Hey! Very interested in your course. Mind explaining briefly how robust the multiplayer system is? The page states that by enrolling in the course, all future updates are included. Are there any updates planned?
I need to say that the fact this is a free course is so awesome! I followed the whole tutorial and can only say that your teaching is on point. I really appreciate the effort put into this. If one day I am more advanced, I would definitely follow the paid course as well!
I'm now starting my game dev journey! I have always wanted to pursue this and have decided to stop putting it off until tomorrow today. After seeing the unity situation unfold, I'm glad I favored this engine to begin with, and happy that I can learn alongside others during the exodus. I look forward to contributing to the hobby I enjoyed since childhood, and making something people will enjoy! I hope everyone converting will be sucessful, and I look forward to maybe working alongside eachother one day. Happy learning everyone!
Hi, just wondering how your game dev journey is going, just asking since I am starting as well and wanted to see how people are learning from this video!
I'm usually not a tutorial guide person, since they are often two cursory, too slow, and too specifically goaled...but this just feels really good. Touches on things, shows you some of the depth and then comes back to the goal well.
you have my respect i was like wow this guys really getting into detail here and then i saw all the videos are 2hrs long i love the dedication and im grateful you made this so anyone can learn.
I checked all of the tutorials, and yours is the best. Your voice is clear, your explanation is slow, and your speed is easy to follow,... wonderful tutorial indeed
48:40 to remember where i left so I can continue to watch from there Completed.. Thank you i learned everything from here cause I'm a baby when it comes to unreal engine 5 and game development as a whole..
hows the process going? I have no real art expertise, mainly music and sfx. Im wanting to dive in but I want to see results within a year without sacrifing more than like 10 hours a week due to it. Seems like you got a month head start, hows it going for you when it comes to your own time on it and scope of projects?
@@daytrace4635 I did make some games but nothing crazy.. I have college sooo there's that.. The most complex thing I've made till now is an elden ring style Stat system but it hella buggy lol
Great tutorial! I'm a teacher specializing in 3D graphics, and I truly appreciate how methodical and pedagogical your approach is. Thank you for sharing your expertise!
I'm just getting started on working on a community Cyberpunk-themed game. Me, and a small group of people were going to start in Unity. Needless to say, that's -not- happening anymore. Thanks for the new UE tutorial! Definitely going to be learning from the ground up here ^^
This is great! Free course to unreal. I just bought my first pc and now im able to start my game dev journey. I know this is going to be long road but im doing this for myself. Wish the best for everyone!
I noticed when I followed a Udemy course that the instructor just kept working on some demo game as he would do without any detailed UI explanations (you're suppposed to just follow but I'm sure all that knowlege will evaporate once you're done because you just followed blindly). I feel like with this, you can build anything on your own and experiment with the enegine rather than just build a game by copy/pasting. Thanks a lot, man
My Man Poly, you are a Hero! You are the only Person that can actually teach me something about Professional Game design without me giving up midway through because of some error! Thanks Mate, you are a Life saver! I want to make a Game in the Future, and you will be credited as tutor!
Great tutorial... I'm a just born beginner in game development. Looking at UE5 its a beast you can easily get overwhelmed. Thank you. I've looked at alot of video. Yours and a handful of others. Are the best "tutorialists" I've found. Thank you boss.
This was so amazingly useful! I'm completely new to Unreal Engine and decided to take it up as a hobby. And so far I am having a blast! This beginner guide was so incredibly helpful, I finally have a solid understanding of the raw basics.
@smartpoly I just wanted to thank you for making these tutorials. I am very new and have tried learning prior when Unreal5 originally came out. I have since come back and started to try and develop my understanding to the software. I think you do an excellent job of going into the general functions and elaborating on the different aspects of this software without getting off track. I will probably be using your tutorial from this point on and purchasing your services. I look forward to learning with you and thank you very much for doing such a good job as I have been struggling with the overwhelming features that this powerful engine can do. Sincerely, Nathanael
This was an incredibly detailed, well put together, and concise tutorial. I think I learned more from this one tutorial than I learned from any initial courses or tutorials for any prior engine.
Dude what a beast of a perfect beginners tutorial! Easy to follow, and now i can orientate in the engine. Knowing the basics now makes me so much more confident in going on! Much love.
Just finished the tutorial. Doing this gave me the confidence to keep going. I am actually starting to comprehend the software now. Thank you for this. I was about to give up.
