i remember seeing a clip of korone watching an okayu minecraft stream where she says she really appreciates korone by her side and their friendship, then korone gets emotional and admits that she can't openly tell a friend when they are doing something wrong or tell them something that could be interpreted as something bad since she was so afraid they would hate her, it's nice to see how she has grown since then and now has the confidence to be able to openly mess with her friends.

I think another important consideration is that Korone's outfit was themed towards what they were doing, whereas Kanata's was lame just for no reason 😂

I'm kind of disappointed they don't buy the clothes their avatars wear. But I guess Korone dressing like Korone out in public would expose her fast.
I think pretty much all of them would extremely stand out in almost any of their outfits if they wore them casually in real life. Even the ones that resemble real outfits are still pretty elaborate and striking.
Some of the more fashion conscious girls might get away with it, but Kanata would never put that much effort into a casual outfit.

Kanata and Korone are good friends precisely because they can be honest about their lame tastes to each other, and it's really funny hearing both their sides of the story.
I love that so much of their dynamic now is about teasing each other about their fashion taste being terrible. They should play a fashion related game together or something and just tease each other the whole time, lol.

Yeah PPT grew up on the sticks. She’s not only from a poor single mother family in rural Japan, but she also naturally didn’t care much for fashion and was rather boyish. All of this led to her being entirely fashion inept, as she was wearing uniforms her whole life and probably just thought she would then wear suits when working.
But she took the plunge and went for her dreams, and now she has to learn fashion. At least she has Suisei as a neighbour.
As for Koro-san… well, she’s a sporty girl but she has always been a bit of an oddball.
Fashion sense or not, it doesn't matter. The doog is cute, and will always be cute.

Long story short, Korone looked like she came in from a jog but Kanata came looking like she just woke up and threw on a shirt. Yeah, Korone's not lame in this instance. Other times probably but I think she was more on point that day.
Just to answer the question in the description, Korone's end outfit just makes her sound like a hardcore sports fan to me. Not that being a hardcore sports fan requires being that hardcore. Sure its not high fashion and would probably look out of place anywhere else, but if she's doing an announcement for a baseball game I can understand why she'd want to get in the mood, especially since isn't she a big Baseball fan or something anyways? Definitely sounds like what I've seen people wear to Football games in the USA anyways. So I'd say Kanata was less fashionable, because she didn't take the theme or the mood into account, even if in the studio noone would see them except each other anyways.

I don't know, I think any lameness of an outfit is overridden by its relevance. If I go meet my friends in the country for instance, I might wear stuff that makes me look like kind of like a hick, but it's more important to fit in than look stylish. Sure sportscasters usually wear suits instead of uniforms, but she dressed to match the concept art for the event, which I think is actually really cool and meta.
It is funny that Kanata shows up in pajamas, though, like: "what, I'm a voice actor, not a sportscaster, you got a problem?"
My personal view on this is Kanata and Korone fashion sense in general. Casual/lame

Korone: Appropriate/maybe a little lame
Kanata: lame/ super awkward
I do met some people who choose lame outfit on purpose and rather than looking plain they standout even tho it's lame but their attitude somewhat giving out the cool vibe.

Funny enough, my dad used to be the one to bug me about wearing the proper clothes to certain things and generally pushing me to dress and present myself better, but I'm pretty sure he gave the okay for me to wear Korone's exact outfit (except with shoes) to go out and watch a soccer or basketball game. He's the type who wouldn't have let me come at all if I wasn't presentable (looked lame).

Hmmm, everyone has their own taste of fashion. I cant really judge because I have no fashion sense, but if I were to see fan art of these two in the aforementioned attire, I would probably say that Korone looks better. But maybe because I'm slightly biased towards Korone, especially after today's Hologra.
They're both a bit...iffy. If you watched their fashion battle stream, Korone has the sense of a 5 year old who wandered into someone's closet. While Kanata has the fashion sense of a grandma.

Korone was just wearing the standard uniform of an introvert, and I'm sure it looked a lot better with the Baseball jersey, which is what she had intended. But Kanata's outfit seemed pretty wild.

It's hard to say, because the Kanata and Korone that we see didn't choose the outfits we typically (as far as we know), so our expectations are being molded by someone else's fashion sense.
Sidenote but I'm glad Japan's strict privacy laws help allow those idols to go to big public places without fearing exposure.
