So when you said there was a lot of grease, it’s actually water releasing from the meat and when that happens it’s best to keep it on the stove and let it evaporate. After it evaporates you get into searing the meat, that’s where your depth of flavor comes in. When cooking ground beef in my opinion it’s best to crack open two cloves of garlic skin on, add finely chopped onion and add a sprig of thyme for a deep aromatic flavor. Then once you’ve caramelized the onions and you really get the garlic coming through toss your beef in and cook it as I said with all of the ingredients. You’ll have great taste at a low cost!

Thanks Logan for the great comment. I just made this as basic as I could. I love your ideas and maybe one day I will make a more detailed recipe like yours. Also yes there is water but I find alot of it is fat. If you dump it into a cup you can see it. Thanks so much for the comment and I will be sure to make a video and use some of your ideas

Native Cowboy You sound like such a health nut, if you’re worried about the safety concerns of adding additional flavor to meat through the Maillard reaction then don’t eat meat. Fat is not bad and you’re batshit crazy if you think so, what you’re saying to me is that you don’t like fatty things, so don’t eat meat and start drinking skim milk.
