All that being said, the thing was dead, that was just the post mortem movement when it was served. Still I can't stand having my meal move that much. When You cook the body it'll stop. But you can watch something g similar when you put fresh lobster tails on the grill, as soon as the heat touches them they start jumping, it's crazy, but they are most definitely dead.

@@jengalayla8597 I think its pretty clear this was not like freshly killed sashimi. This is an intentional and desired presentation to keep the animal alive while serving. Plenty of other examples. Eating live squid/live octopus/deepfrying a fish only up to the head. Butchering and eating sections off larger animals like donkey before they die. Something about freshness I guess or maybe some deep seeded sense of sadism. Common in some cultures. Certainly not okay just because it's normal. A very cruel practice indeed. I think many countries still don't think animals have a sentient experience capable of pain/consciousness/emotions etc and so things like this don't evoke any sense of being disturbed, sympathy for suffering, or guilt which is crazy to me because it seems extremely intuitive and primal to identify with the movements, sights, and sounds of an animal in pain. Humans go through some crazy mental gymnastics to resolve their cognitive dissonance.

Wolves go straight to disembowel their larger prey after hamstringing them. Prey is alive the entire time until loss of consciousness. Same goes with bears.

In recommended, just poached, not cooked. You don't want to eat rubber .... By the way, this one is completely different texture and sweetness in comparison to the lobster, and the way to taste that is sashimi. Cooked it, it will taste the texture same to the other lobster and drain out all the sweetness.
