exactly since churches were almost often cruel and being a priest was considered a highly valued job so it leaned more on entitlement than love for the lord
As a Christian myself, it is quite disappointing to see how a LOT of Churches are actually false prophets, and it's very difficult to find a real Church with meaningfulness in God's word.
Imagine the absolute hell (pun intended) that would erupt after that. Look out the window and the streets are full of panicking Christian broadcast hosts...
All with the three piece suits and with dollar bills flying out of their pockets.

I really expected it to be some kind of kinda edge lord debate where we just made sure Satan had some kind of point or like some kind of dark scary thing hidden under Gabriel's message. But I love how it surprised me by playing out how it would actually go down.

If you are foolish enough not to understand this, your outlandish belief that "Satan" is right is rooted in nothing but your own foolishness. Furthermore, "Satan" sounds human because of his fall, to believe that he is better than God because he is human is stupid. Salvation, happiness, love, etc. does not live in the mortal realm (with/of humans) only with Almighty God; earth and humans are just a creation, so to believe "Satan" is correct because he sounds mortal is egocentric, as humans have no reason to believe they are the root of anything good. If your looking for am individual fulfilling the laws and offering freedom, search in your heart for Christ, he is the only sinless one and he destroyed death by his own death; all that you believe is promised by "Satan" is fruitless, but in Christ it is true, the issue is, again rooted in your egocentric views that humans are even minutely important, Jesus requires you to look inside and fix your problems, not embrace them like your "Satan" says to do, if you can't handle that you won't survive the world, police will ask similar, so you better start practicing humility. As a Christian, I was worried for a minute; but this is pretty dang accurate to how a celestial EAS would play out. Gabriel speaking in a soft voice, calmly imploring people to come unto Christ with faith; meanwhile Satan is trying to convince people otherwise, getting angrier and more desperate as he continues. Great depiction of the Second Coming, with great messages.

I like to think Gabriel just appeared in a television studio and was like "Don't panic, but Jesus is coming, can I let everyone know?" and nobody even questions it and and brings him to the sound booth, they whip up some graphics, Gabriel pulls out a script and gives a thumbs up and the crew gives him the go ahead. and during the points where Satan is intruding, he's just standing in the booth looking at the crew saying "Oh, don't worry, he tries this stuff all the time up there, happens all the time, you'll get control of the broadcast back, the reception down there is terrible."

God is a loving god, he has never scorn us or loathe.

It pains me to see that people think god as some jealousy deity who if you don’t put above everything else, will send you too hell. God is a jealous god, but he is also a merciful, loving god who loves us like his children. It did an excellent job of conveying how Christ only wants to love and save us, while also portraying Satan in a highly accurate way. Holy crap! I wasn’t expecting how articulately conveyed and masterfully presented this would be. I admittedly thought this was going to delve into some “other” (i.e, Alternate)- but this really surprised me.
It really makes me think, especially at 6:42, how Christ would view mainstream Christian churches. Did they really convey his teachings, or are they now begging for forgiveness having previously extorted people? Not saying *every* place does this, but it was very common where I grew up.
This was a seriously amazing scenario, and as beautiful as it was, it left a sense of ominous uneasiness for better or worse. Can’t wait to see what you do next!
The main issue is most Christians don't read the Bible, I myself don't read it as often as I should. Paul directly addresses this several times in the New Testament and he makes it clear that it is a major problem. It's even mentioned in the Gospel at those who will try and distract us are the worst kinds of people that you can be. It's better to tie an anchor around your neck and go for a swim than it is to take God's children away
I love this take on the EAS during the apocalyptic event as not a message of fear and despair, but literally by the perpetrators themselves trying to ensure as many people can be saved and enter eternal peace, literally outlining what to do for those who have lacked faith to ensure they can enter the Kingdom of Heaven. And Satan's temporary hijacking was an excellent touch, I love it when series like these perfectly demonstrate how pathetic and desperate he is when faced with God's plan. I keep thinking of how in The Mandela Catalog, Satan is portrayed as an undefeatable supernatural force who had overthrown God and now tortures humanity for his sick enjoyment. But this EAS shows, in reality, how absolutely powerless he is in the face of God and, realizing his end is finally near, throws everything he can in pure terror with promises of eternal freedom if everyone denounces their faith and align with him, when the opposite would be true if they did. I'd imagine a few groups would legit declare undying loyalty to Satan and prepare to fight on his behalf during the Second Coming, only to realize too late they picked the worst possible losing side.
I could also imagine Gabriel's message being broadcasted on every corner of the globe in every language, and even to those who couldn't watch it would still by some divine intervention be informed of the Second Coming. And also another factor most likely mentioned by Gabriel would be world governments attempting to discredit the message as a hoax or try to use it for their own advantage, either by ordering mass militarization to quell any followers of Christ from preparing for rapture or to even try and start wars to weaken their rivals. I could legit see China, North Korea, Russia, Iran, or any nation on Earth having nationwide purges of Christians or anyone who suddenly converts to preserve their own power and to somehow survive, or even repel the Second Coming by military force or nukes. But as the trumpets sound and the clouds make way for His return, the Statues of Gold, Silver, Bronze, Iron, and Clay would realize too late that their lives of corruption and deceit were about to meet their horrific end at the hands of a being they, just like Satan, had no control over.
Gabriel taking back the broadcast to say "You cant EVER hurt anymore people, I will make sure all of Earth ascend with The Lord."
I feel like this wouldn't only be broadcasted through EAS, but instead through multiple platforms. Possibly through all social medias and every form of media/communication. For those unlucky enough to not have access to any of these, maybe newspapers and public tv or something like that. It would be hard to communicate with the uncontacted tribal people though.
There's something calming about Gabriel's voice here compared to the other scenarios.

