Beautiful restoration and car paint choice!
LOL! I see the tape on the paint gun cup, I do the same thing! looking good !
It certainly looks good
Love that color ! Well done Gunman ! 💥👍🏼
Gunny smashing on that urethane 😊
Great info Gunny, it looks stunning, the color fits the Torana perfect, nice choice, Thanks for sharing. J
Yes gunny so hard when you work full time trying to do other jobs but you done a cracking job you should be proud of your self everything just takes time mate 😊
You certainly nailed it.
Peace ✌️
That looks sick Gunny lad.
Beautiful work mate!
Great quality show finish !👍🏻💪🏻
Hey Gunny, I followed all your videos on your Torana resto and IMO what you did with this car was a perfect restore as it wasn't over the top which could take years and cost a fortune with you possibly getting tired of it and on the other hand it wasn't a quick bodge it with loads of filler then a quick paint, I really like these older cars as they have a personality all of their own👌
The colour code you mentioned didn't show up on my system but I found Ford Orange Fury via a search and gave me the code M7409 which is a 3 stage and looks the same as what you used👏🙏👍John UK
beautiful car
Looks fantastic
You did it in a very good time , I am busy with a 1971/2 DODGE COLT 2door . Hope to finish it in little more then a year.
Just admit, you wish you could do it all over again. 🤣🤣🤣
Still need to pick out those door handles in black to match the mirrors and front panel.
So much great effort 😊
Wow Wow Wowee it's all I can say right now. Your work is a piece of art, congrats.
Hi Gunman! Maybe in the distant future you can give it a flow coat, and brush over the topic of painting over old paint as they call it a "blow-over" for other cars when wanting a quick respray if you know what I mean, not exactly your car it will be a flow coat if anything.
Looks fantastic mate. Well done.
So much great effort for yourself. Putting such work into your projects, much support for me.
Regards, William.
Good looking car 👍🏼
Good job good job. 😊
You did it the way it should of been done. Wasn't worth fixing you made all the right decisions.
Awesome job.
Good work.
😃🖐️
Very nice bro looks awesome

She's beautiful, Gunny. Great work as always!

See the Bombers fly up, up!
To win the premiership flag.
Our boys who play this grand old game,
Are always striving for glory and fame!
See the bombers fly up, up,
The other teams they don't fear,
They all try their best,
But they can't get near,
As the bombers fly up!
Hahahaha go Dons!!!
Nice work Gunny what about a 1.2 and the T110 cap doesn’t that lay a flatter finish then the T10 or is it just to slow for an overall job?
Very good job sir metal work is very slow that’s a get off work go home and work till shower and bed been there great job
Can I use monofil fine stopper over 2k primer thanks
Also touching base on your Sonax review video, maybe you will be doing a follow up video on it as it was mentioned but Im merely reminding you if you need to get around to making more content on it, all good if we're moving forward from it towards other videos.
Mate, unreal finish on this car! You inspire me to paint my own car in my shed. What spray gun would you recommend? Is that ANI compact you like big enough to paint a whole car?
It actually is big enough to do a respray, I would do it, it wouldn't be my first choice in a workshop for sure but I reckon it would be great at home
Hey Gunny what tip what size would you recommend on the compact for base / 2k gloss?
Cheers …torana looks awesome
☺👍
Sorry new commer, can you xplain 3-step polish . please
WTH!
Respray?
I do not understand this comment.
@davidklauer3422, Looks like old video reposted 👍
@@SalvageMasterEssex I mentioned that in the first sentence of the video.
Hi Gunman,
Great channel and content as always.
I had seen your videos on the Iwata supernova and the issue with the spray pattern being heavy on both ends at full fan. Then saw your gunman raw video with the Lotus edition and the loosened fluid tip to line the nozzles with the air horns that ended up leaking air.
In the video below another youtuber attempts to address this issue by matching the air horns to the tightened fluid tip which results in the air horns being tilted and spray pattern angled, therefore having to spray with the gun slightly tilted, but apparently results in a even spray pattern at full fan and full fluid. It would be pretty interesting if you could test this out, I am not a painter unfortunately so I can't test this although I would like to paint one day. All credit to the below youtuber if it does end up working out. Thanks for all the great content and fun reviews over the years.

Hey mate, I actually tried that, I couldn't see any difference at all.
@@TheGunmanChannel thanks for the reply, it seems the split nozzle technology is used on the W400 classic with WBX and WB2 aircaps, I wonder if these guns suffer with the same issues, maybe they do, it's quite interesting, the atomisation technology must be so intricate that minute differences in everything from gun machining to thickness of the clears/temperature etc effect the spray pattern through the gun as the end result. Just speculation I guess but generally the more finely machined something is, the more sensitive it is to external factors. Maybe that could be why you experienced spray pattern flaws in some of the new guns from SATA, Devilbiss, Iwata as a result of finer machining these days or more likely it's just poor quality control/cost cutting.
I can liken it to modern diesel fuel injectors which have extremely fine atomisation of the diesel where even with modern machining every injector produced has uncontrollable differences in manufacturing such that in the end there is enough difference in fuel delivery that each injector must be matched with a programming code to dial in the injector.
Computer microprocessors are similar in that microprocessor produced on the same production line will all have different processing speeds by factors the machining process simply can't control. Sorry I'm being a nerd now, lol. I'm an engineer by education hence the nerd-iness.
