All while riding on his trusty steed that is the Honda CRF300L.
Hope you enjoy the adventure!

Question!
Would any of you be interested in a riding event put on by Riley and me?
Yes! 💯
Awesome! Good to know 😬
Yes!
I would be. Contact info in my description.
yes but i live in france so...
There really is something magical about riding a cheap and cheerful, light, slow bike -- you summed it up so well.

Damnit. I don't even have a licence. Why am i watching this? Now I have to make it, explain myself to my wife, buy a CRF, move to the countryside where I can happily ride it, quitt my job to have time for it, teach the kids at home...but I guess it's worth it, right?
Yeahh my dream
Still riding my 1973 honda motosport 250. I was 14 years old when this sl version came out, and now I'm 64 years old still enjoying it just as much.. Great video.
Some things last for ever. Honda bikes are one of them
Wish I had my 1974 Kawasaki 250 Enduro used to ride that in the early mid-80swhen I was 15 my brother got it.. he just stripped it and took it to the junkyard. Nothing wrong with it.
That is so awesome, Hondas just go forever with the right care. I'm 65 and really regret selling my XR500A many decades ago, they fetch really big money now. Regards from New Zealand.
How many miles does it have?
Can I be like you when I grow up?
A great watch, Im running out of excuses to not buy a 300
I have one for sale in California!
I have one and love it! Came from riding sport bikes if that matters.. lol
i have the same engine on my cb300r (just with few extra hp at high RPMs), nice little engine, quite responsive and very very low consumption
Buy it. I did an imulse buy and had immediete regret. After 15 min of riding, zero regrets. I'm going to buy another for friends to ride
Buy it! Great bikes
At 67 I love my CRF300L ! It is a nimble little bike! 6FT4 245!
How does the suspension do with your weight? I'm 6ft 1 about 255. Love the idea of having one of these but feel like I might be too big
Just admiring the amazing scenery there from my sofa in "sunny" England
Well don’t tell anyone but we are over here sitting in the snow.. so I know how ya feel
In the same way a new puppy helps relieve the pain of losing a beloved dog, this 300 might help me get over the guilt of letting my WR250R go to another home.
I saw all the videos that are actually availlable on line about the magic Honda CRF 300 L; so far you have done the very best job! Amazing review, complete and professional, amazig landscapes and amazing movie montage. Well done.
Great profile of this excellent dual sport! This is one of the motorcycles that just brings back the joy of riding that we all fell in love with to begin with. Bigger, faster and flashier is not always the thing that makes the experience better. This bike reminds me of the Honda 185 I had many years ago that was just a great bike. Your video production is beautifully done. The videography is great with stunning views and the calm narration is tremendous. Overall just flawless, keep up the good work!
This is the greatest crf300 video I've ever seen.
Respect from thailand.🙇♂️
Wow! Thanks so much from Canada!
Agreed 💪🫶
Hello, a really great video! After 35 years, I got back into motorcycling with the CRF 250L. This motorcycle is really a great piece that will stick with you through thick and thin. Easy to drive, good-natured and robust. Thanks to this machine, I found joy in motorcycling again and am now riding the new Benelli TRK 700X. Kind regards from far away Germany.😉🏍
Thanks for sharing.. I've been riding my CRF300L for about 8 months now and looove it...
That’s awesome to hear it
Incredible video Blake! It was a blast riding and filming with you 🤠🌾🏍️
Yeah man!! Can’t wait to do more filming. Thanks for the tour :)
Dude, when do I get to ride with you guys?
Let's do it! @advriley@@MOBStreet83
@@MOBStreet83 we should come down to Utah and ride with you in the sand
What a place to ride a motorcycle !!!! beautiful scenery 👍👍👍👌👌👌 ....
It’s all so beautiful around there :)
Got my license few days ago. Thrilled about getting my first bike to go travel. Any CRF seems like just what I need and can afford.
