Hey!
Very interested in your course. Mind explaining briefly how robust the multiplayer system is? The page states that by enrolling in the course, all future updates are included. Are there any updates planned?
No
EVERYONE COMING TO UNREAL!!!
That would certainly be ... UNREAL
@@kajatoth9151You're UNREAL 😂
Unity is basically shooting their own foot so it makes sense
Unity Trash!!! W Unreal Engine!!!
Super smash unreal assets
(Think of all the game modes 🤯)
Perfect for everyone coming from Unity
Was just about to comment that
Yea unity just destroyed there userbase
@Dante1243 yeah but unity isn't that bad it's just for beginners but unreal engine Is better have you seen unrecord
Welcome boys and girls!
@@rako905 yea unrecord looks amazing
1.5 hours in on this and I've already learned more than the several tutorials I did last week. Thank you.
you have my respect i was like wow this guys really getting into detail here and then i saw all the videos are 2hrs long i love the dedication and im grateful you made this so anyone can learn.
I need to say that the fact this is a free course is so awesome! I followed the whole tutorial and can only say that your teaching is on point. I really appreciate the effort put into this. If one day I am more advanced, I would definitely follow the paid course as well!
This was so amazingly useful! I'm completely new to Unreal Engine and decided to take it up as a hobby. And so far I am having a blast! This beginner guide was so incredibly helpful, I finally have a solid understanding of the raw basics.
I'm now starting my game dev journey! I have always wanted to pursue this and have decided to stop putting it off until tomorrow today. After seeing the unity situation unfold, I'm glad I favored this engine to begin with, and happy that I can learn alongside others during the exodus. I look forward to contributing to the hobby I enjoyed since childhood, and making something people will enjoy!
I hope everyone converting will be sucessful, and I look forward to maybe working alongside eachother one day. Happy learning everyone!
I have attempted several times. yet with the new updates to Unreal the last year, I have put it off. Doing it now. Time to buckle down!
me too man been procrastinating things for about 5 years so yah anyway now imma work hard as fuck xD i wish you success and happy game making
Hi, just wondering how your game dev journey is going, just asking since I am starting as well and wanted to see how people are learning from this video!
Not so well. I work 60-80 hours a week, so taking the time to learn it has been a nightmare.@@WalterWhiteboy
Hey everyone, hows the game dev journey going? I'm not doing game dev, but wanted to start making cinematics.
I checked all of the tutorials, and yours is the best. Your voice is clear, your explanation is slow, and your speed is easy to follow,... wonderful tutorial indeed
I gotta say.. I'm only halfway through the video and its extremely informative. Everything has been explained so well! Fantastic vid!
Dude what a beast of a perfect beginners tutorial! Easy to follow, and now i can orientate in the engine. Knowing the basics now makes me so much more confident in going on!
Much love.
I am completely new to UE, this video has taken me from not knowing what I'm looking at when I opened the engine, to feeling confident about using it and learning more. Amazing video, thank you for uploading it.
Ugh crystal clear audio and easy to understand. Thank you so much!!
I'm about 50mins through this tutorial and just wanted to say it's been great. Thanks for your hard work.
Just finished the tutorial. Doing this gave me the confidence to keep going. I am actually starting to comprehend the software now. Thank you for this. I was about to give up.
Amazingly thorough and easy to digest! Thank you for this!!!
Thanks a lot. I think in these troubled times this guide will be able to help many newbies.
Thank you so much I am completely new to using any game engine and just started to get interested in unreal and thanks to your guidance I am able to actually start understanding how unreal works and what I can do with it
I'm just getting started on working on a community Cyberpunk-themed game. Me, and a small group of people were going to start in Unity. Needless to say, that's -not- happening anymore.
Thanks for the new UE tutorial! Definitely going to be learning from the ground up here ^^
Welcome to Unreal!
Unreal feels a lot better than Unity, and I've used Unity for some years now. Wish I'd switched over sooner.
Love the cyberpunk idea! I just downloaded the engine, I hope to learn a lot and be able to create a game as well!
Congrats on reaching 100k subscribers dude. You deserve a hell of a lot more than that!
I was just watching your island tutorials and then you dropped this! Fantastic work
I am trying to update all my videos and also add new ones!
@@SmartPoly this is your chance to grow your channel more
@SmartPoly this is really helpful learning the basics of anything can help you
I literally just downloaded unreal with a survival crafting game in mind. I will be buying the course when i get paid tomorrow! very excited!!!
