It was so fun riding and hanging with you guys! Glad you caught that little endo on camera. :) That's what happens you are too tired to lift your front wheel! Thanks for sharing the Chattanooga Stoke. See you again soon!
Watching this video today before I tackle this trail today. So far I have ridden Aniston AL, Bent-creek, and today Raccoon Mountain. I guess I’m chasing Redemption 17
Loved it! That second descent where you're going over all the little jumps and you can hear Alex in the distance whooping! 😂 You guys look tired though man! Hope you got some rest in at some point in the last few weeks!
Tennessee did not disappoint! 🤘🤘🤘 Beautiful trail! "50 shades of red", I will have to use that in our 120 deg weather here in Az. lol! Thank you for sharing great trails with the world. keep up the great work.
Pain and pleasure, buddy. I could hear your suffering, hahaha. Even the gimbal called it quits! Brian, that bunny hop over the log at around 7:30 looked really good, man. You cleared it Like A Boss! Hannah and Vannah! Great to see them, and I'm relieved that Hannah's fall didn't injure her. It could've been a nasty face-plant on those rocks.
Seriously got so stoked on this! Probably my favorite video of the redemption series yet. Love the bike park videos but nothing like home grown single track! That was dope! Definitely adding these to the must ride list.
Damn those trails look amazing! And I think we've all been in the same position: Shredding with faster riders, on the brink of exhaustion, trying to hang on for dear life. Assuming you can swing it that's a great way to level up your skills. Great ride!
This video makes me feel a lot better about my first trip to Raccoon Mountain. We did 12 miles at Five Points early in the morning, then ate lunch and went to Raccoon Mountain. I knew I was in trouble when the East Rim trail was making me tired. Then we got to Live Wire 1, which was awesome. By the time we got to Live Wire 2 I was completely exhausted. All of the chunk wore me down even more. I thought maybe I was just being a pansy but after seeing you guys struggle on Live Wire 2 I feel a bit better about myself. I've been loving Redemption 2017. Great work gentlemen!
hahaha.. I love the commentary and those offs made me flinch. Especially her OTB... Did not see that coming at all. And it's awesome to see some 'pop' back in Alexanders riding. He's clearly stoking his mojo hard. The gimbals reaction to sweat was funny. Like it was drunk. 50 Shades of red-face - I can relate Knee to the Tree. I'm in no condition to go first. Bug in the mouth - Major relation to that one. I rode this when it was leafy. Crack in my frame and blown jockey wheel not slowing me down,,,, yet Getting the hot weather beat-down - I suspect the humidity did not help. Who needs that pedal. Super chunk. We run sideways seats.
Enjoyed this video very much, having just ridden Raccoon Mountain the first time this past fall. I especially enjoyed seeing Alex miss that hairpin turn to the right, b/c I missed the same turn bombing down that trail and got a good ribbing from my riding buddies. IMO the hard right is really hard to see at speed from distance and should be better marked. Glad he was ok. Absolutely loving this series. I enjoy both of you guys and your vids.
That trail looked gnarly! It's the days like this that get me to consider moving out of the south. I can't tell you how many days I either don't ride, or ride like crud and cut it short due to the oppressive heat and humidity. But y'all made it through with no injuries, so a good ride in my book.
BROS!!!!! You guys are the Bomb!! That was super awesome!! Your skills are getting better and better Dude and I am pretty stoked to see Alex not taking the super crazy lines just yet. It's all about patience and preparation so when it's time to make that leap you feel good about it, ohh and thats for both of you!! Take Easy and remember to Live-Life-Loud!!
Glad you highlighted the ticks, those little evil spawn are EVERYWHERE on Raccoon. Also nice to see you guys hit up Tremont, definitely the best burger in Chattanooga. Great video awesome that you guys got out here again.
Aww, man. Did I reach the end? I just found your channel and binged on this Redemption thing all weekend. As a budding cyclist, I've been studying up for my first big bike purchase for a few months now. I was finally set on a Diamondback Haanjo Exp Carbon, but then I happened upon your channel and that was a total paradigm shift for me. The MTB community seems so much more like "my people", and a little research on Singletracks shows enough trails in my area to keep me occupied for a while, so I think I'm gonna take the plunge on a FS bike instead!
You guys are making an epic MTB travel log. I would love to do a trip like this. I wish you guys the best out there. You are making inspiring content and the positive vibes are awesome. I hope the traveling doesn't wear you guys down too much. I think it would be great if you guys did more interviews with locals to talk MTBs and trails. Might help encourage people to get out to their local trails to volunteer and help their trails improve. Cheers!
Glad to see I wasn't the only one feeling the heat this weekend. You should get a break from the heat next week in the North Pacific. Looking forward to you and Seth's adventures.
I definitely remember some of those trails. Can't wait to get back up there to ride some of the harder stuff I didn't ride last time, but I'll wait for early fall.
