I had a back toe pair of Jordan 1's....... wore them until they looked about like these and then just tossed them in the garbage. As I'm sure all of the other guys did that are my age. Funny thing, by the time I bought my Jordans my mom understood sneaker prices..... I was out of the house by then but I do remember my mom coming undone with what I paid for a pair of Adidas Top Ten's.
The black toe 1's are my all time favorite Jordans. I still have my original pair of 1985 Chicago's but missed out on the black toes. You both did a kick azz job restoring those grails. 👍

What was the mix of paints to make the red? So hard to find info online for the red on 1985s
We would have to ask Vick for an exact mix, but a lot of paint is just trial and error
