Hello Anna, I find your videos very useful, however what would you advise on trousers to match t-shirts uniform at work to for an IT lady. (Apologies, my English is not so good).
@@a.personofficial I'm sorry you get shamed. It's just that the super skinny body type has been elevated in fashion to the point where every other body type gets 'erased' and ignored and women just get angry and resentful. I remember when I got down to a 4 and people started making comments on my weight all the time.
Can we talk about how much more comfortable tailored pants are compared to jeans? Just the simple switch to tailored trousers makes such a big difference in looking elegant and unique!
I agree but when you have a long torso, they have to be really specifically proportioned and really only work with heels and part of the heels covered creating major issues for work travel when you want to be able to switch the flats…
Right ✅ it's make my life calmer , more patient , more carefree because I know how to live properly and understand my own value. my self esteem increased. 😍
I think the material of the jeans also makes a big difference if they can look elegant. Thin skinny jeans with a lot of spandex always look cheap, while a good quality, 100% cotton denim in a more tailored cut can look really elegant when styled properly, in my opinion! Lovely video and great advice as always! ❤️ xx
Yes! Honestly I think 1-2% spandex (and the rest cotton!!) can look fine as well. But it's funny how quickly things go down hill once the spandex content gets any higher than that, and also if the jeans are made of any blend of fabric besides just cotton.
@@Kree317 Yes, I typically make sure and go for no less than a hint of spandex due to me needing a hint of stretch for my body type and for comfort as well!✅
I used to see this one girl always in jeans and / or leggings, and this summer I saw her in a dress and I kid you not, she was GLOWING. There was an aura around her, believe me!
I love that you are thinking about women in various stages of life, Anna. Elegance is not just for women who have "arrived" financially. It's for everyone and we can ALL start being elegant exactly where we are. By doing this video, you are being inclusive towards college students, mums with young children, and women who still must do their own housework or gardening. My one addition is that we SHOULD wear a lovely belt with jeans if we are tucking our top in. Belt loops have a purpose and it looks cheap and like something is missing without a belt. Plus, if you have to bend over, a belt prevents the jeans from moving.😬 Of course, do your best to match your belt to your footwear.🇨🇦♥️
@@queenb2450 Not everyone is elegant. If you constantly insult and treat people like your servants, you're not elegant. Also people who are constantly bragging, and those who obtained their stuff by illegal means (dealers, corrupt politicians, etc).
You don't need a belt - empty belt loops are just fine. Some jeans don't suit a belt - they look dated and this rule is outdated. So I very respectfully disagree.
My older sister is god gifted with dressing up elegantly and she usually buys my outfit too that’s why I am always the center of the attention everywhere I go. I may not have the most beautiful face but I know my outfit kills everyone 🤣

I’ve been waiting for this video! My lifestyle is very very casual - I work from home and rarely go into the office, have two young children and my weekends are spent at the soccer field or out in the garden or working on fixing up my house. I live in jeans. Knowing how I can look more elegant in my jeans, since I am not giving them up, will be life-changing.
I own a lot or skinny jeans but I always wear them inside a knee high boot of some sort of pointy heeled shoe. I agree 100% that the wrong shoes can absolutely destroy your look when it comes to skinny jeans. If you want to wear ankle boots then the boot-cut jeans are the best option.
All 2021 I've been wearing dresses the more I can and just it tiny little change has improved my quality of life exponencial. Thank u so much, dear Anna. 🙏✨

