I grabbed the CORE after a great experience with the Katana amps, and through the higain modelers ended up being a Marshall fan as well after 4 decades of playing lol. Yes! Love updates and they come so rarely from Boss. I just got a Katana Gen 3, so this is doubly awesome. Thanks for the update and all the great videos on the GT1000.
Dave, thank you for the content-great chops and amazing tones. I also love my GT1000. My only wish is that it would support a long press for functions like tuning or mode switching. This feature would allow for 8 actions per preset. Right now, there are only 4 (realistically 3, because tuner)

Hi Will, how did you do that? Guitar -SD-Core guitar input? I have tried this in 4 cable and not too happy with the result. I have read about putting it in a loop and placing it in the cores chain before my Hot Rods pre amp. Which did you do? And actually the pedal i want to use is my 0CD v2 which is great with my Hot Rod. Thanks- John
I just go from pedal to input GT. Just render to check (and adjust) the inputlevel, because drivepedals usually bump the input level up resulting in clipping.
I guess it update November. I just updated My HeadRush Full, and My Helix. Both have good updates, amps and pedals, and now I look to see Gt1000 has an update. I'm in GUITAR HEAVEN!!!

I have to admit even I think the new amps in this update are just phenomenal! I may have to switch back to the Core I absolutely love the size of that unit...effects are out of this world on anything with the Boss name on it 💯

I've used the GT-1000 for years (live too), mostly for 80s hard rock/metal sounds. So, I'm most excited to try the X-Ultra and SD-1 options. More bass amps is also great.

I also purchased a Tone Master Pro because I'm curious to see what it can do and because of it's simplicity of use. It would be great if you could make a comparison beetween the both and tell what you like or dislike.
@@muhammadfitriidris4381 there is a Brit Stack in there, which is basically a Marshall. But I like all the ‘X’ amps for Marshall tones, they all seem to lend themselves to that vibe. The new X-Ultra would probably be my first pick.

I put the SD-1 in the distortion block set it up to sound just like my Waza pedal. It took some tweaking like you said but I got there. I couldn't be happier now I have a freed up loop. For the 4.0 version there is a bug where if you go into the INPUT SETTINGS from the unit while connected via USB to the computer with the BOSS Tone Studio, then the app opens the TUNER instead of the INPUT SETTINGS. The unit will still open the INPUT SETTINGS but the app will remain on the TUNER until you close it from the app itself.
Remember Ya gotta do that Silverchair tone video. Hear is what I am thinking. Use the GT1000 for all the sounds. Maybe you could do videos for multiple Artist replications Show just how versitile the BOSS GT is. Deftones Tool Incubus Silverchair You could do this better than most. Just a suggestion😊 Rock it Brother
would you recommend the frieadman be od deluxe to pair with the boss gt 1000 for a heavy metal tone. i tried to pair both but i cant get super high gain out of it
The BE OD Deluxe is a beast! You should be able to get epic heavy tones with them together. The GT1000 on its has some great heavy amps, you don’t actually need to add any extra pedals.
Apparently the files to be downloaded aren't working, lots of guys on FB forums are getting blank screens and their units won't boot up , the files downloaded are named differently to what is named in the instructions....

Hey dude. You bet ya. You can do that using the assigns. Another great option is to have the NS react to your input, when you play the Suppressor opens up, when you stop it slowly begins to close.
I am starting to hate this thing. I've had it for 2 years and am not really happy. How come some settings are super quiet and some are loud as hell. When I try to raise or lower the volume it changes the sound....grrr
That's the best facial hair styling I've seen for a while.

I’m happy they updated the units but I’m so sad they didn’t add any new modulation, delays, or reverbs.

I replaced all my heavy presets from X modded to the titan.sounds so good now!
That’s awesome. I was an X-Mod amp guy too, but the Titan is sick. Definitely my go to now.

Why do boss devices sound so thin and compressed like the sound is coming from a distant place, a big chunk of the sound is missing?

Yeah there is the update for the Core as well. It’s basically the smaller version of the full size board, so all the same. 🤘🏼

4he boss core has the same update as the gt 1000 however it is called a 2.0 update
