Tim Nelson was originally embarrassed by his singing voice, thank goodness they encouraged him to go along with this because I’m certain he wouldn’t sing in Buster Scruggs if not
LOVE that dancing!! My American wife got me into this movie I had never heard of it - now I have to watch it once a month this is one of the BEST movies I ever did see its BONA FIDE!!
I’m from Chicago and didn’t know about southern culture that much, I love this movie!!! There’s a PBS documentary called Country Music and basically O Brother is a love letter to this type of music. It’s amazing documentary and there are so many things that T Bone Burnett (country music producer and kind of a historian) brought to the movie.
I don’t know how many times we’ve watched this movie. Everyone and everything about is soooo good. Homers Iliad meets the south. Dan Tyminski put such a great spin on Constant Sorrow! Not to say that Ralph Stanley doesn’t do a great traditional version though. What a collection of great acting and musical talent in one show.
Awesome movie, soundtrack and band. I got the chance to see the Dan Kaminsky band in person at a small gathering here at a local university...what a show, what music!
If you get the chance, watch Old Henry. It is a low budget Western, but Tim Blake Nelson shines. Nelson is an underrated actor. I will give one spoiler, there is a fairly gruesome surgery scene.
That is really amazing, I can imagine how things back in was so different and every time I hear and read stories like this, I feel like I was there, I’m a young person with an old soul with a lot of connections with the past
"That's a good boy, is your daddy about?" "Was that the one store, Everett, or was it the whole chain?" "Friend, your folding money is coming unstowed." "Don't you see, Everett? Them sirens done loved Pete up and turned him into a horny toad." Comic GOLD!🤣🤣🤣🤣

Quando a graça e a arte de atores tornam insuperável a performance de uma musica. Ouvi com varios cantores e conjuntos A Man a Constant Sorrow, mas com George Clooney e colegas é insuperável.
This is one of those movies you can binge watch for a whole day and it never gets old
I love how the audience applauds the yodelling solo.
I mean… why wouldn’t they
I love Pete’s dancing in the beginning, with his completely serious and defensive face XD
That’s my favorite part! Every time I watch that scene I have to get up and dance like him, it’s hilarious!!
It’s like an itch yet inebriation
I recently watched the sicilian movie. He its the main character right hand man. Guilliano and pichiota
My buddy dances like this when he gets to a certain level of drunk
This movie could pass as a musical. What a great piece of work!
It is a musical. A jukebox musical if you wanna get technical.
Hello I concur with you, such a great song
It is a musical. And it's a brilliant depiction of Homer's The Odyssey. It's a cinematic masterpiece.
Jimmie Rogers, 1928
I have to admit, until I recognised The Odyssey it had been a seriously odd jailbreak film :) @@winstonsmith11

Обожаю Тим Нельсона! Этот скрипучий баритон, после того как я его услышал, стал для меня образцом истинно американского вокала.
He’s got a mighty fine singing voice.
he did a great job singing cool water in buster scruggs, a really great old song
He sounds great 🙏❤️🙏
His voice is perfect for that style. Everyones voice is unique, and his could work as a musician
I can't keep my eyes off Turturro during this whole part, he's so funny. This movie rocks.
One of my dad's favorite films. He grew up in East Texas in the 30's
We'll meet again in God's good time, Dad ❤️
I don't think the guys get enough credit. Love this song 😂

“Everett; my beard itches” 😆
Ha I loved how he said it
"No one's gonna believe we in a real band".
Sometimes it's not the line, it's the timing.
That’s a thing in Coen Brothers movies. It’s often the simple lines that crack me up due to tone and timing. “Oh no no, just the regular side”
Meanwhile they are the hottest selling vinyl.
My dad’s favorite movie. Used to watch this with him when we were kids.
The music all through this movie made it soooo good
Great movie. Blake Nelson sings In The Jail House Now fantastically.