LOL, I'm the same, I haven't worn jeans since... 2008! I just recently purchased my first pair of jeans in over a decade because now, they are finally making them a bit higher up on the waste, a little flared at the bottom and in dark colors. That's the only style I will tolerate, lol. Everyone else thinks I'm nuts.
The other day I went shopping and couldn't find any jeans I liked at all. It was so difficult and I went home frustrated. But after this video I feel confident and know what to look for. Thank you!
your hair looks gorgeous!!! your channel has been so helpful in helping me rethink my personal style to be more elegant, and to look more expensive and put together. thank you.
Anna is as beautiful outside as always, but find her videos from a year or two ago less critical, and more classy, with a kind attitude. That is elegant.
I have been having such an “ interesting” time trying to switch from over-casual clothing, like skinny jeans and yoga pants (as a busy single mom of young kids) to clothing that elevates, feels comfortable, and is easily affordable. I’m sure I Echo many of my sisters :) I love summer because I can just live in sundresses. Fall definitely is more challenging. It is a work in progress. ❤️✨
although I don't like jeans, sometimes I feel like it wearing them...however, I have not found the right way to buy it so that it will look good on my body shape...glad that anna is talking about it in today's video
Bootcut jeans are my favorite cut. I have two pair from Old Navy which stopped making this precise color rise style design cut and length of jean nearly seven years ago, maybe even ten years ago. They recently (2018) developed holes in the thigh areas and I was upset at the prospect of throwing them away as they fit me BEAUTIFULLY!! So I found a decently priced wedding dress tailor shop and not ONLY did she patch up the thigh area perfectly, she also hemmed them perfectly to where they're still long but don't drag on the ground. I paid $20 for this service for both pairs. When you find a cut that fits, keep them!
A DARK blue washed skinny Jean (never faded and no holes or whiskers or bling) with a dark blue suede ankle boot is one of my favorite outfits. Paired with a feminine blouse and tailored blazer can even be office appropriate. I happen to have thin legs but I'm only 5'5 and always want to look taller, so my tip. Wear the same color shoe as your jeans.
Dear Anna, I love your channel! It has helped me immensely to look and feel my best as I’m entering the world of work for the first time. However, I was wondering if you could perhaps give some advice on looking elegant in your early 20s while still maintaining a youthful element. I find sometimes I come across as older than my age due to the way I dress, and was hoping to find some tips on how dress elegantly without ageing myself prematurely. Sending my love and appreciation xxx
Dressing well, like having your hair done, makes you feel better and your energy is more confident. People notice these intangibles. Have respect for yourself. I am trying to start a capsule wardrobe and only buy high quality clothing, like cashmere, which pairs well with nice jeans and nice loafers. I agree with you, casual does not mean sloppy!
I love white colour, and most of the clothes in my wardrobe are white . And yes iam clumsy and many a times have spilled wine on my clothes but I use vanish ( stain remover) to remove the stains !! It really works ladies !!!
Oh my gosh Anna! What a relief! I ownly own one pair of blue jeans and they are wide leg and soft! Glad to hear I’m not totally inelegant just because on occasion I like to wear them! Love this video! Thanks Anna! ❤️💕
Thank you, Anna! This was so helpful! I was watching as I was in my closet getting dressed. I have about 25 pairs of jeans that I’ve accumulated over the years, and now I think I’m going to donate about 80% of them because they’re either skinny jeans, ripped, or stretchy. Not elegant! I’ve learned so much from you and appreciate your help!
Needed this video badly, and you delivered😘😍 Also Anna, please post a video on *Feminine* *Business* *Casual* ,as formal wear is no longer the norm in corporate jobs 🤎
Yes, please! I work in tech, and am trying to fit in with the leaders (guys) a bit but also look elegant. Sometimes I end up looking like I work in the marketing department though.
There is nothing better than a perfectly tailored trouser. I could own 100 pairs! I am not a fan of jeans in general. I dress them up but never feel as unique or 'put together' as when I have on a killer pair of trousers.
Agree. I love Cindy Crawford. She's the only celebrity I follow for style. I love her fashion sense, especially her casual but yet effortlessly elegant looks.
Really like the jeans as a dress idea ☺️💙 also I am glad you mentioned that jeans do give a younger feel and look; For me wearing trousers all the time I feel as if I’m dressing way older than I really am. I want to still incorporate jeans in my Wardrobe for a youthful style
I wear black on black or black with jewel tones. I am one of those women that's terrified to wear white or any light color for that matter. Bottoms, tops, jackets, and etc. I feel a little more at ease from what you said. I think I'll try incorporating more light colors in my wardrobe now.
You are finally back I missed you dear Anna 💐🌿 You are doing great work and I am happy to find you and get to learn so much about life and that too at an early stage of life 🌹🦋🌷🌱

Skinny jeans kinda work if you pair it with a nice tunic kinda top or sleeveless silk blouse ( I don’t own that many to be honest, returned a couple yesterday lol ) but I’ll be honest, i did put them away when I was 15 lbs heavier and waited for me to shrink down a bit before diving in again!
Hi Anna could you please do a video on what shoes to wear for different occasions like running errands or for different types of outfits like casual vs dressy? Thank you so much :) that’s always my problem with outfits

