Im not saying the Pistons were innocent, but I am saying the failures aren't entirely the Pistons fault. More than anything it was a joke for other Pistons fans to we could laugh about the past a little bit as we get ready to enjoy the future.

Lance Stephenson returning to the Pacers was more like Dennis Rodman joining the Bulls in that he was in a situation/role where he was understood by his team and coaching staff, and allowed to be himself in the way that he played the game of basketball. If Greg Popovich had understood Dennis the way that he was understood in both Detroit and Chicago, the Spurs would have been champions before the arrival of Tim Duncan. And if Dennis had not been traded for Will Purdue and ended up in Chicago, the Bulls don't win another 3 straight championship banners (IMO).

He had one lone All-Star appearance in his first season with Seattle in 1997 but after that he was done. He had a decent season in 2000 but no where near the player he was in Milwaukee.

I am a big iverson fan but the truth is that he didn't drop off after being traded from denver. from the looks of it, something had happened in the offseason before the trade, his numbers had decline from something like 26ppg in the previous season to like 19, and he seemed sluggish in the few games he played in denver prior to the trade. then they traded him for billups etc, and in detroit he dropped to like 14ppg, so people think that the decline occured after the trade. but his production had fallen significantly even in the few games he played in denver at the start of that season. minor clarification, carry on (Y)

They should have told him he is not good enough to play in NBA anymore and he should look for another franchise not bench him like that and humiliate him.

Oh btw those media outlets have no such right questioning why Lance only fit in with the Pacers because quite frankly they were the only team who truly understands him personality wise to which the other 7 teams he played don't.

The NBA has a way of maximizing players within a certain system. I often wonder how certain players' careers would have turned out of they had been drafted by a different team or stayed with their original. Would John Stockton have been as good elsewhere, would Jimmer Fredette turned out better on a different team? There's lots more but those two come to mind for me since I'm from Utah

What’s crazy is Drose could of been on this list but he didn’t let that happen. Despite all of the injuries and jokes they made about him being hurt and the most fragile player ever . He still kept pushing himself and believing in himself. He just got a a good contract with the knicks and still in the league after everything he’s been through. Just goes to show what really could of been if he never got hurt .
