They had such good chemistry. She’s the female version of Elvis. They remained friends.
There are so many fun Elvis movies and Hollywood critics rejected them as just puff pieces and Elvis was the highest paid actor during his movie career. Viva Las Vegas is still a popular movie.
You were so funny with your reaction. They truly fell in love and were together for a yr or two. They always remained close friends and both felt they were each other’s soulmates. She wanted her career and he wanted a more traditional wife to be at home with the kids etc. She was one of the few people who never divulged his secrets or their deep stories as others did. She has remained protective of him to this day. He’d send her guitar shaped flowers at the opening of each of her shows and the one time she didn’t receive them, she called and found out he had passed away that morning and she was crushed. She went to his funeral with her husband & still to this day has never said an unkind word about him. Thank you Harry for sharing this with us. 😂❤❤

From the time I saw Viva Las Vegas at the age of 11 I wanted to be Ann-Margret! She was so beautiful.
Funny; I saw it at the theatre when I was eleven too (1964). We (my date 'laughing') stayed and watched it twice; don't think I've ever done that for another movie. And yes, had almost forgotten how impossibly beautiful she was...

Ann Margret performed with the USO in Vietnam for the troops. To this day if she knows there is a Vietnam Veteran around, she never misses a chance to spend a moment with them. She calls them her boys and they STILL eat it up. 😂😂

So enjoyable, from the movie, Viva Las Vegas, 1964, the chemistry is palpable between Elvis and Ann Margaret. A great time for movies and musicals that any age could enjoy. Always with beautiful orchestral backing and admirable vocals at the time, this is a classic tune.

Love this reaction two actors with real chemistry. All of these scenes are fun and family oriented. Another great one is Elvis in "Spinout" singing to Nancy Sinatra, "Who are you? Who am I", so funny. And of course the all time best scene in "Loving You" when he sings "Mean Women Blues", the best. Thanks Harri, I really appreciate all your Elvis reactions. Be blessed.

Harry that's the beautiful Ann-Margaret...supposedly they were romantic in real life about the same time as he was dating Priscella. It was suppose to have been pretty serious.

I have quite a few Elvis movies. Some are a bit corny but the music is always great. "The Lady Loves Me" is from the movie "Viva Las Vegas" (1964). Elvis had great chemistry with Ann-Margret. Some of my favorite Elvis movies are "Blue Hawaii", "GI Blues", "Fun In Acapulco". They are all full of great songs.
Hi Harry! I have to look up if you've already done "What I Say" and "Mickey" by Toni Basil. If not, Micky was a huge hit for her in the early '80s, and she was a dancer in a red dress in Viva Las Vegas.
