About how complete is this course?
Upstart game developer right here. Complete freshman by Unreal standards, have been using Unity for a few years prior to switching to Unreal
WAIT Zif you don't know anything about Unreal 1, 2 3, or 4 do I need to watch anything before this??
2 months into a unity project, read the unity news, and now I'm here. Let's hope the unreal management is less psycho.
😂😂😂😂. Could I ask for some help on how to use this program tho. I’m a noob
Hello fellow unity 2023 survivors
accurate
Hahahahahahhaah yes, that is exactly who's here😂😂😂
This is accurate af😂😂
I really wish Unity would've have become this advanced😢
Hello, fellow survivor. Lol
Yep time to learn unreal Dani wouldn’t be proud
I must admit that UE 5 interests me more for the film/video than the game however, this introduction is perfect so thank you 👍👍👍
@@PP3D scam don't listen to him
@@Abdi-libaax what
Unreal is good for games. If you want to cinematics you can use even better engines like Vray as someone else said blender is great for that purpose too.
Blender works effectively for video and film production. For my games, I primarily create models in Blender and then import them into UE5.
@@Chlrintruc sure, but people like corridor use unreal for plenty of their vfx.
Man, I've recently moved to Unreal from Unity (given the recent debacles going on over there) and I just wanted to say these tutorials are awesome, I'm learning a lot and I greatly appreciate you having taken the time to make them for us newbies.
same
yep very helpful doing the same thing myself
yessir
Started getting into UE4 2 years ago. Finding tutorials that were not out of date because of all the updates was a pain. Something would always be different from my versions.
I did make some progress but put it aside and waited for UE5. So I am very excited to follow your future tutorials. Thanks for all your hard work.
For any newbe beginner like myself this is an "ABSOLUTELY AMAZING" tutorial! I like your perfect speed of the speech, the clarity of your articulation and everything else. I look forward following your other tutorials. This one is already enough to fill one week of practice! Thank you so much you are truly an outstanding lecturer.
Thanks for creating this tutorial! I really feel much more prepared to dive head-first into Unreal!
I am so excited to get more into this. As a video editor and animator, this feels crazy accessible and oddly familiar. Thank you for the detailed breakdown to help us get started!
Excellent video, took me from knowing nothing to knowing all that I wanted to know, very clear and to the point, goes over each section beautifully. Defintely subscribing for this one, thanks man.
Very well detailed and explained, cheers! Looking forward for the next video!
i use to think this stuff was super complicated thing and yet you make it sound easy

That's a very quick but detailed introduction to Unreal Engine 5. Thank you very much
This a great tutorial for getting people going, opening up the UI in Unreal can be scary at first glance. Nice job!
Gotta leave a like on this one. I knew nothing and now I have a good lay of the land with unreal engine and I’m ready to learn more . Thank you!

WOW! THIS WAS AWESOME!!! I'm so excited to play around with the engine when I have the extra time. I got the Dynamic Volumetric Sky pack so I'll learn how to make skyboxes and lighting for scenes. I want to make fan films and maybe make my own little playable experiences.

I'm actually thinking about switching to Unreal just because of Unity succumbing to the deadly sin of avarice, so this will help me in the long run
Thank you SO much for this video (and the entire tutorial project) Its a huge help!

Thnaks for the video. Great to have tutorials from the start. I have subscribed. Some comments: Maybe explain the types of basic projects you can start with - when do you e.g. use the Cinema template? and where do you recommend to save own projects and downloaded assets ?
Great teaching, thats what I needed to start, thanks!
What a great tutorial. You made everything very simple. Excellent tutorial. Thank you very much.

Incredble.. truly excellent. Thank you.
5:53 I like your videos. If you really mean your video for total beginners in using a game engine then you should explain mouse navigation with a lot more details. That part is brutally complex, it seems simple but it isnt when you meet it first.
I just want to say thank you. You are a beautiful human being.

Super useful tutorial, thanks :)
Just want to let everyone know that Quixel Bridge Plugin 35:00 can be missing in UE5. It is a current bug that Epic is working on fixing. Until then you can install it either through the marketplace (just search for the plugin and install it to engine) or they should be shortly patching this bug
Is there a second tutorial planned?
Please continue this series man, tons of people are starting in 2022 with UE5 and we need you at times like this :(
Quixel is working perfectly with the latest update of UE5.
I have the opposite problem. I just installed UE5.01 and Quixel works fine, but I can't get Marketplace to open inside the editor. Nothing at all happens when I try to open it, either through the "add" button or through the Window menu. I can go into the Marketplace through the Epic Games Launcher only, so I guess it's not a big deal, but I usually launch the editor directly through the project shortcut and don't even open the Epic launcher. Anyone else seeing this?
Why Nintendo switch ad?? You're ads telling me a storyline- from another time- in a Galaxy*S10e, far far away! 🤘 Georgia. Ok.. okay.
