I've said it before and I'll say it again: These 'old school' wrestlers REALLY knew how to work a crowd and the mic, without having to resort to profanity, T&A, or juvenile antics. A lost art......
Precious was so thick skinned, she handled all the barbs from the crowd with real poise. I agree 100% with slamdawg, back in the day Jimmy Garvin used psychology over style to really get the crowd fired up to hate him (and you loved to hate him). You mostly see gimmicky stupidity these days, but there are still a few guys who really know the basics. The master of this was Larry Zbysko, I've seen security rush Zbysko out numerous times because the crowd was getting frenzied over his antics.
Watching Precious and Garvin walk down that aisle while she sprayed the aerosol is how I tuned into wrestling for the first time. Watched to rest of the show because I was hooked before the bell rang.
"Look at him, he's upset. I thought this place had more class". What a cool B this chick was! (And I don't say that about a lot of broads) Gosh they must had some good times together! Lol.

real deal.See we as fans only saw it on T.V. or on PPV lessN you went to your local arena to see em when they came to town.But with this game you ARE THERE.My team is the Freebirds. Right now they are causing so much mayhem its just like old times to.Google Superstar Pro Wrestling Game.I got mine in 1984 when it came out.So if your tired of the WWE and want back the NWA or any other federation then google this and you will be glad ya did. Now they give the wrestler's a tight script and they rehearse their promos over and over,so they sound canned,stiff and boring. Back then they just gave them a general outline...who,where,what kind of match...and let them riff on it and they knocked it out of the park. Garvin wasn't even considered in the upper echelon of promo guys back then,that was more Dusty,Flair,AA,Cornette,Michael Hayes,to name a few,but he was light years ahead of anyone now.
Great feud. Annoying pretty boy heel Garvin great on the mic selling the feud along with hot valet against legit tough guy Wahoo McDaniel. Wrestling booking needs to go back to basic stories like this.