Bike rack helps with shuttle runs! I can fit 2 bikes inside the van and another 2 on the bike rack. Can even squeeze a 3rd inside the van when needed...
I Reckon that Alex has got back to where he was or better pre injury. Love watching that guys playful style! Also some of that looked more like bouldering than Mountain Biking.
Love this one. Working hard at riding AND editing. Super sweet. I feel you on the sweating too... yesterday was 99% humidity up here in New Hamp. I was sweating as soon as I got out of the car. =\
Another great vid. Getting home from a ride, eating a great meal, then sitting down with a glass of wine and discovering you've released another vid... Bliss...
I think you cleaned up pretty well, Brian! Man, that heat must've been brutal... I'm originally from the south and it always feels hotter there because of the humidity and air density. I can ride when it's 90°+ here is SoCal because it's so dry... but I don't miss that humidity one bit!
This trail looks like so much fun. If you guys are ever back in Colorado I would love to meet up and show you around some fun trails. There's a trail called Hall Ranch in Lyons that has a segment titled "chicken nuggets". Right up your alley Brian.
Raccoon Mountain...most people don't even know it's true purpose. Kinda cool. My dad worked for TVA as a machinist for 33 years and spent some time in the bowels of that mountain. He has some stories. I need to go ride there, we are only about an hour away from there.
Wow man, that trails were really gnarl, i'm definitely planning to include them on my coming road trip for October. You've made me laugh so hard with your comments during the ride that i imagine me laughing all the way down while hearing you.
happy to See , Alex is getting in shape. jumping around like an happy goat ! The girl's crash was scary. She avoided a Face palm for 1 cm i think. Good she's fine ! hi Brian Great fun a always!
Good thing you got that shave it would've been 2 more lbs. added to that ride! Awesome frikin adventure and proud to be a Tennessean watching these vids.
hey Brian, I could of call that you would fall during that run..you said it before, fitness level is the main thing, you can have great bike skills and it wont matter on a tired rider..get some rest buddy, you need it and it is well deserve ! Si nice following someone how I can relate to, great job !
BKXC oh I get it ha. surprised you pushed that hard after that close call with that guy getting the handlebar puncture in his thigh a few videos ago. that would have totally messed w my head.
It was so fun riding and hanging with you guys! Glad you caught that little endo on camera. :) That's what happens you are too tired to lift your front wheel! Thanks for sharing the Chattanooga Stoke. See you again soon!
Yewwww!! So much fun, thanks for the grand tour and red carpet treatment. I'll be seeing you guys again very soon!!
Hahaha, happens to the best of us. So glad we met and got to hang out, you made it special!
That's about when it's time to quit. I carry half a banana in my pack in case I reach that point before the ride is over.
Couldn't have landed that one smoother! Literally made the ground look like a niiice soft pillow.
Yes!! Such a fun little clip!
Alex's bike has a new sound in the brakes when he hits the steep stuff; sounds like a turkey call. "Gobble-gobble"
Now that's what you call redemption! Alex was literally dancing and hoping everywhere on that trail :) You guys rocking it !!
What a sight to see him back at full force!
you guys are what inspired me to get back on my bike after two years of not riding at all. man I missed this sport
WELCOME BACK!!
Tennessee did not disappoint! 🤘🤘🤘 Beautiful trail! "50 shades of red", I will have to use that in our 120 deg weather here in Az. lol! Thank you for sharing great trails with the world. keep up the great work.
Yea I will be as well here in Odessa tx
No doubt. I refuse to ride in this crap. I'll go up to Prescott or Sedona but my riding in the Valley is over until Oct 1.
I hear you Scott! 🔥🔥🔥
Brutal heat!!
The worst part about these videos is having to scroll from one end of my subscription list to the other to keep watching. Love the videos.
Thanks Liam!!
Thanks RG! Yeah she handled it like a champ, right back up and at em.
Seriously got so stoked on this! Probably my favorite video of the redemption series yet. Love the bike park videos but nothing like home grown single track! That was dope! Definitely adding these to the must ride list.
AWESOME!! Glad you enjoyed it. I love that place
Brian, the shots when you are behind Alexander are dope! poppin', weaving and the occasional manual. F$%%ing awesome!
He was in his element!
Damn those trails look amazing! And I think we've all been in the same position: Shredding with faster riders, on the brink of exhaustion, trying to hang on for dear life. Assuming you can swing it that's a great way to level up your skills. Great ride!
Hahaha yep, only pushes you to get better!
I think that's one of best trails I've seen you ride. Perfect mix of technical and fast twisty stuff.
It was one of the best for sure!
This video makes me feel a lot better about my first trip to Raccoon Mountain. We did 12 miles at Five Points early in the morning, then ate lunch and went to Raccoon Mountain. Haha yikes, that sounds like a giant day
hahaha.. I love the commentary and those offs made me flinch. Especially her OTB... Did not see that coming at all.
And it's awesome to see some 'pop' back in Alexanders riding. He's clearly stoking his mojo hard.
The gimbals reaction to sweat was funny. Like it was drunk.

