I got my first skinny pig a year ago, and recently got another one last month and here are a few essentials I keep on hand:
Lots of soft hides to keep them warm
A small space heater
Vitamin E oil and cotton rounds for their skin
Free feed pellets
And double the amount of veggies for skinnies than with furry pigs.

My vet told me to free feed pellets for my skinnies as well. They are both so underweight when I got them from the rescue, so that might be part of it, but I think they use up so many calories just staying warm. Of course they don't even seem to like pellets much lol.
What do you mean by free feed? Like, unlimited supply or however often you want?
YAY Beans has a friend! You do such a great job taking care of your pigs and other animals! You can tell how happy they all are! I’m sure Beans appreciates the fact you found him a friend! Noodle is such a cutie!!

He is adorable! I love skinny pigs I have two. Make sure he has a pet safe heating pad. Put fleece on it or a soft hidey.
Not needed as long as their house is consistently at the same temp which it should be when owning animals. Inside pigs dont need heat pads

Dear Alyssa, I’m old enough to be your Grandma, I also adore guinea pigs- especially skinny pigs. Well, most animals. I think your hair and makeup at the start is gorgeous- and you are one of the few people who have really good piercings. I see them as the equivalent of 18thC patches to the face, highlighting certain areas. They highlight your mouth so well and your hair colour is perfect with your skin. Just saying, not enough folk are praised for making an effort - a piggy lover/keeper/ expert/ blogger AND you look good doing it. That’s also all irrelevant compared to the important piggy stuff which was fascinating and interesting. Thank you. I learned a lot. 😊🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Literally love my two skinny pig girls. They have become one of my biggest obsessions and my paycheck definitely feels the spoiling! I’m so so happy to hear you got yours healthy. My first ever skinny pig passed away so suddenly and it was so heartbreaking but I took a shot and bought two more back in December and luckily they have been very healthy and extremely happy.

My Guinea pig of 5 years just passed away last night. I’ve been really upset since, I’ve been struggling with my mental health because of it, I wish she could of been here a bit longer. But I love watching your videos, thank you so much for uploading this video it makes me happy seeing Guinea pigs being happy and in good hands.

I crocheted chair leg protectors for my coffee table and it worked for my bunny. Yeah, she could snap through the yarn easy but she just wasn’t interested. You could try that for your table.

If the skinny pig goes under the fleece to hide in the cage, binder clips work wonders!! I use them for one of my piggies who always goes under even tho she has plenty hides lmao

My two sweethearts are such good friends. If bugs gets stressed at all(hes very skiddish and my brothers arent allowed to pick him up because theyre too aggressive and scare him) porky comes and lays down next to him and cuddles him to comfort him. It's sweet.

Omg congrats! Just wanted to let you know adopting a skinny pig is the best thing you can do in life! They are so social and when they bond to you they will be so attached.
I had a rescue skinny pig that did NOT want a roommate. She was happy seeing the other pigs in a cage next to hers but she wouldn't have anymore to to do with them. I tried to put a stuffed animal guinea pig in her cage, she beat the crap out of it and ripped it's ears off. She was completely happy in her own space , with her own stuff. I only had her about a year and a half, she passed away from heart failure but she seemed happy in her own space.

You should buy a heating pad for your skinny pig because they get cold so easily. Thats what they do at Los Angeles Guinea Pig Rescue.
My pet room stays about 75 degrees, I don't really find it necessary unless they are living in a cooler climate

If you have a hamster water bottle it is great for the small ones to reach!
You should put coffees table/cage where zeros cardboard play thing is and extend noodles and beans cage where it is, I think that would be a nice use of the room and you will be surrounded by your piggies ❤️

I know this might sound dumb, but beans might just have a grudge against coffee I say this because my fiancé has piggies and his niece also had then and one of my fiancés piggies was always chewing on the bars because he was trying to get at my nieces Guinea pig who was not very friendly and of age like coffee. I do wanna say when we tried bonding them my fiancés was a baby and my nieces was about 3 years old and it went the wrong way so that’s why the little one had a grudge against the older one. The older one just wanted nothing to do with others. Once our niece moved out his piggie stopped chewing on the cage. So it might just be a grudge. If beans continues to chew the cage I would recommend from experience to move coffee else where.

I always get a bit anxious watching bonding videos. Fortunately yours went really well (especially for two boys!). It actually made me laugh watching Noodle trying to be on top. Whenever he climbed on, Beans just kept walking like nothing was on him ha. How are the two doing now? Btw, Ive done bonding and know just how bad that smell you speak of is 😄

Hi Noodles is so beautiful. I've had a skinny guinea girl she lived till she was nearly 8 yrs. The amount of poop and food she got through was amazing back then I had 9 guineas 2 werewolf guineas they have hair on their feet, head and shoulders I still have 2 girls. I've got 2 Teddy Bear guineas their fur is so fluffy I have 1 left now. The other girls are Abyssidians (spelling sorry) It was so lovely to see to him bonding and sleeping together they love cuddles. I would buy some coconut oil as skinnys skin gets a bit dry.
