Well done Mike - great idea. Can I make a suggestion? With a little bit of judicious jiggery-pokery, a further section could be fitted in on top of one or both of those sections. Whilst it may reduce the amount of scenery that could be added, a man of your calibre could probably sort it! Good luck and keep up the great work.
Amazing what N gauge can afford you to do in any small area. I love the “How can I …”, “What if I were to ….” questions that you pose and answer. You keep us thinking; keep us innovating. 😀
Nice idea ! I'm looking for a small layout that I can carry with me on a suitcase while going to holidays by train in my mother's house. A 78cm tall suitcase is too small a priori for an OO/HO layout, unless stored in several parts, but OK for an N one as far as I had studied the concept. I just need the right plan now, something you gave me ideas with you own layouts. To be continued...
Hello from Sweden! Just another "way" to fold your 2 pieces of railway /yard. First piece "fiddel yard" has left short side and backwall, the second piece has backwall and a right hand short side. When packing up for travel, you just swivel the fist piece upside down ontop of the other piece, so youve got one bottom down, the other bottom up and 2 short side walls and 2 back walls? :) Almost a "toolbox" size for carrying around. Hope you followed my idea described in text heh. Cheers
As a motorcyclist who has a compact layout myself, this is PURE GENIUS!
That's very kind of you thanks
Hi I ride a motorbike to , I like the train layout
Brilliant Mike... love it.. especially as an ex all weather biker myself...
This the limit, phone drivers are bad enough.
We don't need people getting distracted by shunting on this great layout in traffic 😁
Lol
Very impressive. I'm still working on a model of Eastbourne station small enough to keep in a sunglasses case in my top pocket. In OO. Tricky.
Superb idea mate! Just shows that there’s no such thing as ‘too small’ 😃
Thanks

They fit to the top of the top box so effectively fill it sadly
@@BudgetModelRailways Oh well!
Being a biker as well ,Mike I love it 😊

Hello, what a brilliant layout, and fits in the bike box perfectly, and take it anywhere.
Thanks
Mind blown. And there is plenty of space to add scenic details, buildings etc. if I think I can’t do it I just watch one of your vids.
Thanks
Thanks for the video Mike, sure does work, and people can have a go at shunting!!😎🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🇬🇧🇺🇦
That's the plan thanks
Nice motor bike
As usual, you've managed to make something interesting out of a fairly small box. Good job, I look forward to seeing it finished😀
Thanks