Oooh Anna I’ve been wearing boot cut jeans and heels for years, while friends laughed at me in their skinny jeans -- but they made my legs look like sausages-- and then flare and bootcut came back. Victory!
Through the months, I've been experimenting, Anna Bey, inspired by your videos. And I find your advices absolutely "working" - my vision and habits have become refined 💐 Every time I ask myself about the type of message that I'm sending to the others by my vision and easily find the best outfit and accessories.
Hi Anna, Love your channel especially for the fashion content. I noticed that the colours you recommend tend to look good on you (clearly a light summer type), and that most formal wear is usually made in cool colours. What would you recommend for the ladies with other colour types who might be the complete opposite of this? i.e. Really warm undertones, or people who look good in saturated/bright colours and still want to look elegant?
Anna..just one request can you please do a video on how to be elegant at home...like you just told in the video about how you manage to look so elegant at home...can you share some more ideas with us about how to dress casually and look elegant if you are staying at home on holidays and even just for the normal days 😊
Love your videos so much. Could you please make a video on how to elegantly react or respond to people when they question or frown upon a woman’s decision/choice to stay single and childfree?
Love this video! 💖 I only wear jeans when hiking, on my motorbike or doing casual things. I have been wearing more pencil skirts and 60s style dresses to elevate my curvy features. I always wesr dresses and shirts at work, out with friends and fine dining! I LOVE dressing up girlie amd classy!
At my work, we pay to wear blue jeans on Fridays as a fundraiser. It's nice to see how many of us raise money for our town. I just wish you would have given us more ideas on how to style them because I participate in the program and am stuck looking casual. I often pair them with a silk top and a nice blazer. I personally don't really care for jeans and could live without them.
Not sure if you've already done this, but could you make a video about actresses or models or celebs who you think have a very elegant dressing style and why you think so with examples? Thank you! 🌸

Yes, all Anna beys fan need this. God bless them
Thank you 😘, wish you blessings to ❤️❤️❤️
Anna is as beautiful outside as always, but find her videos from a year or two ago less critical, and more classy, with a kind attitude. That is elegant.
I love flared jeans with heels, they make me look so tall when I'm so short 😂 Thank you Anna for your tips as always
@Fatimaxn Barry yes :) paired with a long coat and a good blowout you can look like a 90s supermodel 😊
@Fatimaxn Barry thank you! I learned through the years, because I used to dress like a potato 😂
ON MY WIFE SHE LOOKS SHORT AND DUMPY WITH BELL BOTTOM FLARE JEANS
I have been having such an “ interesting” time trying to switch from over-casual clothing, like skinny jeans and yoga pants (as a busy single mom of young kids) to clothing that elevates, feels comfortable, and is easily affordable. I’m sure I Echo many of my sisters :) I love summer because I can just live in sundresses. Fall definitely is more challenging. It is a work in progress. ❤️✨
Haha, I just thought of that in summer I feel like a goddess, and then in fall I feel like a hobbit! Lol
although I don't like jeans, sometimes I feel like it wearing them...however, I have not found the right way to buy it so that it will look good on my body shape...glad that anna is talking about it in today's video
@@pratikshabanjade3259 There are enough jeans to suit ANY body shape !!!
I have a simple pair of high waisted black jeans which resembles like a pair of cigarette trousers.
Its funny that you say "only 5'5" I'm the same height and I'm very tall in my country haha
I also like that kind of outfit
@lu 5"5 is considered average in the USA.
@@tigre9271 Forget the « feminine » blouse, please…
@@tigre9271 Same color of shoes as your pants (or skirt) is a well known elongating rule. No use reinventing the wheel.
How to look elegant in jeans: Don't wear them.
😃😃😃 Anna, I love you!
😆😆😆
@@Laura-lh7xg Jeans can be I would not say elegant, but stylish. Look at Linda Wright.
I love your manicure Anna! It looks so pretty and elegant.
Anna! More Fall outfits please. I love the feminine outfits you put together and how you celebrate our feminity. Thank you! 😊
@@margarets8129 High quality does not equal cashmere. There is lousy cashmere ! And high quality merino wool !
Your hair looks absolutely gorgeous. So shiny and healthy, and I love the curls.😍
You are so effortlessly enchanting in every video 🥰 love your content, Ana 💜
Excellent, comprehensive guide! White is my favourite colour for jeans! I always feel more elevated and stylish.
@@yuppers1 and us Ladies easily end up in androgynous style with Business Casuals🙄
When was formal wear work in the office?
I second this request!!
Thank you for this! I work in a chemistry lab and wearing Jeans is kind of a necessity so these tips helped a lot.
I totally agree with you, Anna. Thanks for making this kinda content and being genuine to your audiences.
There is nothing better than a perfectly tailored trouser. I could own 100 pairs! I am not a fan of jeans in general. I dress them up but never feel as unique or 'put together' as when I have on a killer pair of trousers.
Same here.
Ann please share with me on how to choose the right hairstyle in different face shape..thanks..
One of my go to outfits is jeans with a nice blazer and pretty heels...I learned it from Cyndi Crawford and it’s always a winner 😉
Agree. I love Cindy Crawford. She's the only celebrity I follow for style. I love her fashion sense, especially her casual but yet effortlessly elegant looks.
Thank you for your advise @Anna Bey. Are you able to advise clothing and make up colour to use for people of colour.
Yes. Jeans make me look younger. Love, love, love my denim clothes! If you wear the right accessories, you will look elegantly casual 😉
Really like the jeans as a dress idea ☺️💙 also I am glad you mentioned that jeans do give a younger feel and look; For me wearing trousers all the time I feel as if I’m dressing way older than I really am. I want to still incorporate jeans in my Wardrobe for a youthful style
Thank you for making this video.
Please make a video on elegant hairstyles.♥️♥️♥️
I wear black on black or black with jewel tones. I am one of those women that's terrified to wear white or any light color for that matter. Bottoms, tops, jackets, and etc. I feel a little more at ease from what you said. I think I'll try incorporating more light colors in my wardrobe now.
Well, you look astonishing no matter what you wear, especially skirts 🙏 Great video, you always have the best ideas ❤️
Omg I love this new format!! Love that you're changing and moving to make a point
You are finally back I missed you dear Anna 💐🌿
You are doing great work and I am happy to find you and get to learn so much about life and that too at an early stage of life 🌹🦋🌷🌱
I am just 15 right now
Thanks a Lot for every single thing 😍😊

