Also, we will provide riding and safety ideas ... I currently ride a BMW 1250 GSA and a 2008 Gold Wing. I started riding motorcycles at 60 years of age ... bought the Gold Wing as my very first bike ... LOVE the GW! After about 5 years .... bought the BMW 1250 GSA for off-road riding .. fireroads, two-tracks ... not super difficult riding.

Переглядів 1,7 тис.День тому
When I first received the Lone Rider Rackless MotoBags... I struggled for a bit learning how to close the bags ... the Lone Rider MotoBags are so amazing ... the way they close and then able to place a pad lock on the bags themselves ... AWESOME! I watched a few videos on closing the bags ... they simple were not clear enough for my "A.D.D. Brain" :). I mastered the art of closing these amazing...

Rabaconda Tire Changer - Does it Work?
Переглядів 7392 місяці тому
In this video, I'm tackling the rear tire change on my Goldwing using the Rabaconda Tire Changer for the first time. I've used this tool on my BMW 1250 GSA with no issues-it made the whole process surprisingly effortless. However, the Goldwing's rear tire posed a different kind of challenge. The size and structure of this tire require a bit more finesse, and there was definitely a learning curv...

That buckle design sucks! I love Mosko Moto but they need to use giant loops design for refueling
IM BUYING A 2020 R 1250 RS SAME ON THAT ONE?
Same suit, been wearing it for years. I also have the LD comfort underneath, hot or cold.. Ride safe
Thanks for watching!
Hello! I am trying to make up my mind between the SRS and the TA. Had the bike stall on me and fall over(engine break really caught me off guard), but the bike fell on my foot and hurt me quite badly. The srs seems like the sole is harder like a really hard plastic and the TA sole looks more like a softer rubber. But the SRS to me looks like it could be very slippery on concrete imagine like an underground parking or something. What is your opinion of the TA and side protection with a blunt crushing force?
Some good tips there, that Lone Rider Motobags users would appreciate. Stay upright mate. Regards from Melbourne Australia! 🙂
Otherside of the globe! Thanks for watching@
I'd say that if any adv gear lasts 100k you've more than got your money out of it.
Great channel!
Thanks! I'm your newest sub ... you're a great story teller ...
Dios mio Gracias
Hey DD great vid, you made my mind up, these are the ones i need, in the uk we call suspenders. braces, no buddy i dont know why !
The braces makes it all fit great! Thanks for watching!
I currently have the tractionator adventures on my bike and although they are great off road, they sound like tornado sirens at highway speed. I'm torn between these and the trailmax missions. Thanks for the review
I love that my x large helmet fits in the right side when expanded. So far my bags have been great!
I bought mine about 6 months ago and I love my Sargent Seat for my 2024 BMW 1250 GSA. I also bought the backrest and it is awesome too.
I may get that backrest for the BMW... I have a back rest on the GW ... love it. Thanks for watching!
I had the same view about the Vario System. Fortunately, my used GSA came with the top loading aluminum cases which are keyed to my fob. They are very sturdy and roomy, as well as easy to take on and off, but pricey.
My cases came with the bike ... I'm surprised how expensive they seem to be on Ebay, etc.. Thanks for watching!
This video seems incomplete.
It is ... kind of meant to be. As i have a Part 2 coming out with the "solution" to what I'm looking for in regards to panniers for street ridinf .... thanks for watching!
Hi Dave. Reach out to ADV Motorrad…great guys. Check out the Bumot Defender EVO panniers for your 1250 GSA, they are fantastic. I picked up a set of “blemished” panniers for mine (they claim small scratches, not that I could find any), fitment is perfect, top loading, optional interior lid organizers and made to fit inside pannier travel bags. No molle but you can strap on top of lids (corner mounting points).
I didn't know the vario bags fit on the the GSA, will look for them! Let me know if you want to sell yours any time in the future😂I assume the top box fits too!
Thanks for watching! I do not have the top box. I recently purchased a top box and panniers for the "solution" (for me). I will be posting a Part 2 to this video in a few weeks. Again, thanks for watching!
@@dangerdave8080 Also, There is no modification needed to fit these on the GSA right? other than getting rid of the racks?
Haha, Dave! It aint russian! Mosko!
LOL ...it's a bad habit im working on🤣🤣🤣
Really detailed presentation, thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Great review. I like how you did this outdoors next to your bike. Indoors reviews of suits just isn't the same for me. I've had a Roadcrafter since around 2007ish. Great suit. Four or Five years ago I wanted to try a two piece suit for the reasons you mentioned about slipping in and out of the jacket or just riding in lighter riding pants. I bought a Klim Badlands Pro Jacket & Pants set. First, I have an issue, I never want to stop when I'm riding. So, I never take the time to stop to stow the pants. Plus, then I have to stow them somewhere. When I have had to wrestle my bike off the ground and taken the jacket off, I'd wished the pants were off too. I can take the whole one piece Roadcrafter off in just a few seconds more than taking the jacket off. Thats been my findings with switching to a heavy two piece suit. My one gripe about the RC is poor waterproofing in this older suit. wet crotch syndrome. I still have the RC and I've been donning it more often these days. If I could lose some weight I'd have justification to buy another RC!
LOL! I, too, have tried some 2 piece gear... but, keep going back to the Stich ... it's so easy to get on and off! Thanks for watching!
Is it fully waterproof?
Nice guy
I was thinking about dropping the funds on an aerostitch, and this convinced me; reminds me of all the stuff I used to do to stay cool on job walks in the oil field. Good stuff.
It's a great product!
I'll put these on the Ibex 800T and give them a try. If you can get 10,000 it's just as cheap as other less expensive tires.
