I don't buy butter anymore! I make it myself with 1 ingredient!

    Recipe:
    1 liter of whipping cream (30-35% fat)
    Beat the cream with a mixer until the butter separates from the buttermilk.
    The cream will start to get clumpy, and the buttermilk slowly comes out
    Put the butter in a sieve and strain the buttermilk and lightly press
    Take a new bowl and fill it up with ice cold water
    Place your strainer over the cold water and
    press all the buttermilk out
    Shape the butter into a ball
    Take it into your hands and squeeze out any excess liquid
    Now, put the butter in a dish lined with cling film
    Let it cool in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
    Alternatively, you can also add salt, which increases the shelf life
    You can also put herbs, spices, or flowers
    Homemade butter is done!

    Cream costs just as much as butter. Why bother.

      2. It tastes incredible
      3. You can customize it
      4. Better for the environment
      5. It feels great to create your own things
      And just for a fun fact, in some countries or cities, butter is not, or not always available. Not everyone has the luxury to just buy everything in a nearby supermarket
      My video is for everyone in the world. Also, Butter definitely does not cost the same as cream in every country or city. Just because that's the way for you.

      I use it for making pancakes and bread. I also use it for marinating chicken or fish.

      It's not about being cost or time effective. It feels good to make things yourself and it tastes so much better than cheap butter and can also be personalized. Also, all the leftover buttermilk that comes out can be used for consumption as well. You do not have to throw that away.

      @gregschartiger4250 Whipping cream is essentially fat contained in buttermilk. The fat lies in small globules in the liquid. When you shake or mix the cream, the fat (=butter) separates from the watery liquid (= buttermilk). And that's how you get butter and buttermilk from cream.
