Found one of the 360° chrome softs recently on the course and loved the new look. Currently playing the TM tour response stripe because I love the alignment aid on it. Cheers boys
My favorite ball is the TM Tour Response.
They are awesome. They seem to be ideal for my swing speed. I've also good luck with the Wilson Professional, which is also soft and has a eurethane cover.
Bridgestone e12’s are my go to balls. Often I play Wilson staff duo d my softs. Both are really good for my game.

I'll still choose the Taylormade Tour Response Align .. but I'm used to using that ball. Haha

Have bought these .. love em
How did they stack up numbers wise with iron and wedge, still higher spin?
I would love to see this compared to the “Bridgestone Tour B RX”. They seem to have very similar results.

james what do you think of the callaway super soft balls with the almost rubber like cover on them? does the softer cover make any huge difference in distance?
Have you and Chris tested the Bridgestone E9 long drive ball
I use the Wilson Elite 50 its a killer ball for the money for a high handicap player
James, is there a difference between a urethane cover and a urethane coating, other than price?
i use lake balls as my skills are not that high, but i dream about using 1 really good brand in the future.
Volvik balls are responsive and relatively cheap. If you want lines get a sharpie.
I am curious of when (as opposed to if) you think the professional associations will ban golf balls with any type of alignment aid (e.g. stripes or long logos) and prohibit players from adding their own.
I was given some ERC soft at a demo day last year and hated them, thought they were very hard

Personally I still prefer the talormade tour response stripe and you can get them in different colours now aswell
A company is never going to release a cheaper golf ball that performs better than a premium

@@andrewtopping1937 it’s the reason I buy premium balls on sale or used prov’s. Kirklands are decent but they seem a bit soft off the tee
Surely it would be simple to amend the current alignment product on the market to have two lines in parallel instead of just one line?
I have been trying to use the TM Tour Response with the big line. Don't like it. It makes the ball hard to see in the 1st cut.
ERC is a great feeling ball but is short of a chrome soft in distance and green side spin
I love Callaway balls...so I would love if you could send me some of the ERC balls?
We had about 3 thousand geese on my home course last year and probably this year about 500
Costco Kirkland golf ball are brilliant for money

pro v1 all day long
💯 not a ball created that can match a ProV1! Nothing can compete with the durability!
F*ck it, if money is the issue get the 24pack of Noodles... Most rec players won't notice performance characterics from anything else
🔥🔥🔥
If you want a good quality cheap ball, you can't go past the Callaway HexSoft. Just purchased 6 dozen for $129.00AUD. 🙌
I thought he was showing results in the simulator?
I like the new markings but not yet available here in Canada
Still like the super soft

@@gagaming7192 I think you're confusing my driver swing speed with ball speed.
Last time I checked they low compression junk
Low compression? It’s not 1985 mate
@JamesRobinsonGolf well testing has shown lower compression today don't fly as far with higher swing speed players that's just physics
Blind test to see if anyone can tell the diff between ANY balls......
Cheap soft balls are awful for putting IMO. Like guessing how hard to hit a wet sponge.
They are not cheap balls though. Still £40 a dozen
Callaway balls are the absolute best for putting. The worst balls for putting are pro v1x or Tp5x, they both feel like a brick!
I buy nitro golf balls. They're PGA approved, feel great, and are just as workable as premium brands. And they cost a lot less than these!
Yikes
Most men your age Chris, suffer from morning stiffness 😂
🐊🏌⛳️🦅🇺🇸
Still going with pro v’s that are 2nd hand but in great condition 😅
same
Yup
Those are 60 compression! I can’t imagine how horrible they must feel putting, and I bet just like all Callaway balls the clicking must be horrendous!
Callaway balls don't click. Titleist pro v1x or Taylomade Tp5x are the worst balls for that. Come off the putter face completely dead.
@@slash-1971 not my experience bro!