Anna - you give lots of good, common sense advice. Please keep that in mind as you progress in your channel. Many of us are older now and it is a whole different world as far as fashion is concerned, especially in America where there is so much obesity.
EXACTLY what I needed TODAY!
I like wearing jeans with a nice jacket as well, bootcut are the best! I also own a nicely tailored jean dress in a dark blue, those are perfect for traveling and sightseeing in spring 😊. Love your attitude and the way you presented this video Anna, good job 👍
Lots of love from India...Anna 😙
This video was the ultimate thing that I needed today.
Never in my life I ever thought I would see Anna wearing a skinny jeans.😂
I used to wear jeans but after I found this channel I tossed them out of my closet.. And iam not planning to wear it in the future unless it is a boot iam pairing it with
Great video anna❤️❤️❤️❤️

What do you wear instead of jeans?
@@fung8978 trousers..
@@tseringchemiyeaton3581 I hate the way jeans feel on me I always have but now I can’t stand it I feel so restricted in them !
@@fung8978yes exactly.. My thoughts
Denim is banned in the dress code at our country club.
Denim or chambray capris are perfect for an afternoon on a boat though!
@@thegillmachine who wears Jean's on a boat?
@@nosiphomadlala3918 it gets cold when you’re spending the day on one! The adult women in my family did but, as i said, it was more chambray.
Glad I’m not in your country club!
Love jeans but leggings even better but I like dressy looking ones.
@@NN-zk4uz I suspect their club is a more formal environment and jeans are usually meant to be a casual item.
Anna, may I ask you a question? I am 63 year old, very short with big cafts. Is it appropriate for me to wear cowgirl boots in winter? Regards, Annel
She's back, yey😍😍❤️❤️ I missed you on Sunday and thank you for this topic Anna 🙏😊
the LYXBAG would be super cute during the fall with a nude or tan or even tonal outfit! i’m thinking a tan wool coat with that bag!!
Anna, you really do NOT look thick, or heavier in those skinny jeans. you actually look really good!!
I agree her legs look beautiful!!
Hi Anna could you please do a video on what shoes to wear for different occasions like running errands or for different types of outfits like casual vs dressy? Thank you so much :) that’s always my problem with outfits
The video title no one predicted 😂 looking forward to this 👀
Finally the video we all needed!

Thank you for your great presentation. I do not know whether you will read my comment, but I would like to ask you one question: Which brands do you often purchase your clothes from? To be honest, I am in love with your style and choices of outfits.
As soon as I saw the title of this video,I was like I must watch it since it would be very helpful and here I am!!!
Thank you
1 question what do you where in the winter ? White is also my favorite color ❤️

Can you do a video what kind of trousers wear instead of jeans? Especially in winter. Thank you💋
Hi Anna, Love your channel especially for the fashion content.
I'm a deep Autumn myself and each time I see Summer Anna's outfits I'm like ok, but lets do the opposite and wear dark warm colors instead 😂
It very helpful that you tried on your blue jeans. Made your point clear. And proved that Anna Bey is a human after all:)))

A nice summer denim trouser for a casual Friday looks great. Summer denim is thinner that regular jeans.
Not sure if you've already done this, but could you make a video about actresses or models or celebs who you think have a very elegant dressing style and why you think so with examples? Thank you! 🌸
