Just heard it last night at the University of Victoria winter concert. Choir members raised photos of those passed. There wasn't a dry eye to be found. Gorgeous piece.
We are going to sing this for our Spring concert for our contribution to our city's Bicentennial. We are using it to recall all those who have gone before us to dream and create our city into the community it is today. I lost my dear mother and father last year and I will be singing it for them. The words about wanting to share with them the happy moments... Really hits hard. Can't tell how many times I think about calling them with the big and small parts of my life like I used to do... I miss them so much... 🥲