This makes so much sense. Gabriel's EAS doesn't make you scared, but it makes you feel at peace. His voice also gives you a sense of peace as well as love. Satan's voice is also accurate aswell since he's known as the deciever and you can see that he gets more desperate as the video goes on, like he knows its the final hour, and his destruction is imminent. Definitely interesting video man. I remember bindge watching all the SCP videos when I was younger. Coming back after a couple years your content has gotten better. Here's a honest reaction from a christian and things I want to point out.
1. No one knows when Jesus is coming back. (Matthew 24:36) “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." Not even Jesus knew when he was coming back. So getting a 24 hour notice on the second coming of Christ would not happen. In Matthew 24:42-44, Jesus described his return like "a thief coming at the night" so Jesus emphasizes the importance of always being ready for his return.
2. At 6:08 Gabriel tells how to be "redeemed". He lists asking God for forgiveness, confession of sin, and making things right with people. Man I gotta say that the only way to be saved or "redeemed" is through Jesus Christ. Not of works, not of "making things right with people". We can get right with every person on the planet and do all the good works but still go to hell. That's why we need to repent, and not only believe in him but trust in Him.
I don't make this comment to be a smart alec, it's just that the message of salvation is so important. It's likely most of us have heard the message of a man name Jesus dying on the cross for sins, but not everyone understands why would Jesus even have to die in the first place? Well first, sin. Sin is so serious in the eye's of a perfect God that it is deserving of the death penalty. (Romans 6:23)

We deserved the punishment of death/Hell BUT because of God's amazing grace and love(grace meaning unmerited, nothing we could've done to earn it) for the world he gave his son, Jesus Christ as a sin offering(taking the punishment that WE deserved in his place) so that we won't have to suffer damnation but ETERNAL LIFE with him.

To me this seems a much more neutral presentation. Not enough evidence is shown for either side, like being stuck between a farmer and the wolves.
One systematically dismantles and harvests humanity, the other violently rips it apart. One is calm as it teaches lambs how to obediently be slaughtered, the other encouraging fear to prey upon chaos.
Or you could assume one is totally, definitely nice and honest.

A false offer of love may turn out abusive, yet "satan's" offer of power is only given the downside that "God" will torture you for trying to obtain it.
This makes the dilemma a guess between whether "God" will be nice to his sheep or slaughter them, and you have to wonder if "God" can even torture those who follow "satan".
If you disregard religious texts, as they are far too many and self contradicting to boot, then there are still FAR too many possibilities regarding the nature of super-real entities to guess, much less judge, where power and/or truth is held.
After all, judge people by their actions, not their words. But we can't judge fictional beings that are all talk. (Unless you count God committing genocide with the flood, and homicide[?] by crucifying his son, as proven actions. Oh, and satan is JUST made up. Satan has NO actions to his name, unless sin is his, but then humans wouldn't be guilty of sin.)
Also, I still fail to see how love is: killing one's own son bc your displeased with the sin of your "children by love".
Blood sacrifice, and the death of innocents, does not make wrongs right, it only adds to the death toll. (Makes things worse...)
So, how is God the love side?
It kinda seemed that way to me at first too but they get one key thing wrong... salvation. They say in the video that getting to heaven is merited by obeying his teachings, but that is simply not true. Real salvation comes from repenting and having faith in God, and acting according to that faith by obeying him out of gratitude for his grace. Works (obeying God’s commands) have no part in salvation, they only show true faith in a person who has it. We cannot simply cannot merit by obeying, it is Gods grace that gives us a way into his kingdom.
