This was awesome! We’ve got so much epic trail between Bristol and Chattanooga…East TN is really expanding the range of Southeast mountain biking at a wild pace. Such a good time to live here!

Grew up while all these trails were getting build. White oak is my home trail system. It's great. Raccoon is probably my favorite. It's such a shame that Waldens is getting sabotaged by the city to try to get it closed. It's a great build. I wish somehow sorba was able to keep it and not give it to the city to manage.
Unfortunately, Chattanooga is one of the best kept secrets in MTB. My son and I love it. We live in NC. I like Pisgah and whatnot more so than the next guy, but Chattanooga is a completely different type of ride. Very cool town, very cool people, very cool trails. We can't get any of our friends to go with us. Will keep trying. Going to share this video with our buddies.
The southeast riding is definitely under appreciated. Tennessee,Alabama and obviously North Carolina has some incredible riding! Georgia needs to step it up they have the terrain.
Cloudland Canyon and various trails connecting on Lookout Mountain (spanning the state line) are quite good in Georgia. Certainly others in GA are good options as you get closer to Atlanta, too (like Allatoona Creek Bike Park). Don't forget Jarrod's Place (though not free).
Yeah I think GA had a ton! Sope, blankets, rope, bearhoti, Jake and bull, buzzards roost, Allatoona, Jarrod’s place, pine mtn, big creek, Stanley gap, Cochran mill, and much more! Check out Gnar Gnomies mtb podcast to hear more about ga mtb!
@@danielstewart6647 bear creek might be the most overhyped trail I’ve ever ridden…Pinhoti sections were definitely much better. I don’t think Georgia has no riding by any means that’s actually where I started riding. Allatoona was first place I ever truly rode MTB. Georgia has riding but with the terrain it has I feel like it’s lacking a lot compared to Tennessee or even Alabama.
Your trails look great! I started building my own trail last year, by myself, but then I started riding the local trails and realized I could never build anything as long as what was already here in Reno Carson Lake Tahoe.
yep I remember the barn wire strung across the trails on lookout mountain. the 2x4s with nails. my car tires getting slashed. skills. Barry. David h. Scott and rich m. those were days of Prentice Cooper. the doodle bug trail and the such creek classic race. hope all are doing well.
