  • "The F 750 GS is BMW’s saner version of the two mid-spec GS twins. It might not have the off-road prowess of the 850, but it does deliver enough to delight the budding adventure motorcyclist. The ground-up new design is set to deliver better on-road performance while taking into account your mild off-road jaunts. It packs in good kit and offers a more manageable experience. The F 750 GS goes up against the likes of Triumph Tiger 800 XRx and the Ducati Multistrada 950.
    BMW F 750 GS Price & Variants:
    You get the F 750 GS in three variants, with the Standard variant priced at Rs 11.95 lakh. The Pro and Pro Low Suspension versions cost Rs 13.40 lakh and Rs 13.20 lakh respectively. All prices ex-showroom India.
    BMW F 750 GS Specs & Features:
    Powered by the same 853cc parallel-twin motor that is found in the 850, the output numbers are slightly lower on the F 750 GS. It makes only 77PS and 83Nm, which is 13PS and 3Nm fewer. However, this deficit is not felt in normal riding conditions. You get conventional forks and an electronically adjustable semi-active rear monoshock with adequate travel at both ends. Road-biased Bridgestone Battlax Adventure rubber comes shod on 19/17-inch alloy wheels. It is 5kg lighter than the 850 as it tips the scales at 224kg.
    BMW F 750 GS Colours:
    It comes in three colours - Light White, Austin Yellow Metallic and Stereo Metallic Matte.
    BMW F 750 GS Performance:
    The F 750 GS manages to impress us in on-road performance as it is able to do the 0-60kmph run in 2.10 seconds while 0-100kmph takes 4.26 seconds. These are impressive figures as they are quite close to the ones of the 850. In fact, the 750 manages to outpace the 850 in in-gear accelerations, clocking 2.86 seconds for the 30-70kmph sprint in 3rd gear and 3.58 seconds for the 40-80kmph run in 4th gear. Braking is definitely an improvement over the 850 as it takes 45.68m and 16.55m to come to a standstill from 100kmph and 60kmph respectively.

    Nice video. Thanks for the many details. I love my f750gs. I added many accessories and now it’s perfect. I use my 1250gs for easy off road rides. And I use my 750 gs for more challenging rides like CABDR in America. My friends laugh at me for this but as a short (and an aging - 60) rider, it works for me. I use to think 1250 was my all a rounder. Now, I ride my 750 more than the 1250. You have to ride what’s comfortable for you. So for me, f750gs is my new go-to bike. Ride safe everyone!

    Tbh I love the alloy wheels more than spoked wheel.( I think alloys look more cooler on modern bikes and spoked wheels look cooler on retro bikes)

    Have about 2800 miles on my 21 model. Ohhh so nice. And with the Air Flow seat cover, Ilium High Way pegs, and Clearwater Erica and Darla lights I'm ready for some sweet Hwy. Cruisin .Great review on an incredible BMW bike.

    Very good video. Thanks for posting.
    I think the windscreen from the 850 will fit the 750 too.
    I'm 5'9" and with regular tennis shoes on my feet were pretty much like yours; sort of a semi-flat footing. My inseam is 31" I think.

    Seat comfort is relative to who's butt is in the seat and being flat footed or not is relative to inseam not overall height of someone. Beautiful bike.

    @2:09 ..."set your desired speed and it (cruise control) would accelerate on its own" ...?? You mean it would maintain that speed without the rider having to hold on to the accelerator.

    Dunno why you show this 😅 bike doing jumps and off-road, it's not designed for off-road, it has cast iron wheels, not spoked. And only a 19inch on the front, don't kid yourselves, this is not an off road bike, and the ABS cannot be switched off on the back brake

      Is it worth comparing 650cc with 850cc. And at this cost difference could be almost double the price if fully loaded (the bmw)

    • @marcmonfortegras8545
      @marcmonfortegras8545 3 роки тому

      I was considering same options, for extra security (Cornering ABS), higher power and torgue, better suspensions and customization you will only be charged one or two grands extra. I completely decided to go for BMW, although I won't blame any Vstrom, I don't think the money difference is so high.
      Of course, I'm not even trying to fully load the 750, then it has absolutely no comparison with Vstrom.

    • @dgbrownnt
      @dgbrownnt 5 років тому +3

      I have both and they're both great bikes. The V-Strom is a great all-around bike and has fantastic bang-for-the-buck. If you're looking for the best value, it's an easy call. If you want a little more refinement and a lot more tech, the BMW is perfect, but it comes at a premium (once you start spec'ing out the BMW, you could buy a couple V-Stroms). It just depends what you're looking for and how you want to spend your money. (I bought the BMW for stuff like the cruise control, quick-shifter, esa, tft screen, bluetooth, etc)

    Shitty review, at the start, they are just talking about common sense stuff; the part when he says to not be on 6th gear below 8Km/h its just common sense, how the fuck can you not expect the acceleration not to be sluggish why on absolutely low rpms on a gear too low...
    To the people why say the TFT display is not worth it, look deeper into it, not only does it allow yo to connect your phone but with the BMW connected App, it allow you to use the display as a gps, gives you a ton more of information, than the older display doesn't give.
    People who say they prefer the V-Strom, im wondering if it gives you ABS Pro, Dynamic ESA suspension, Gearshift Pro, Dynamic traction control, keyless drive... at least in the Sport version.
    look for the honest owners review after 10.000 Kms, that will show you how good it actually is, with out complaining.
    One last thing, if you are planning to buy a motorcycle, you should know that it is not a cheap inversion, you'll need gear, the motorbike options and extra protections like the alluminium engine guards are a must in any of these types of bikes.
