- These trashed Jordan 1s looked they'd been worn in an oil field. For this restoration Vick took on a $50 pair of Clay Green Jordan1s from eBay with RESHOEVN8R products.
When the cleaning started we could've sworn they were Mocha Jordan 1s, but after a complete deep clean using the Signature Cleaning Kit these were brought back to that green colorway.
After a deep clean, some paint and a couple other restoration tips, these Clay Jordan 1s were definitely restored. I would say these were well worth $50. What would you rank this before and after out of 10?! Let us know in the comments what you think about today's video.

Right! These were so nasty
Pro tip, you can decrease the heel panels (leather or suede) like you do on Jordan XI ankle collars. Throw something like a thick hydro flask in the shoe to stretch out the panel and add support behind it then lace them up super tight around it. Iron like you would for other panels like the toe. If it's a vibrant color of suede, you can use a heat gun to heat up the heel cup and reshape it, then smooth it out with your hand or a roller and let it sit overnight to form. Already faded suede or dark/neutral colors can be ironed wet/dry with a cloth in between.

* I bought a pair of DS Maroon 6s a little while ago and the leather overlays were dried out and looked like old senior citizen but some light bee's wax made the leather young, fresh and supple 👌🏻

We use the sun to air dry them or we use our drying rack that's in our store

Quick question, on a shoe like this how long do you actually scrub the shoe? For us the viewer we get the fast forward version which is understandable but we never see the time lapse.
We do actually scrub the shoe, it can take anywhere from 15-30 minutes

I would not recommend using the Brass Brush. You can use the Soft Brush or the Medium Brush.

Hello vick! I read on reddit that using the heat gun you eventually dry out the leather from the "oils" that make the leather soft...is it true?
It can. However, the Mink Oil can help a lot to fix it.

What about the rubber sole? I have an old pair that I want to give to my step son. The shoe itself is in great condition except the rubber sole feels more like hardened rubber. How do you fix that? Currently if you wear these you’ll slip while walking in the halls at school.

@RESHOEVN8R thanks watched the video. The light manufacturer doesn't do the 1500W version anymore on Amazon. So I bought the 5k version. I'm in the UK was thinking of buying a different brand of LED lighting but the range of light your suggested lighting model omits is quit unusual. It's almost a direct replica of sunlight. Most omit within two narrow bands, one UV one visible. So I've imported your model from the US. Thanks for your help

For mostly getting yellowing of jordan midsoles just use dirterasers (These white sponges). U get all the grime and dirt+ yellowing of. No H2O2-SOLUTIONS or Brassbristles NEEDED. Thank me later

I have some Jordan 1 Infrared Mids with the 3M reflective coating. They some cracking and rips in the outsole. Restoring the 3M may make for an interesting video, I'd donate them if you guys want them!

Normal black would have been to shiny
Flat black has more of a matte effect.

Got some brand new Jordan 1 mids seeing globs sticking out of the sole / pattern of leather between the two shoes looks completely different , stitching looks so bad , some of the parts aren’t even properly mated before being sewed up it’s garbage should I return them

i have an old pair that still in decent condition they are the red & black ones, ( they are a remake of the very first pairs that came out ( the varsity red ones ) People have told me that if i fix them i can easily sell them for like $100.00 +
The soles fell of in the past, after that i tried using a glue that i bought on ebay tu put them together but i ended up taking it off because it wasnt stable enough apparently i needed a better more sofisticated one, but then the white part at the bottom of the shoe got stained with the glue and now i dont know how to take out the glue off the white part and the glue is yellow very noticeble, in some corners.
i am afraid of using the brush to much and damaging the material in the white rubber.
the shoes is in great condition for the years ive own it, i have them since i was 18 and now i am 32. is there any special technique or solution i can use to take off the glue without damagaing it? and also what what is the best glue for soles. Thank you in advance.