I rode this when it was leafy.
Crack in my frame and blown jockey wheel not slowing me down,,,, yet
Getting the hot weather beat-down - I suspect the humidity did not help.
Who needs that pedal.
Super chunk.

Haha love the "stoking his mojo" I gotta use that. Hahaha the BKXC quote anthology

Haha I agree, we made it out alive so it was a win!
Alex's bike handling skills are really coming to fruition! Nice riding guys!
Smooth as butter!
BROS!!!!! You guys are the Bomb!! That was super awesome!! Your skills are getting better and better Dude and I am pretty stoked to see Alex not taking the super crazy lines just yet. Thanks so much man!!
Glad you highlighted the ticks, those little evil spawn are EVERYWHERE on Raccoon. Also nice to see you guys hit up Tremont, definitely the best burger in Chattanooga. Great video awesome that you guys got out here again.
Little bastards!! Chatt was so cool

Still a couple more episodes of redemption left!! WELCOME ABOARD DUDE!!
GeetarAdam +1 full sus. Not that there's anything wrong with that other stuff.
You guys are making an epic MTB travel log. I would love to do a trip like this. I wish you guys the best out there. You are making inspiring content and the positive vibes are awesome. I hope the traveling doesn't wear you guys down too much.

I hope you are able to do it!! Good idea, dude.
What a way to start my Monday morning before work. Keep up the good "work"!
Thanks bud!!!