Lovely video
It’s probably good for a first bike. I was expecting a different ride. Had they let me test ride it before I bought it I would not have bought it. If I were you I would look into something like a Suzuki SV650. That’s a street only bike, but proven reliability. It’s plenty fast for a new rider and the power is easily handled as well. And it’s cheap. If you get a CRF300 you will be wanting something with more power for traffic in no time. Not to mention a light weight bike like a CRF300 can be terrifying for a new rider on the highway. You get blown all over the highway because it’s tall and very light. The center of gravity will have you teeter tottering in the wind and that will make you not want to ride it on windy days.
@@Nine_883
Hi there..
Ive had some scepticism on the rather low cc too. I bet you have a valid point in regards of wind too. Will keep that in mind. Thx for the consideration
I actually did my license on the sv650 and absolutely loved it.
However, Ive been long-distance bicycle travelling a lot for a decade and so and seek to take it further on a MC. So I need something that´ll be reliable on gravel roads and taking to a forest for camping etc.
I know this bike might not be the most exciting on the highway but on the other hand ADVs often seem a bit heavy and pricy.
Thought about short-term renting some different bikes throughtout the year before deciding
i’ve got the previous generation of the bike - a 2018 crf250L, and it is everything i want in a bike. i grew up on dirt bikes riding trails/gravel roads, so i really wanted a bike that wouldn’t make me give that up. sure, it’s cruising speed is a little low (which is why i’m eyeing the 300 for that small boost in power), but it is incredibly relaxing and freeing to ride, you stop focusing on going fast and can cruise while appreciating the beauty of nature around you, which i think is amazing
Great video, I bought one of the last 250L’s and love it! It has taken me places I would have never found on a bigger bike.
It’s true, these small bikes will go almost anywhere!
Fabulous scenery and disarming humor. Thanks for the ride, Blake.
moto heaven,if there is such a place. think a few folks will purchase this motorcycle after watching your video. Honda should thank you.
Great video! Just picked my CRF300L up from the dealership today to compliment my Tiger 800 xCx when I want a lighter bike on the dirt roads and trails. I was only able to put 40 miles on it this afternoon, but loving it so far! Obviously not as powerful as the Tiger (which is an awesome bike), but it is 150 pounds lighter!
I've also got the Tiger xcx and thinking of the 300L as a second bike. I'd love to know more details of your thoughts and experience comparing the two and how they may compliment each other. I'm 6.2 and 100kg so I was worried about the bike maybe being too small. I've never ridden the 300L or even seen one in person as they get sold before even landing in the country here in South Africa. Besides being an alternative bike I am hoping to build skill and confidence on the smaller 300 which may translate to my XCX. If you willing to share, I'm all ears.
Hey Brett, I don’t have as much experience on the 300L as the original commenter but I am 6’2” as well and actually found the bike pretty comfortable. You could always add risers if you felt the need but I was pretty comfortable riding it for those two days and and off road. If I owned it I would do stiffer springs first.
@rangeroadmoto thanks bud, really appreciate the comment and advice.
I only have about 450 miles on the CRF300L so far versus 7,500 on the Tiger. It definitely took me a few miles just to get used to how differently the much lighter bike handles and reacts to minor inputs. I hadn’t ridden a small bike in over 35 years. I have had it off pavement mostly on dirt roads and forest service roads, so haven’t thoroughly thrashed it but even with my heavier than average weight, it does fine on those types of roads. I was wondering how it would do as a street bike on twisties when I take it to our cabin in the mountains vs the Tiger and I have been pleasantly surprised. While it certainly doesn’t compare to riding the much more powerful Triumph, it is was still extremely fun due to its lightweight and flickability. A buddy met me for a ride on Saturday on his Street Triple and I wasn’t sure I’d be able to keep up with him, but it really wasn’t an issue. I can do a few mph over 70 mph on flat pavement, sitting straight up so never really got left behind on the curves. I am 5’11” and about 30-40 pounds heavier than you and it has been comfortable enough for 2-3 hour rides, but it certainly isn’t as comfortable as my Tiger which I can ride all day without my backside protesting.
