My name is Dmitri, i live on the Gold Coast Australia. I remember a tingling sensation i would experience when i was young, as i grew i found i could trigger the experience when i found the right set stimuli like the tone of a person's voice, gentle massage, watching someone focus on a task. This was before video and internet were in the same thought range. Over time i found and experienced many different situations to learn about all the different triggers for ASMR. I translated that experience & combined some innate ability to help people experience it with the high quality studio recordings to bring the highest quality tingles i can.
ASMR is a tingly feeling the commonly felt in the scalp area and often down the back and other parts of the body. ASMS is commonly experienced through a soft spoken or whispering voice, ear to ear sounds or binaural sounds, watching or experience massage, plus a Variety of sounds like tapping crinkle scratching.
Some of the benefits of ASMR might be sleep relaxation reduce stress and anxiety
I specialize in no talking ASMR video's focusing on ASMR sounds, i try to create different video for all the different preferences people have. Some of my role plays are based in fictional characters like Dr Dmitri & Manwelle
I loved watching massage video to experience ASMR so i like to create video to replicate these experiences with other, like head massage, back massage for total body relaxation.
What is ASMR ? A theory
When your cranial nerves receives information in the form of sight, sounds & Senses your brain may process this information as let us say a "trigger" When you cranial nerves find that perfect combination of "Triggers" it activates the full effect of the parasympathetic nervous system almost like a symphony neurons hitting the perfect note as wave after wave of feelings cascades down the nervous system down the spine and to many parts of the body
I believe it may then releases one or more of: oxytocin, acetylcholine, GABA, Serotonin, endorphins directing into the brain and blood stream Instantly relaxing, clearing cortisol, adrenaline and soothes the body.
There is another side effect of this symphony that it puts the brain into a alpha state and after the person falls asleep allows them to access a deeper delta level state during sleep.
This theory idea was put forward to me by a very special person, i believe they have a insight and understanding of ASMR that even i do not have.

I always find myself back here, this channel ruined asmr for me because no one even remotely compares to the effort product and professionalism of this channel and how insanely personable and thoughtful Dmitri is with his videos. This is by far my most visited page :)

I had a really bad anxiety attack tonight that lasted for hours and I almost went to the hospital because I was too paranoid to sleep. I also almost self-harmed then I watched this video and it calmed me down a lot. Thank you.
“hands down” (pardon the pun) he is the best at ASMR that I have found for myself. He radiates calm with his presence alone, and then add his voice (tone) and hand movements, then I’m out like a light

I wake up and make my coffee. I drive to work and deal with the day. I cook my last meal of the day. Finally I listen to Dimitri. My routine. We all have one. Those of us who have Dimitri are lucky :)
I think youtube need to grant all channels with this genre an exemption from those noisy advertisements. Or if Dmitri chooses to have ads for the money (rightly so) they should pay him for silent ones rather than blasting the ears of people zoned out on ASMR!

Honestly the best thing about your videos to me is the lighting. It's nice to be able to full screen and just zone out for a while. It's a nice touch that more ASMRtists should look into.

He does get money from UA-cam. He also has amazon referral links and a Patreon.
Though he does make money per view, like, subscribe, etc, it is not a well paying channel untill you get into the several hundred thousands to the millions. Not only this, but his patreon and Amazon links don't exactly grosse the most profit, and what he does get he nearly entirely uses for the channel. He's always talking about better equipment - even stuff in the thousands of dollars worth that he's looking into. Though he does get a bit of money out if this, he is a really selfless person, and we owe him much thanks. Thank you so much, Dmitri!

I think this is my favorite ASMR video to fall asleep to. I keep coming back to this one over and over. It doesn't give me the ASMR tingles anymore, but the cadence of your voice in this particular video is just so soothing.

I feel the same whenever he says "perfect" in his videos. I don't know why, but it just sends a wave of tingles all over my body and I just keep feeling more and more relaxed when he does so.

I'm relatively new to asmr videos and find myself drawn back to your videos...someone mentioned something about the sound of your voice alone...I agree...very soothing...yours is the only one I've subscribed to so far...don't understand the small minds that talk about such things as what you're wearing, etc., you are dedicated to what you do and it shows...everything shows itself at some point...universal law... thank you for your dedication, it's helped me a lot...hope you're able to keep it up...

A lot of videos here are called "ASMR". But while I watched the clips by Dr. Dmitri I felt first time the head tingling I love so much.
I stumbled upon ASMR by accident, i had no idea what it was, or what it was supposed to do, i got so absorbed in it, than all of the sudden my head started tingling like crazy, and my spine a bit, it was intense but i didn't know what asmr was so i looked it up after, and than found out the tingles were suppose to happen. so i am a believer. i would have thought people only felt tingles because they were expecting to....like a mental suggestion or something...but for me it happened without knowing it was supposed to. i have been trying to find more asmr that i like after that experience, and i really like this video. what i don't know how to do though, is how to get into asmr when i am anxious, or in pain, upset etc. it seems it only works for me while i'm already relaxed. if i am anxious it doesn't help because i'm to wound up to get into it...anyone else have this problem? or know how to get into the videos while having an episode?

I know that a lot of people make the whole *so this is what it feels like to be high* joke, but I actually like the multiple hands thing. I'm being hypnotized more than anything. These are some of my favorite types of videos that you do! I like how you layer in the sounds and go with the matrix visuals lol. I think it would be cool if you recorded yourself taking a shower (audio only NO visual lol) and then layered in those sounds over a video like this possibly?