This is great! Free course to unreal. I just bought my first pc and now im able to start my game dev journey. I know this is going to be long road but im doing this for myself. Wish the best for everyone!
Oh man, thanks for such precious resources, you're a hero!
just started wacthing ur tutorial after swicth from unity and it was needed for me to start, thankyou so much
amazing video, thank you for all the attention and details in this free content, I will definitely follow along for the rest of the series
@smartpoly I just wanted to thank you for making these tutorials. I am very new and have tried learning prior when Unreal5 originally came out. I have since come back and started to try and develop my understanding to the software. I think you do an excellent job of going into the general functions and elaborating on the different aspects of this software without getting off track. I will probably be using your tutorial from this point on and purchasing your services. I look forward to learning with you and thank you very much for doing such a good job as I have been struggling with the overwhelming features that this powerful engine can do.
Sincerely, Nathanael
Can you make a tutorial explaining the differences between event dispatchers, interfaces, and casting. Basically blueprint communication and their applications?
I am working on a blueprint beginners series!!
Couldn't have timed the release of this video better my friend😂 great work as always👍
I swear, I had just heard recently about both unity trying to charge, and unreal 5.3 so I figured it was the best to learn since it's popular. Some of my favorite games were made in UE4
@@AaronLyNxAI stick with smartpoly, he'll teach you well.
I'm not making anything at all, haven't even touched the engine for months (new kid). But I still follow SP! He's great buddy 👍 can't go wrong here
amazing tutorial for a beginner in unreal engine 5.3, thank you for the effort and i hope your course get million of views, because you deserve it
ur explanation is awsome dude i really liked the way u describes everything one by one
Very well-made tutorial. As someone who is just getting back into unreal since engine 3 came out I have to say this is a very nice refresher.
Just what i was looking for thank you so much
What a journey we spent 2 hrs together. thank you!
This is great!. I just started to learn to make games with unity, but I lost trust in them due to their changes, so I came here to learn Unreal. Awesome video.
Great pacing and very clear instructions. Speaker clearly has a very solid understanding of the program.
Awesome, so far this is the best tutorial I have seen. I'm excited to learn more! Thanks!
Leggo! Subscribed! Moving my entire project to unreal! 😊
I loved even you made a "UA-cam algorithm style" thumbnail, I started watching your channel after deciding to start Unreal this week, lets see whre it goes, great timing with the video
I love your tutorials. They are very clear and covers everything for the new user. Thank you
Can u please make an entire series for cinematic in ue5.3 that covers vfx, cinematic camera animation, niagra, destruction, debries, etc. This would be a really helpful and a great content too cuz nobody does this.
great job easy to follow more informative then most online courses thank you for the hard work
Thank you so much for such a nice teaching, literally, i watched other tutorials and they brought me headache, luv u brother
Very Very useful! looking forward for blueprint video like you mentioned! subbed :)
You are the man!! Love you're video, has helped me so much, thank you for sharing!!
SIMPLE, FAST AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND
You have my thanks.
This was amazing, I've learned so much and being an older guy I really needed the step by step instructions that you gave. Really great job!
fr
I noticed when I followed a Udemy course that the instructor just kept working on some demo game as he would do without any detailed UI explanations (you're suppposed to just follow but I'm sure all that knowlege will evaporate once you're done because you just followed blindly). I feel like with this, you can build anything on your own and experiment with the enegine rather than just build a game by copy/pasting. Thanks a lot, man
The best Unreal Engine tutorial i have seen on youtube
Exactly what I needed now ⭐
I'm Brazilian, I loved this video... really, really no one has ever taught me so well! thanks
as a casual unity dev for 10 years I have to port my project over here now.
Is it that easy?
@@jugg3991 was only 3 months in the latest project luckily, and unreal seems to be far easier to code with visual scripting, will be caught up in about 2 weeks.
thank you soo much!
I love your channel please continue even more
EXCELLENCE. First person that makes me subscribe , like and all the above in a tutorial thank you so so much! (A newcomer!)
Amazing video man! Most of this I learned from just screwing around with the program. Though a context of what they actually mean is always great!
This is so informative, thank you 🙏
Seriously amazing, thank you!
Excellent tutorial.
And an excellent advert. I’m a hobbyist currently using Unity. My misconceptions about Unreal have been dispelled.
Thanks for making these videos, once I get my pc fixed I'm gonna try learning this
Thanks for sharing knowledge. Waiting for more tutorials on Unreal Engine from you.