Another video that was a pleasure to watch, The little Honda looks like a blast to ride! Keep up the hours in the editing room!!!
Appreciate that Troy! The little Crf was a good time man!
FANTASTIC video Blake - well done!! Looking forward to the next one! Amazing cinematography as usual! Please keep up the great work!
Thanks so much! I will keep it up indeed
Fantastic case for the wonderful little 300! Thanks for sharing this!
Thank you :D
Beautiful videography. Thank you for taking us along on your adventure
Thank you for watching!
That bike look like fun, thank you for great scenery
Fantastic video! Loved the drone shots and the editing is top notch. Perfectly timed as well with all of that show!
Thanks so much! This was one of my favourite areas I’ve filmed in. Just so beautiful.
Great video! Keep making them.
Great video. Appreciate the bike review and the scenery.
Great video! I just bought a 300l Rally a couple of weeks ago. My first bike ever..... Looking forward to the new adventure chapter in my life :)
Excellent video! Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
I ride (tour) a BMW1200GS. Absolutely love it. Just bought Christmas 300L so i could stay profecient, ride daily...700 trail miles since Christmas day and i absolutely have fallen in love with this bike. Going to buy another so friends can go with.
Sir, I got introduced to your channel by the algorithm and I'm now subscribed. You're on par with fortnine on cinematography. I wish all the success to you and the channel.
Dang man I really appreciate that! Im a huge fort9 fan (as probably every rider out there is :P)
Likewise
Outstanding perspective on the Honda and its capabilities. Thank you for sharing! :)
Great vid, beautiful filming and a good insight into the 300L
Amazing video - scenery is outstanding and filming! Turned 50 last year and decided to treat myself and bought a bike (after 16 years without one). Bought an inexpensive used Vulcan to get back into riding, but now I so want a dual sport - your vid has pretty much convinced me the CRF300L will be what I'm spending my money. Newly subscribed, keep up the GREAT work!
That’s awesome! Dual sporting is so much fun, really opens up a whole new world. Enjoy! And thanks for subscribing :)
Fantastic video! The scenery was breathtaking! 😎👍
Awesome video! Pacing along with videography and writing was very well done :) If there were any trails in my area this bike would definitely be at the top of my list.
Loved the video man. Great job
Very well done brother! God bless.
Great cinematography throughout‼️… keep it up. Really enjoy seeing that you have a lot of great Alberta content & are proving exposure through your experience & lens‼️…. Very much enjoyed the review of the CRF 300 as well as credit to Riley Adventures👍👍👏👏
I agree 100% Jason!
Great ride along and commentary. Agree w/ all points. The CRF300 brings the enjoyment of riding back the horsepower wars of the big bikes have taken away.
I upgraded forks w/ full cartridge KTech and a KTech rear. World of difference and fully tunable.
Safe adventures on capable bike is what i like . This bike is brilliant.
Great video! Very high production value for such a small channel. Wish you all the best!
Great video, thanks for all the hard work!
Thank you! And thanks for watching
Great video. Been looking at getting one of these. Thanks for the sharing. Great drone shots!
Great video excellent review. Can't wait to see your Kove 450 video you mentioned, I am loving mine
The twenty seconds of footage that begins at 1:25 really gets your gears going 🤩-makes you think I WANT-great video
i just hope they make 400cc model.
Wouldn’t that be the 450rl?
As always, the video was just like a sunday morning cartoon, and i loved every second of it 😊
Thank you so much Wolfgang! I hope you had your favourite bowl of cereal to go along with it
Impressed with the videography and detailed information. One of the best bike reviews I have ever seen. Superb.
Appreciate the kind words friend!!
Great job, entertaining, quality work, thanks !
Thank you for watching!
