Thank you so much for your hard work on this. I was figuring it all out by ear, then found your wonderful transcription. You saved me. hours of work! It is such a fun bass line to play. I was so glad you even got the triplets and grace notes notated! I very much appreciate you sharing this!
Flawless Victory! Wow. I don't think my fingers could handle hitting those heavy strings at that speed. I would be so sore but you never know until you try. Thanks for sharing with the tab.
Been going through your videos and man they are amazing. Love your playing and song choices too. You mention that you play with flats? Favourite brand for flatwounds? Cheers from Vancouver!
It’s surprising how easy this song is on bass, considering the guitars are galloping and the drums are doing the 16 beat double bass fills in the bridge and outro. You would think that Cliff put a lot more into it, with seeing how the other bassists have, but he didn’t.
It really depends on the effect you want to achieve. More repeated notes bring more texture when clanky and attack (and it sounds particularly good when the bass drum is locked in with the bass), while it sounds groovier and the low end has more time to resonate with less notes, actually making everything sound heavier and solid in certain contexts. It is a matter of choice, as the bass not always "needs" to perfectly mimic the guitar.
Awesome cover I ll try to learn it , I'm learning bass thanks to ure channel, I had a request it was the mission impossible theme by limp bizkit if u can( on a 4 chord bass) Thanks so much
@@FusilliJerryBass Same! I am also a bass player and have been trying to gallop this for years. Some guys/gals can do it. I can for a bit then I get tired and lag behind. Haha. There are some pretty excellent covers online where they do the gallop.

Nicely done. Sounds good finger style too.

He played what the song needed i gurantee you he tried doubling the guitar before coming to the conclusion this was a better choice.

Hope you're okay!
You used to play guitar, now you are in the Bev cult saying “horizontal”, “level”, “parallel” 100s of times a day. Great life choice.
PLEASEEEEE FOR « BLANCO PALAMERA AIRE » it’s really musique
Why did you leave us high and dry in official flat earth discord?
Hi! anyone knows what notation program he uses?
Guitar pro 6
Do you know Biarnel bass ?
Love that I drove you off discord. Easy work.
Is this a prelude to the entire Puppets album and more like the RATM series!!!
I thought that bass did the same galloping as the guitars.. Nice cover though.
I thought the same thing for a long time until the isolated bass tracks started circulating around UA-cam. Thanks for watchin brutha.
