Background: I'm a first-generation Filipina-American, daughter of immigrants, who just left the Bay Area to migrate to Oaxaca, the homeland of my partner. After visiting for years, we finally decided to go and call Oaxaca home. 😍 I love that this is bringing back the homeland to you. I haven't lived in the Philippines, but there are so many moments I'll be walking or sitting somewhere, and core memories of my childhood visits will come through. The food is seriously as good as it looks -- or better!