Great video! Thanks for taking the time to post
Oh thank YOU for watching! Really appreciate the kind words
Had mine for 18 months. Excellent bike. Thanks for the well done video.
That’s awesome! I think it’s gonna be a bike people keep for a long time.
Beautiful footage, great video. Thanks. As an American visitor, I have enjoyed the Alberta landscapes very much.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! Yeah Alberta gets overlooked by a lot of people but I do love it here. Thanks for watching
Super nice shots
Beautiful work. Mucho respect 🙏👍
That scenery is unreal! I gotta make it up north on the bike next season for sure! Great video dude!
Heck yeah let’s ride!!
Great work guys love it
Thank you for watching :D
Amaing video man. Thank you for making this!
Thanks so much man!
Appreciate the kind words
Nice video, liked the pace and gorgeous footage!
very nicely done chaps, nice flow, great scenery. Mellow vibe just like the Honda...yo from NZ
What a fantastic video 📹 thoughtful contribution and opinion. Also the beautiful scenery and well crafted video and vo. A marvel. Thank you so much.
Thanks for the great Canadian review. Nice bike, beautiful country.
Nice video - production value is off the charts! Had no idea parts of Canada looked like that. That shot where the drone is going over the grass by the wind turbines and then the bike comes into the frame, is money.
I got one and became a kid again. Worth every dime
Thats a small price to pay for getting your youth back!
Holly cow, was this wonderfully cinematic! Watched it with real pleasure!
Even more so, being a proud and happy owner of 300L myself. I can totally agree with all your remarks - it may not be a beast, but a wonderfully reliable, confidence-inspiring tool.
Wish you many wonderful adventures!
Greetings from Poland!
Thanks for all the kind words! Is there good off road riding in Poland?
Just a terrific ride. Yup felt it.
beautifully filmed!
Great video ! Thanks and keep up the good work. Greetings from The Netherlands
One of the best videos about bikes I have ever seen. Fantastic footage. That bike is awesome, light, nimble, reliable and nice to look at. A real dual purpose motorbike that makers do no want to produce... so we might discover that a 25cv/135 kg bike is more capable than a 125cv/250 kg monster.
Bought a 250 last summer! Absolutely love it… maybe in a few years I’ll spring for a 300.
Thx for the video and for sharing your experience. I have thought about buying the crf300 myself as a 2nd bike. Your video answered many questions that I had. Gorgeous landscapes in Canada!
Glad I could help! Yeah this part of the country is amazing, and empty!
Man what great video, I want to ride all of that landscape 👍
This was calming to watch
That’s nice to hear :)
Great video, congrats!
Great review
This is a cinematic masterpiece; really enjoyed it!
Thanks Jon! Appreciate the kind words
I had a 250L for 6 years it was great. These 300L's are even better!
Great production, man!
Thank you, excellent video and review.
Thanks for watching!
Yes Sir! What a great bike.
Yes indeed!
Great video mate, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!

beautiful camera and editing work!!!
This video made me so jealous. How beautiful!
It’s an amazing part of the province that’s for sure
Fantastic video mate! I think once I get my hands on one these bikes I'll have my easy going unicorn
Great video and review.
Thank you! Appreciate that
Killer videos man, it reminds me of when fortnine used to actually review bikes.
Beautiful video!
What you describe of the riding experience reminds me of when I was a kid riding my Honda xr80 after school.
I think that’s a perfect description!
Greetings from the UK. Great video!
Inspiring video, thanks for the content!
Thanks for watching!
loved it!
beautiful plateaus and valleys !
It’s such a beautiful place!
Amazing video.
Enjoyed your honesty 👌
Thanks for watching :)
First time on this channel, beautiful and interesting video! Thanks
Thanks so much! Glad you found it!
Love the intro. I actually laughed out loud.
Very enjoyable! I’m still blasting about on my 96 XR250R, but one of my sons has a CFR and it is pretty much what you describe in this video.
Thanks for a great video!👍
Glad you liked it!