Is there a seat made for Ducati v4 front only
Well done, but that's a lot of work for $25!
Hello Dave, along with the part 1 of this 2 part video on the Motoz GPS a very interesting and well done review. I'm considering replacing the current TKC 70 Rs on my 1250 GSA with the Motoz and was wondering whether with the rear tyre fitted in the mainly off road direction has the amount of wear suffered any more than in the 50/50 fitting when riding mainly on the highway? thank you. Max Australia
The E1 is a fantastic helmet. Still widely available at a discount. The peak comes off for me. The small amount of shade doesn't seem worth the buffet/wind noise. This kid works great with both flavors of comm/Bluetooth audio.
This is good ... thanks!
Glad you like it!
are the knee protectors adjustable?
Does the mic bother you when wearing?
Good question. Sometimes the dead cat will tickle ... but, most the time it's out of the way. To answer your question ... nope ... it's does not bother for what I do. THANKS!
@@dangerdave8080 Ok
Hey danger Dave why can’t you say the name right, it’s said moss co not moss cow
I know right! Lol ... i need to work on that ... 😅
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The pants were falling down, he added suspenders, problem solved boom saved you 13min ;)
I assume you didn't watch ANY of the how to videos on UA-cam, because you did EVERYTHING wrong
Why would u want to change your own tires? You still have to have them balanced
@kenertoy58 Thanks for watching. On the GW I have Centramatic Wheel balancers ... they work really well. On the 1250 GSA ... I use balancing beads.
Only one "m" in limited. ....I don't know, man, that thing is pretty flimsy for your GW wheel. I could see myself getting hurt. Just one slip. Probably be handy for dirt bikes, etc. AFA the comment about the bead stretching with some heat... I hope not. Perhaps the rubber lip gets s little softer. The circumference better stay the same on my bike after some miles.
Nice tool to scratch up all your wheels.
Clearly this tire changer has a design issue. Why would they design a bend on the leverage bar facing downwards. The bend creates a leverage facing the floor instead of perpendicular to the tire to get the utmost leverage behind it. Also, the bend prevents using a cheater bar for more leverage. Makes you wonder what were the designers smoking at the time or more appropriately they themselves never use their own creation.
You've gained a ton of subscribers since in the last few months. What would you attribute that growth to? It doesn't seem to be tied to a specific video release that I can see. Gratz on the success.
That's a bit of a story. I monetized and all was going well. Then Google/UA-cam switched systems and I needed to go to AdSense to enter some info .. I did it incorrectly .. now I'm in a waiting period of 32 days and in these days I am not monetized. I know the mistake I made and will be corrected in 10 more days. So ... out of curiosity I experimented with the "Promote" button on a video ... that is to say I "promoted" a video ... paid ($100.00) for it be shown to more people ... to my surprise gain like 800 subs ... good. But, those subs and hours watched do not count towards monetization or revenue ... which I knew ... I'm in the "penalty box" for a dumb mistake .. therefore, I tried it. The video was Motoz Tractionator GPS Tire - Mostly Off Road. So .. "organically" I have about 2,600 subscribers. THANKS for the question I hope this long winded explanation helps.
I like to put my wheels and tires in the sun for a couple of hours before trying to remove the old tire, that's what I find helps. Sometimes you just get a wheel and tire that has been on for 20 years and is "glued" on there and the side wall is a rock.
I have an R3 and a Darien 2 piece. The R3 is for quick trips or commuting. The Darian is my touring rig .
The Aerostich stuff is soooo good!
Because it’s a honda POS There is no reason that rear tire should be so difficult, Honda is known for being poorly designed
Getting the tire on and off the bike was fairly straightforward ... I have used the Rabaconda tire changer several times for the tires on the BMW 1250 GSA ... pretty easy. This was the first time I changed the tires on the Goldwing ... heavier bike requires a much "stiffer" side wall ... I made it look difficult :). Next time will be much easier and quicker. Thanks for watching !!!
Sure... is that the best you can offer? Blame it on the bike mfg.?
The struggle was with the operator LOL ...
I think you are supposed to remove the center panel at the license tag and roll it out the back.
Yes. However, I installed a Rico Trailer Hitch and makes it a little more challenging, therefore, I tried the “lay down method. Laying the bike down worked fine … but … there is something weird about laying the bike down … LOL.
Great vid. Can you show how the zippers on the legs work? Concerned about the legs staying cool in hot Texas weather. Thanks.
The zippers on the legs will always be in the zipped up position. Here is a shirt video of how the suit goes on and off ... ua-cam.com/video/LZ-nn6fgKa8/v-deo.html
How’s shifter and rear brake pedal feel with the TA vs the Adv boot?
Great question! For sure, the ADV provides more immediate feedback. The TA much less at first ... however, after a long ride, you manage to develop a feel ... after 3-4 rides it's not an issue at all. Hope this helps.
I prefer hiding the emergency key on the bike in a location that the bad guys would have a hard time to find. I don't like carrying the emergency key in my jacket because depending on the weather I may use a different jacket and it would be easy to forget the key. I keep the key fob in the key compartment in the front of the tank, and only remove it if I park away from my garage. BTW, what you described as a rusty grommet is in fact an O-ring and its function is to seal the battery compartment from water intrusion. O-rings come in different colors, but black, brown, and orange are the most common colors.
Geezer is the King öf Heavy Metal Bass..
I think it’s more about the front tire than the rear.
I am now 58 and mostly ride alone. Good to see someone else's similar point.
Thank you for all that you do.
