Dave, great video! You are correct, clutch control using the friction zone is the absolute key to success. I'm new to adventure riding but have been riding my whole life. A lot of road touring, trail, enduro, and single track in Colorado. I bought a 97 R1100 GS 1 1/2 years ago and having a blast. But I have to say, the GS is way different than my YZF426. I don't feel nearly as confident on the GS than the YZ. Mostly the weight difference, but some suspension, some age (63). It won't stop me because I still love the dirt. I'm in Arizona.
It's looks great! I have only sat on one. There seems to be a few issues according to others. ... however, if I were looking for another GS(A) I would not hesitate to get the 1300 ... thanks for watching!
Great Video Dangerous. Can you do a tutorial on how to throw a leg over and exercise the option on the GS?
Enjoyed the video Dave! Some great tips there... Regards from Melbourne Australia 🙂
