  • Laurie Anderson in 'A Room for London'
This performance was part of "Sounds from a Room", an Artangel production, broadcasted as a live video stream from a hotel installation on the roof of the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London.
In this part, Laurie invites Gordon Mac into the Room, a radio DJ, founder of Kiss FM, "a former pirate". They talk about pirate radio stations in London while trying to scan through the airwaves for pirate radio channels.
Note the expression on Laurie's face @7:08... Priceless!

+Jay Zarna --- Elizabeth Diller (architect, one of the principals of Diller Scofidio Renfro, Architects) has a similar speaking voice. Another woman of intelligence.
