Air Conditioning Basics 101 | AC Is Not Cold Enough

Baby, it's HOT outside! It's that time of year for vehicle air conditioner issues. Ron Ananian The Car Doctor™ has a 2004 Chevy Suburban in the shop and the customer says that the AC is not cold enough. After Ron performs an initial service of the AC, the problem still persisted. As the vehicle was driven and the engine temperature rose, he discovers that the blower motor actually slowed down. The diagnosis is the blower motor is failing and will be replaced. Keep in mind that air conditioner problems sometimes require more than a recharge. There may be other issues going on within the entire AC system.