Chattanooga is amazing!
oh dudes. i think you went in the play ground area, i skip right by lol love that place so much, I ride up from the truck stop in town routinely. ;)
NICE!
Glad to see I wasn't the only one feeling the heat this weekend.
You should get a break from the heat next week in the North Pacific. Looking forward to you and Seth's adventures.
Can't wait!
I definitely remember some of those trails. Can't wait to get back up there to ride some of the harder stuff I didn't ride last time, but I'll wait for early fall.
Yeah man, it's a great place to test your skills
Another great trail/ride! Looks like this trip was good for Alex, his skills are on point- one with the bike.
He's back to 100%, no doubt about it!
Living the dream.
I get jelly but also inspired and motivated to commit to my dreams too! Thanks guys!
That's what it's all about dude!!
agreed.
This is the video that might actually get me off the road and into mountain biking. Man that looks like fun.
AWESOME! Much safer on the dirt!
I dream that one day I too will be able to ride trails like this but it's so scary...I can actually hear my bones break just watching you guys!
Hahaha, one step at a time!
Funny that they attach a bike rack to the van when they could simply chuck the bikes inside! Awesome vid as usual :D
Bike rack helps with shuttle runs! I can fit 2 bikes inside the van and another 2 on the bike rack. Can even squeeze a 3rd inside the van when needed...
This vid one agains proves why Tennessee is the best state! Great job on this vid
Hahaha I really loved Chattanooga!
I Reckon that Alex has got back to where he was or better pre injury. Love watching that guys playful style! Also some of that looked more like bouldering than Mountain Biking.
I think he's 100% and getting stronger every day!
rewatching the whole playlist!!!! I'm loving it
Hahaha awesome!
That trail looked gnarly man!! Great watching u guys. Looked sooo tired at the end there!
Hahaha we were knackered
Love this one. Working hard at riding AND editing. Super sweet. I feel you on the sweating too... yesterday was 99% humidity up here in New Hamp. I was sweating as soon as I got out of the car. =\
Thanks Zach!! It was a hell of a ride. That humidity is friggin' nuts.
10:35 "Aww knee to the tree, that's a new one" -LOL
Hurt like hell at the time and then never again!
Another great vid. Getting home from a ride, eating a great meal, then sitting down with a glass of wine and discovering you've released another vid... Bliss...
That last trail looked utterly amazing. Nice.
It was one of the best!
Good god! Just started mountain biking, I am addicted to your videos :D
Welcome aboard!
Wow! That looked tough!!! You boys & girl got some skills.....& BALLS!!!!
Haha, it was a tough one!
I think you cleaned up pretty well, Brian!
Man, that heat must've been brutal... I'm originally from the south and it always feels hotter there because of the humidity and air density. I can ride when it's 90°+ here is SoCal because it's so dry... but I don't miss that humidity one bit!
Just pure sweat, unreal!!
That trail looked sick! Next up you need one of those sprinter vans! Keep bringin the fire!
Alex will get a van some day! Not my style
Some rides are just grueling. Way to power through it. Glad Hannah wasn't hurt. 💪
Yeah she was a champ! Super strong rider.
The rider ahead of you went OTB so bad. I don't think I would have been able to get up and ride so quickly.
v1d300 she's tough!
Just a bruised ego! :)
It was a quick OTB but on flat. Probably not a very hard hit.
it may have been turbo hot today, but you boys were steezy as hell! back at home on thems single tracks!! get that water down You! 🤙🤙🤙🤙
Thanks Jake! It was a blast
Great work guys . . . loving the videos and the banter!
Thanks David!
Just watching your SoCal adventures . . . might just look in to a trip to the US. :)
Well getting exhausted means you gonna get stronger mate! Well done boys!
That's the attitude I like!!
Wake up in the middle of the night to watch some BKXC now back to bed!👌
Hahaha, that's dedication!
This trail looks like so much fun. If you guys are ever back in Colorado I would love to meet up and show you around some fun trails. There's a trail called Hall Ranch in Lyons that has a segment titled "chicken nuggets". Right up your alley Brian.
Definitely need to get to CO!!
Looks like @The singletrack sampler got his groove back. Great riding you guys.
He's back 100% for sure
Dang @singletracksampler! You're in the zone. 3:32. I wish I was on a bike and not a work watching this.
Haha that's the best compliment!
Brutal heat, but those trails looked like a blast!
It was so much fun!
Frickin awesome looking trails.
Thanks dude
Nice riding! It´s great that you know your limits! GJ!
Thanks Simon! Gotta know when to fold em
Raccoon looks like soooo much fun ! OMG I gotta ride that trail!
Do it!
Sweet ride. I will be in that area August-ish. Need to hit that.🤘
Nice!!
Raccoon Mountain...most people don't even know it's true purpose. Kinda cool. My dad worked for TVA as a machinist for 33 years and spent some time in the bowels of that mountain. He has some stories. I need to go ride there, we are only about an hour away from there.
I

