Debatably this is more gruesome than most of even the SCP ones, since it’s us doing it to ourselves. Gotta love power hungry dictators having a ****** measuring contest with nukes.

I'd always imagine everyone going out in nuclear warfare but I never actually expected anything gas related usually I just thought radiation would be the major problem
Its better to die in the blast than survive after it in a bare wasteland or you actually prepared to endure for a few years below ground so the sky can be cleared and radiation levels are way down
Radiation would be the major problem, but gas could also have impacts
Most modern nuclear warheads are not that "dirty" and do not spread a lot of radiation, especially considering they explode mid-air(it extends the blast radius and also significantly decreases the amount of radioactive fallout)
@@deusvult6229 there would be ground burst weapons in order to target military facilities and places with underground facilities in general.
@@deusvult6229 An airburst explosion will still give you a bad dose of cancer if you step outside within a couple weeks of the blast. Another issue would be unmaintained nuclear power plants, if they melt down, you get Chernobyl everywhere a plant exists. While it wouldn't be as bad in the US since its so big, Europe will end up as a radioactive hellhole for the next 50,000 years
What makes this scarier than scenarios like a zombie apocalypse or the moon falling out of orbit is that this can actually happen

The House Of Commons (The place where Canada's federal government makes decisions) Said that if a nuke landed on, most likely, Ottawa, the first thing they would try to do regarding their citizens is minimize the outside air slipping into everybody's houses. So basically, they would try to make every Canadian's front doors airtight.
How would they do that quick enough?!

- Winnipeg
- Trenton (military installation)
- Petawawa (military base)
- Greater Sudbury (major mining operations potentially used for militarization purposes?)
- Montreal
- Quebec City
Not just major population centres that are impacted, but also capitals and strategic military installations as well as other locations that could potentially fund the war effort
Alert World never fails to amaze and horrify me all at once. These videos are quite high quality. I would love to see a part 2.
One critique: in high rise buildings, you should try to get to the middle of the middle floor, as it’s the furthest from where radiation dust settles (roof & ground). Being underground puts you directly underneath significant dust settling.
But that's after impact. For the initial blast, you'll want to be as low as you can.

@@TheExpertProcrastinatorif youre on range of blast, itll hit in like minutes at most. Considering how radiation will go to less lethal levels quickly, wait at least 2 weeks or until given the all clear from the proper authorities before considering leaving.

You should really do an scp 5726 scenario. Here’s what I have in mind.
First there are many suspicious disappearances and murders. All of the victims were adults who had been responsible of any wrongdoing (serial killers, burglars, corrupt officials, etc)
This situation is treated as a case of a serial killer, until the truth comes out about the girl responsible. I’d like this one to be more like some of the previous SCP videos that are longer and explain the situation further. (Such as the Window Man) Maybe Ichigo could even hijack the broadcast, or liquify the police until they decide to use less force. The possibilities are many! I really hope there is since there is not enough Ichigo content on UA-cam.

For the alert from Russia's perspective, thank you for going for English with a Russian accent rather than the Russian language itself, or that would have been a pain to understand, since foreign translations into English aren't always accurate, making the use of subtitles a bit of a pain. Also, iodine pills are a really bad idea if something is already wrong with your thyroid to begin with because the iodine can cause further damage from massively overloading your thyroid which can cause your thyroid to pump out too many hormones too quickly which can in turn cause a myriad of other problems depending on which hormones you have an excess of.
TL;DR: Iodine pills and thyroid problems can turn your thyroid into the biological equivalent of a dangerously unstable ticking time bomb that can hurt you later down the road.
This almost scared me, however, that was a blast!

Another comment in a new video mentioned how they were happy you were 'branching out' away from just the green DOS format. In some 'scenarios', its definitely appropriate to have ancient computer programs transmissing the message, like this one! In others.. well, let's just say analog horror can be quite potent to millenial and zoomer audiences. Seeing a reassuring, outdated 200-something broadcast glitching would definitely send shivers down MY spine!
I have a feeling that this will be watched on live television soon. At least something like it.
Out of curiosity, I asked my father (a U.S. War veteran) what we would do in this situation. He said that we’d make a quick run to the grocery store to grab food and water and then move into our closet, which is located in the middle of our home. (and far from the outside) We would do this regardless if the atom bomb was dropped in the country or not. He said it was also possible that we’d move toward Las Vegas, (nearest major city to us) for extra protection and shelter. Truly interesting

And I really like how the countries mentioned in the first EAS share a border with Russia and have been fully/partially under control, I also like the fact that the eastern front of Poland has been nuked considering the Poland has been more and more hostile to Russia, you have really done your research.