I believe it's the Odyssey it emulates, not the Iliad.
It's the Odyssey
ONLY A FEW THINGS COME AROUND IN LIFE THAT TURN OUT TO BE GREAT. THIS MOVIE IS ONE OF THEM
I love this f**king movie the movie is a masterpiece
Proud to say I saw this in theater with my momma
" I SEEN IT FIRST!" 🤣🤣🤣
Will never get over this. One of the best motivés EVER
Awesome movie, soundtrack and band. I got the chance to see the Dan Kaminsky band in person at a small gathering here at a local university...what a show, what music!
John Turturro cracks me up!
One of the Coen brothers best. 👍
I invented moral fiber,, laughing out the regular side of my face
Spoken just as Zeus would say. Then he'd continue to keep humanity under his thumb 😅
Only movie I ever bought the soundtrack to and still sing-a-along to whenever it's on/
I went straight to the record store after this movie. (We used to call them record stores. 😊)
Everett my beard itches 😂 classic
Watch their dancing moves! Amazing!
The whole movie cracks me up. George Clooney is a total goofball.
" Yea well he's bonafide" 😅
I strive to one day be bonafide!
all that yodeling is rewind-worthy
I wants me some Pappy flapjacks!
Check out Sourdough Slim for some fine Western yodeling. I suggest the Yodeling Cowboy.
I am forthwith gonna dedicate my life to yodeling.
I know I can do it!

YES! No one talks about Old Henry but it's an awesome western movie. And the twist! 🤌
Really liked their singing!
its a fine way to end your day
The actors weren't the actual singers, they were lip synching.
Vraiment superbe comme musique qui nous remonte le moral merci beaucoup pour votre commentaire ❤
@@Gww-1 Yeah, but Tim Blake Nelson (Delmar) was actually singing though
And dancing!
This was one if the best movies!
John Turturros dance throughout is God tier
I love Turturros vibe at 2:25
Monk's brother is the best dancer.
My dad loved this song with Tim Blake singing.
All in this movie were superb! Charles Durning was awesome!
Charles Durning never turned in a bad performance.
My “folks” used to perform music like this for tips at rest stops and diners along their journey from Nebraska to California during the Dust Bowl
That is really amazing, I can imagine how things back in was so different and every time I hear and read stories like this, I feel like I was there, I’m a young person with an old soul with a lot of connections with the past
Tim Blake Nelson is an extremely talented actor!
Agreed.

Bless the Coen bros
My Father loved and laughed at this movie , and music
A great movie with great dialog and music.

I love you folks...You make me want to sing into a tin can!
PS: I am Bona fide. Well of course ; )
I try to watch this movie at least once every year. That’s not even enough.
I have noticed the incredible resemblance between Buster Scruch and De'lmar.
The greatest song ever on movies 😄
Pappy Lee O'Daniel was actually the Governor of the State of Texas. His ranch was about 5 miles from my family farm.
He had good bands too. The Light Crust Doughboys and the Hillbilly Boys were both great
Background dance is more important here 🤓
Lol!😁😁
“I know this guy that will pint me up a license” alright bud, lemme see you pay my rent this month lamooooo
Moral fiber?? I invented moral fiber!
Just the regular side ----- but what if you are two-faced which side is the regular side?... This is a great movie
I love how Pappy is at a Homer Stokes rally trying to recruit away staff members😂. Luckily it paid off but barely
Buster Scruggs got reincarnated and still rocked the music.
this makes me smile, laugh and reset my clock
Hello how are you doing?
Sorry not sorry one of the best movies ever!

Incredible video! Quality!!
Wonderful. Why only 1.7 million views?
Does anyone out there recognize what model guitar George Clooney is holding in this scene? I've watched a few times, but I'm not catching it.
Best movie ever...
One of best lip synching performances of all time! Just saying the 🎥 is so inspiring!!! The soogy bottom boys!!!
Tim was the most educated guy that played on the movie believe it or not
He was awesome
Long ago in Arizona I had to do a dime of time. The inmates put on a concert show they did this song and dance to a T.
So what this is a good song!!.
Ole Tim Blake Nelson from Tulsa ok!
Evert my beard itches. 😂😂😂
Got that right great movie
Every time I see Lincoln Potter, he reminds me of Vernon Waldrip.
I’m Goddamn Bonafide 😂😂
The very best thing he over done, lady from Wales, UK
The only question I have towards this movie is, was Everett banned from ALL Woolworth’s or that particular one only? 🤔
"In the Jail House Now, fellers. Neighborhood of B"
"Everett, my beard itches" lol
As I watched the clip again Pete reminded me of the goat puppets from the sound of music movie
Brilliant movie
god I hate musicals but this is the ONLY one that I liiike! Very funny movie
Still a great movie and soundtrack Run him out on a log Pappy.