Got to hit up Tennessee next year this trail looks awesome.
I hope you do! It's well worth it
Epic as always Brian.....proud of you😃👍
Thanks Max!
I never think of Chattanooga when I think of good riding. That looked pretty premium though.
It was too notch!
Top*
Thanks for sharing - i love these videos so much. You guys are so cool!
Thanks dude, always appreciate the comments!
Wow man, that trails were really gnarl, i'm definitely planning to include them on my coming road trip for October. You've made me laugh so hard with your comments during the ride that i imagine me laughing all the way down while hearing you.
HahHa awesome, glad to give you a few chuckles. I hope you make it to Raccoon. It's awesome.
You guys look like you go so much faster than I do without even trying. I need to step my game up!
Haha, speed on the ole GoPro is a funny thing sometimes!
happy to See , Alex is getting in shape. jumping around like an happy goat !
The girl's crash was scary. She avoided a Face palm for 1 cm i think. Good she's fine ! hi Brian Great fun a always!
He's ready to rock! Thanks Ivan
That climbing, slow-speed OTB is why I keep riding flats.
So much fun watching this one!!
Glad you liked it!! I had a ton of fun riding it
Intense ride Brian, awesome track, freaking good vid:)
It was a GREAT one!!
love watching your videos feel like im riding with you guys.
Awesome!!
Good thing you got that shave it would've been 2 more lbs. added to that ride! Awesome frikin adventure and proud to be a Tennessean watching these vids.
HahHa serious weight savings
Many technical section! Wow! Amazing!
Thanks dude!
0:40 Brian is so creature friendly, that an ant is cutting his hair! Alex must have his godly hands in this. ;-p
Haha
That looks like a great trail!
It is!
WOW!!! Just about the time I was like...Look at Hannah getting it!!! Out the front door!!! She made it look good though!!
Haha, danger at every turn!
Nice riding, Alex was ripping it up. Just out of curiosity wats the remedy for cracked frame ? Can you do like a Epoxy carbon repair, or something?
Thanks dude! Remedy = buy a new one
Hey Brian, any idea what your next bike will be? Great ride, loved it. Keep them coming!
If I had to pick right now it'd be the SB6
Can't believe you took the time to reply, very cool. I'm looking into buying a new bike and wanted your feedback. Thanks and love your videos.
hey Brian, I could of call that you would fall during that run..you said it before, fitness level is the main thing, you can have great bike skills and it wont matter on a tired rider..get some rest buddy, you need it and it is well deserve ! Si nice following someone how I can relate to, great job !
Thanks Sebastien, I'm rested and ready to go again!
I don't think I've ever seen bkxc bonk like that before. if the trails look that intense on camera they must have been crazy in person.
I took it down a notch to make sure I didn't die!
BKXC oh I get it ha. surprised you pushed that hard after that close call with that guy getting the handlebar puncture in his thigh a few videos ago. that would have totally messed w my head.
You guys were going hard that last week. Did you have any rest days? The mountain is pretty cool.
Loved it once again great job 👍
Thanks dude!
10:21 HA HA HA ! so funny, first time I heared it.
Very nice, great riding
Thanks Scott!
love me some raccoon awesome vid cool to see you guys ripping my local trails
Nice!! I really love that place
Have you ever thought of using/making a sweat protector for the gimbal?
Yeah, it's tough to do it without interfering with the movement!
your commentary while riding is great 😂
Thanks a ton!
How are you liking the rockshox VS the DVO? video maybe?
I'm not pro enough to really tell the difference
BKXC you should come down to the NW (WA) . We and couple of friends can go to
-Tiger Mountain
-Black Diamond
-360
-Duthie Hill
Good suggestions!
Was cool watching alex do his waltz!!!
He's Mr. Twinkletoes!
thanks, great video, as always
😬👍
great vid B😆 is your frame company going to cover the damaged swing arm
$400 crash replacement
What sunglasses do you wear Brian?
Some cheapos I found at Kohl's. They're about to fall apart already.
That was bloody awesome!!
Thanks dude!
Heat is an every day reality here in TX. Stay hydrated!
No doubt about it!!
3:03 "get out there and give'r bud!"
Hahaha yes
Hi Brian, quick Q....how often do you clean your links and pivot on your Bronson (since you ride a lot)? Thanks.
Never?
3:30 to 3:40 sampler was shredding like a boss
He's baaaaaaack
I am curious if Santa Cruz is going to replace your bike because ad the cracked frame? Looking into possible getting the Hightower.
Crash replacement, $400
BKXC

STS is back!
FULL SPEED AHEAD

How far across the country are you guys going? Are you going to make it to Washington state eventually?
We finished in Georgia!
