I usually don’t comment on videos but I must say u have done a very excellent job. Very beautifully explained. Thanks for sharing all the needed info 👍🏻.
Hi Jewell Thank you so much for taking the time to give us such a very generous comment. Really appreciate it! Your support is important and please keep watching - Our Ultimate Guide to the Big Island of Hawaii is coming up next!
This is the most beautifully written tourist guide of Lisbon. I've seen many you tube video about Lisbon before, but this one is the best, but I saw it last. Thank you. 😄😃😀
Thank you for your kind words. Thats exactly what we aim to provide - fun, informative destination guides (and hotel reviews)! Please follow us for more each month!
Please notice that you can buy a transport card for 3 days, valid for all transports, at the Portugal Tourist Centers that will also include entrance for several museums and attractions. If you are staying for a few days it's the best and cheapest option.
Wow one of the most informative travel videos I have watched. Love how you did the maps explaining the areas. We will be visiting Lisbon in May 2024 and will be watching this video and taking notes
I do love your guide the most😊 Well organise, sections, easy to understand and also great picture with the lady. Thank you so much for managing all these places for us
Yes, I totally agree with most of the comments below. The use of the map to point out where the attractions are is a BIG help for my planning to Lisbon this fall. It's so smart and practical. Thank you.
Very interesting, but so many place names are mispronounced: It's BAI-sha (Baixa); RossEEoo (Rossio); BellENG (Belem). Av da Liberdade (not de la..); Jin-JEEN -ya shops; Grassa (Graca viewpoint). It will save a lot of confusion for tourists if they're said properly.
May I recommend the MNAA art gallery in the Santos area. If you're interested in Art and want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of sight seeing, not to mention the heat, the gallery is a great place to go. They have some famous artists there, including a Hieronymous Bosch piece, and also artefacts like jewellery and ceramics from around the world. Give yourself plenty of time there because there's just so much to see and there's a nice café and restaurant too with a lovely garden overlooking the river.
Glad to hear it! Enjoy your trip! Lisbon is such a great city to visit. So much to see and do there, try to schedule excursions like something like this.... www.viator.com/tours/Lisbon/Lisbon-Half-Day-Sightseeing-Tour-by-Electric-Tuk-Tuk/d538-25843P2?pid=P00152352&uid=U00443667&mcid=58086¤cy=USD
Super helpful content! Love the details and your organization style. I also appreciate your recommendations for travel insurance in the notes. That is always so complicated! Thanks for sharing all the links! It's always nice to get recommendations from personal experience.

As a Portuguese citizen born and raised in Lisbon, but having lived on 56th St & Camelback, PHX/ Scottsdale city line x 11 years, I loud you for putting together this video on my city. Great work, so kudos🙏👍!! Hope you come back again soon!! Xoxo fm 🇵🇹
Hi there Ms Silva. Thank you so much for the kind comment and glad u enjoyed. Hope you subscribed and suggested us to a few of your friends - us Arizonans need to stick together!
Thank you very much for this very detailed and informative guide in touring the Lisbon area. How many days do we need to cover the different sites you mentioned in this video. It will help me a lot to know as I’m planning to visit Lisbon this month. More power to you and your beautiful model. 😊
Thanks for the comprehensive guide! I especially appreciate the maps - since I'll only have about 6 hours on a cruise stop, it's so useful to get some context for all the sights so I can figure what I'll be able to see (and what will have to wait for my next longer visit)!
Thank you so much, I will pass the information to my hubby. He spends quite a bit of time on getting the best information out on these videos. Thanks for watching.
Hi Lenny Thank you so much for watching and the nice feedback! 😁. Really appreciate it. We also just posted our daytrip guide from Lisbon to Almada you might want to check that as well. Hope your vacation is awesome 🤩 Portugal is such a wonderful country to visit.
This video is very informative and helpful to those planning their first Lisbon trip. I do like your recommended walking map directions. I've been to Lisbon and covered most of what you mentioned but there are some places I did not see and do want to go back some time and cover those as well. My only criticism for your video is that you made some glaring typos and mispronunciations (such as Barrio Alto instead of Bairro Alto). Baixa should sound closer to "Buy-Shah" than "Bahk-Sheeya". It is such an American tendency to pronounce things the way an American would read them instead of learning how they are really pronounced. When creating a informative video on a place, you do owe it to your viewers to make a better effort here. This critique aside, you did a very good job on the information presented to help people plan things.
thanks for watching, we use a translator to try and get the pronunciation correctly but it seems like its never correct. Lisbon is such a great city to visit, from the US its the easiest and shortest flight for us to get to Europe.
Amazing video, so well put together, along with the map locations. Hats off, much appreciated. Wouid be great if the names appear on the video, fur to difficultly in understanding the pronounciation. Excellent job.
Ahhhhhh I love it, another desert dweller!!! Portugal is really a beautiful place to visit, hope this helped plan your travel there. Thanks again for watching.
It remained to indicate the new area, where expo98, the world exhibition, Parque das Nações, took place. Where there are gardens, oceanarium, science center, beautiful view of the new bridge over the Tagus, recent train station, by the architect Calatrava, largest suspended concrete roof, cable car etc.
Thanks for a wonderful guide to this beautiful city. Just spent two days there at the end of a longer trip - definitely going back, hopefully to spend about a week just to see Lisbon. Hope you don’t mind some constructive criticism: the correct pronunciation of Belém is to place the accent on the second syllable rather than the first; and the river’s name is pronounced “Tay-zhu’” instead of “Tag-us.” This one I learned from one of our Uber drivers. Contrary to what we’d been warned before we went, we found all the Portuguese people we encountered to be very friendly, helpful and approachable.
Thanks for the reply. When we do these videos we try & use google translate and ask local guides. Thanks for the correction. Portugal is a beautiful country 😎
@@scottsdaletravelchick FYI - Google Translate is not a particularly good option for Portuguese, as it only offers the Brazilian variant, which has some important differences. DeepL is a much better option. Regarding the river, it actually has two names, Tagus and Tejo.
If your even considering Lisbon I urge you to go. Its an amazing place to explore. Only Amsterdam and Prague can compete with Lisbon. If its summer I would do the later however due to the heat. In addition Cascais and Sintra are must side trips.
Your travel tips vlog has become my go-to resource! Just wanted to mention the new V4 of the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane. It's generating quite a buzz for its innovative design and thoughtful features, and I thought it might be worth considering for your travel tips audience. Have you had a chance to explore it?

Is this place really as hot as Phoenix in July?? I know its not as dry, but humid. Imagining as hot as Rocky Point? Am i right, or are vloggers being babies 😂
At 19.23 min. you show the picture of a chapel saying is the most expensive chapell in the world, but the photo is the another chapell, ... not the referred one... but who cares ?
I want to visit the areas where the Portguese brought in the stolen slaves from Africa, why was this excluded? Let's tell all of the history of Portugal.
You must have not watched the entire video. There is so much information here. I love watching their videos, so informative & not filled with fluff like other travel videos.

Sorry 😞
