    something important about this list that needs to b taken into account is the pacing,some of these players averaged high points per game in eras with suffocating defense but others the opposite

      Agreed. 30.0 PPG was easily in the 80s and even early 90s, but between 96 to 2016 it was much more difficult imo due to pace. From 2017 on it's been way easier for players to score

    I saw all of these players play a lot. They all were good players but most of them had flawed games that probably contributed to their lack of team success. Usually it's subpar defensive play. When I think HOF I think you've got to have 7 to 10 pretty dominant years at your position and a couple championships including college. Right?
    Meanwhile, it was fun to check this out. Thanks, Wilson.

    World B Free should be in the hall of fame. He was a legendary scorer. Finished over 20 a game for his career and was Sprewell of his time. He was depicted by Andre 3000 in the movie Semi-Pro with Will Farrell when he played for the Miami Tropics (Flint Tropics in the movie) where he won a USBL championship that season with them. Although the movie Semi-Pro was a comedy it was actually based on a true story. He averaged over 20ppg 9 straight seasons. He was a talented dunker as well and was known for his 360 dunks and having one of the highest vertical leaps of all time nearly 46inches

    How is Tom Chambers the leagues first unrestricted free agent?

    • @WilsonSy
      @WilsonSy Рік тому +1

      Back then, most players often got traded if they didn't wanna play for their team or if they left as free agent, compensation and draft picks would be rewarded for the player's previous team. The new CBA at the time gave unrestricted free-agent status to players who had in the league for 7 + years and if their 2nd contract has expired. Before that UFA was more like wishful thinking, but Chambers' decision made UFA possible which many stars players followed years later, changing the league in many ways.
